  1. FYI for anyone that knows bikers in Hants/Surrey with a bike stolen since last Oct -
  2. Had this through from a friend and thought it would be apt to post it here as there are a few keen bikers or members with links to bikers
  3. We often get that over here. A big bus load of Japanese tourists will pull up near where we are having a Z meet, and promptly take oodles of pics of the Z's. They love the old Z's too, especially given most of ours in really lovely condition. Quite funny given where the cars came from. . Seen that too when we visit touristy places like certain parts of the Lakes, Wales or Scotland. They love em. Shame we dont have any good British cars to do the same to
  4. Proper adjustment at service is key. It should be checked and adjusted at a service and if done so the handbrake is fine. However this is too much effort for most dealers to be bothered to do If you do it yourself make sure you follow the proceedure in the service manual. You dont want the shoes touching the discs when driving normally
  5. Always good to have a nice tight setup Great pics there, that looks like a great day out
  6. You wouldnt trust a pro to detail your car? Do you have a lot of experience with correcting and prepping paint? I'm anal about who touches my car, but I wouldnt think twice about letting someone like Tim@Envy tackle it I wasnt suggesting just letting any old guy have a go - get a reputable detailer and the results will be wonderful
  7. If into detailing, get car detailed. If into track driving get a track day or track experience or training. All have been discussed on here at great length, give the Advance Search (top right) a try
  8. Ranks are based on posts (unless fettled by the Admin) 0 - Z Newbie 15 - Z Hopeful 100 - Z Dedicated 350 - Z Fanatic 1000 - Z Veteran 5000 - Z Legend
  9. And as such I've removed the contact details (as this forms a part of advertising). Thank you for taking the time to respond though - most wouldnt have
  10. Guess thats why its mostly black - that must make it easier. Good luck matey - look forward to some pics/vids when you get back
  11. Bracket below it is the relocation bracket for the PS cooler when you fit a HKS S/C Knew you were worth keeping around for something
  12. Well it is an oil cooler Ya not wrong
  13. Good ninja edit from Dave there Dunno what the bracket below it is though
  14. Power steering fluid/oil cooler
  15. He'd have had one hand out the window waving
  16. Be prepared to spend lots of mulah when you hear his car Going to be expensive when you decide you need an Akra and Berks
  17. Sure I've seen that before, but as its Mike I'm not sure I dare say its a
  18. Stillen or Akra - cant go wrong with either - one is a bit more bling but you pays your money for it
  19. Not got no dosh before the wedding next May
  20. Good to know - I'll bear in mind they may take a while. My car isnt a daily driver any more so now have the excuse to make some good handling mods
  21. Yeah nice to know that hacking up the car was worth it for some HP. TBH I didnt expect the Gen3's to give anything after the UpRev, but appears they give a litte extra. I got them for free with the Stillen deal so it didnt bother me, other than the effort required to hack up the car a little. And the fact they need the bumper off to clean them every 50k miles (will do it more often though). Dont tell G Man that the Akra might not flow as well as the Stillen, he may cry Lovely looking and sounding system though - you should hear it with G Man's HFCs
  22. Not yet, its on the list of to-do's. Also consistent to see peak torque and BHP are at the same speed on my car and the one posted. (click thumbs for full size)
  23. Good to see another auto get done and also to see stock vs mods vs mods+map. Seems my Gen3 intakes must do some fiddling with the MAF to alter the fueling after all looking at that Gotta love the smooth mid range torque
