  1. The kit fitted to my previous 350 when new by the supplying Nissan Dealer had leads, which when you pulled the individual sensor out, were capable of being detached from the cable (one of the four) going to the control unit. In that way, by testing with another sensor that was working OK you could tell if it was the sensor (or that small section of supply cable) that was not working, or there was a fault in the cable going to the control unit, or the unit itself.
  2. Thread moved from 370 section Welcome the forum BTW, and post up an introduction
  3. That's a very early MY06 facelift model - and with that mileage it looks like a great buy for the money you are thinking of. But check out the service history carefully and get the usual checks done before parting with your money.
  4. it was a Santa Fun Run in aid of the local hospice I believe..... Ah! wonder why they didn't come round for donations given the large numbers ready to cough up £10 or more for a few laps in the AMGs
  5. Oh, and did anyone find out why there were over 200 Santas milling around
  6. After the disappointment of the Goodwood cancellation last weekend, have to say my first Pistonheads meet at Mercedes Benz World made up for things - so thanks Chris and Darren for setting this up. Set out at -4 degrees this morning at 7.30 to meet Darren , Heather/Charlotte at Reigate and Darren's mate in his M3 for a little convoy to Brooklands and met with Iain and son and Chris and his mate there. Seems a shame some of the old Brooklands banking is now just a wind break for Tesco's... and Darren having a sneaky polish Then drove to MBW - a real eye opener with the cars on display and a feast for petrolheads with some awesome cars that turned out - the 700 limit was oversubscribed - perhaps not that many turned up but an awful lot did. Just looking Loved the model car line up: Two of my favourites that caught my eye: Love the plate And others Carded - anyone on here? Anyone know what this is - looked very nice ? Some short vids added First time out for Heather and Charlotte on a 350z-uk meet - hope you enjoyed yourselves and we will see you out again in the New Year. Look out for the little drive Darren is organizing in Kent - now that should be fun
  7. Would like to see it for real as the photo ^ dosen't sell it to me, yet
  8. I'll put you down on the list, but it might be a long wait
  9. That is awful - not surprised at all about your reaction Vik although I rather suspect you are not the only one up and down the country had this happen. No comfort, but knowing Council's they will either not respond or hand it over to their insurance company and not worry - after all, it's you and me who end up paying in some way or another
  10. Hang on - look closely at the tree line - isn't that Alex blasting round - he's not going to let a little bit of snow stop him
  11. Thought you said the crutches were working wonders
  12. Yep pm M13KYF options here: viewtopic.php?f=67&t=12347&hilit=350+stickers
  13. I agree, the damn syncro-rev is killing my mpg
  14. Says he who flys the jolly rodger
  15. Thread locked as item sold
  16. Take Vik's advice about sourcing the plugs and you might also like to think about other things, oil, filters etc from traders - but might be best checking with your garage if they are OK using parts supplied from elsewhere. If you are allowed off the Wigit then you may well find a visit to a specialist on the mainland worth your while
  17. +1 given the look of the rest of the your car Buster - should look very . BTW (and IMHO), keep the badge (Nissan or Z) and the indents that continue the flow from the bonnet
  18. Forum welcome viewtopic.php?f=160&t=43346
  19. Glad you are OK Malcolm
  20. Unless you are on crutches, eh Darren
  21. Its not a cam belt they are talking about, if that is what you were thinking - ZEDs have a chain
  22. Search button - now er, what's that for again
  23. Unfortunately it is very believable - any excuse for an insurance company not to pay out, even when someone is trying to do the right thing.
