  4. Have a great day Graham, although I guess you are still on a high from Thursday eh?
  5. Maybe the FIA will become known as the RBIA now
  6. I very much doubt that seeing the attention to detail in the early stages of the wrap and noting the handles were removed:
  7. hen I see that it only seeems like yesterday I bought their first single 'Come on' True legends
  8. With a tape measure yes, but I can assure you that coming from a 350 to a 370 it seems bigger - most certainly from the inside but also from the outside and if I'm honest the 350 lines seem more 'natural' - if that makes sense
  9. I agree, but the Blitz spoiler looks ace. I have been thinking about gloss black wrap on the roof of the 370 but then might not sit right with the carbon wraps on the front and rear. Maybe its the combination of gloss and matt that is more unsettling to the eye, but I'm reserving opinion until I seen Adrian's car in the flesh as photos are never the same as in the flesh.
  10. You shouldn't take any notice of Dan - goes off and dabbles in a porker and now looking to come back to the ZED fold - reason: needs something cheaper to run. What he won't admit to is the ZEDs give more value for the money
  11. Ferrari have accepted what the FIA say, so Vettel remains champ: http://www.bbc.co.uk...rmula1/20552525
  12. You ought to sue Chris - breach of copyright
  13. There you go Sorry I was late on parade guys but RobPhoboS has helpfully got in first
  14. Happy birthday Netti - and I'm sure Bob will pamper you today as the Zed Shed family did yesterday Bright little number you have to run around in Mrs B but I think those wheels need changing for the ones on the cake
  15. Hope he got a lot of satisfaction last night
  16. A Hawkeye and older Impreza has no TCS at all. 4WD does naff all if the driver does something daft. It's all about the driver, and nothing to do with the TCS. +1 and if you are beginning to feel put off a rwd then perhaps the challenge of driving a real driver's car and one of best ever made 'out of the box' is not for you. And something like a TVR then would be an absolute no-no.
  17. +1 Noting your limited time on here, with respect that may be your mechanic's opinion but that is certainly is not the opinion of numerous independents who are signed up on here and have many years experience of the 350, apart from many members who have also benefitted from a Nissan fluid and molyslip oil change. That said synchro wear has also been a factor (not unique to 350's of Nissan BTW) and often down to poor gear changing. Like speedwell and others ^^^ advise, never force the change between 1st and 2nd when the fluids are cold (thick). Once it is warmed up it should be fine and particularly when driving 'spiritedly' And for the correct oil, search the ZMANALEX pages as I know he has listed down the right fluid and he can of course provide that and the molyslip - rather than hope that the person who previously changed the oil in the OP's ZED got it right.
  18. One here if you want one with a lot of good mods and a lot of known history on the forum http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/65097-2005-350z-gt4-ultra-yellow-nismo-13000/
  19. Thank you. Saw a tip in the paper last week, in an article about preparing cars for winter. "If your wipers are squeaky/ineffective", it said, "clean them with a rag soaked in dilute methylated spirits or vinigar". After cleaning the screan and wipers with white vinigar, I can report that they work perfectly and silently. No more squeak, judder or missed areas. I always use white vinegar and clean off with newspaper, both inside and out and stops the smearing/fogging better than any glass cleaning stuff I have tried
  20. Talk suggests that if the overtake on Vergne under yellow on lap 4 was found illegal and as it had not been spotted at the time, past actions demonstrates that would attract a 20 second penalty on the result. In which case Vettel drops from 6th to 8th losing 4 points and in the process and he would then end up 1 point behind Alonso for the season. Hmmmmmm................... this could end up the Courts
  21. Obviously the FI Management are getting uncomfortable: http://sports.ndtv.c...-f1-2012-winner
  22. Have a good one Jim (And if you didn't have a spanking new 370 to wake up too - perhaps Santa will bring you one)
  23. Looks like he lost the front bumper on the practice run though
