  1. I also think there is a tendency, if coming from a turbo car, to boot the loud peddle for that extra feel of grunt in the back but don't be fooled about the ZEDs speed because as most have indicated above providing you feed in the power progressively you then only have to look in the mirror to see just how rapidly other traffic falls behind. The torque is deceptive, but planting the loud peddle to the floor (other than in a straight line maybe) and you will be catching the back end - whether the TC is on or off.
  2. I think Pete & Caroline has trumped Jims, cos they got a ZED in the pic as background
  3. Good to hear a member looking after old folks...........er Steve I've got a gardening job for you
  4. +1 Wife had a Jazz and now a Mazda 2, and the feeling safer bit in the ZED Ian mentions with its huge reserves of braking, handling, power (when needed) etc just make journeys effortless. Thoroughly enjoyed a reasonable mileage today even though it has been pi$$ing down.
  5. You are not being "stopped from being helped" but there comes a point when everyone in business has to draw a line on time spent on advice when they have other customers to deal with. In my own line of work I too have to 'draw the line' with those who just try to use me for getting free info to then go off and do it themselves, often later on getting into difficulties and wanting me to bail them out........When a living has to be made there comes a time when we all have to draw a line rather than becoming an extension of the Citzens Advice Bureau. But you get plenty of advice on here and good to see others who have the time are offering their advice to you for free.
  6. Having recommended you to approach Alex, knowing his experience with TT conversions and that he was relatively local, I since understand you have previously sought his advice but chose other options after pm exchanges so I think you will need to continue to look elsewhere.
  7. Happy Chrimbo Stan, Lucy and Ania Think I am right in saying Ania was the first 'forum baby' after Stan and Lucy met as members and the rest is history, so would be great to see all 3 of you again In Wales - an event you both supported before 3 seats became necessary.

    Jack

The 370 base models (with 18" wheels) come with a jack and spare wheel but as most in the UK are on 19" wheels you just get the Gel, a pump and nut wrench - sadly the way of the world with msot new cars these days. Yes the 350Z jack is perfectly sound for the 370. I have one that came from a G35 Infinity and works fine, but then I also have a 350 spacesaver as I was not prepared to risk being stranded and relying on a bottle of Gel, which I gather if used means the tyre cannot be repaired (if it otherwise could be) and you are in for a new tyre (and bottle of Gel) Got my jack by sending a
  9. I agree with you and have asked Admin to see if that is possible
  10. You youngsters are sooooo unreceptive to change
  11. Maybe do in Word (or whathaveyou) and with the 'more options' tab paste in here and add any pics, links and smilies before posting? You simply copy your draft and hit the appropriate paste option here and hey presto. That is what I do as I have had to many occasions of losing a draft (say, for when looking for a link) and having to start all over again. Suits me as someone who finds posting on this forum (and the previous one) that you could all too easily lose stuff with no 'undo/redo' facility or the like.
  12. I sense sarcasm. Getting warm  As Dave (Beavis) has been involved with the organization of more Wales meets than anyone else I think we can safely say he knows the form. The emphasis on getting rooms booked is because there are are limited number and some have been disappointed in previous years and the way the list is going for 2013 Wales it looks like that may well be the case again. And bear in mind quite a number do not need accommodation as they live local enough. The "running list" is the entry list and the reason we ask for confirmation of rooms being booked is that invariably some have to drop out for one reason or the other and we like to grab those rooms back for reserves before they go out on general release by Moreton. So you can rest easy now BBK
  13. More to the point, was it your old car
  14. Looking at that set-up that's all the energy your wind farms have generated used up then :1: Christmas bonus? - you're having a giraffe All I know is (and I suspect like most of the working population) Christmas is just an increasing money-pit, since stopped coming to my house.
  15. But beware of cheap spacers as well  http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/59626-brakes-are-now-super-smooth-again/page__hl__%2Bdiscs+%2Btophooker
  16. Yes I was going to include Colin but he couldn't even stand up I'd be fine drifting around you posers in one of these
  17. Mirrors caught my eye with the repeaters - good mod noting the front wing additions do not have the OEM repeaters. Would be good to see a few more pics of your car. In the meantime the only other pic I could quickly find was here http://106owners.co....Vuitton-Edition
  18. Mike The oil was supplied by Jez of Horsham Developments - it was actually a prize that I had one in the "Guess the weight" competition that Jez ran but I decided to donate to the prize list. So If Jez decided it was suitable and think we can all rest easy that it will be absolutely fine in your 370.
  19. Does get confusing - look at the tread pattern on the Sesstanas - pics taken from the front of the car - but they work extremely well
