A little bit of detective work on the thread should answer that question

Noisy Clutch - But only when pressing or releasing the clutch pedal
Ebized replied to kano's topic in 350Z General
That's more than a noisey bearing that is a common issue and nothing to worry about. With the mileage your ZED has covered it maybe a worn flywheel/clutch. -
I have a bad feeling it wouldn't pass - restricted egress in an emergency, aside from the which a tester may refuse to clamber around. Best to give the MOT station a call. See Chris'I's post above with the links that hopefully will help sort out the door issue.

Trust you still got the dipstick tied back clear of the belt -
What Nismo's Was going to keep them but overall opinion was that the more sculptured 370 OEM wheels did suit the car better and now they are being fitted to more and more 350's But no doubt, the 350 Nismo wheels remain one of the best there is for the 350, in my book.

Yes, but honestly the profile is wrong and (should be 40) and it will upset the handling/turn-in. Here is a 35 profile I tried - you can see just how 'lost' it looks in the arch and bear in mind that lowers the front end by some 20mm.

Great to have you on board Jim. But instead of being known as the forum Calendar Girl pehaps its time to be the forum Mountie

I smell an insurance naughty.....and having seen this last night: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/dispatches/4od More info here http://www.autovip.co.uk/news/?p=1277 If it were me, I would be seeking an independent expert opinion knowing that £16k is like plucking fiqures out of the air, and even if th car did need engine work, a rebuild is going to cost nowhere near that money.

Mazda 6 forum: http://forum.mazda6club.com/2-0-diesel/250915-dpf-issues-resolution.html Got this via the advertisment there: http://www.clickcarparts.co.uk/v/Mazda_6_2.0_2006/p/diesel_particulate_filters~13/232307/ And with a decent independent to fix surely isn't going to cost anywhere near £3k.

Just in case anyone want to know what ESD is........

What some people will do to get You Tube payments -
Zeds are true drivers' cars and awesome value for the money - not the cheapest car to do high mileages in so I understand that for those that have to its a drain on the pocket but having had 3 ZEDs over 7 years now the pure pleasure of the drive makes it all worthwhile for me. And we may not get the greatest manufacturer support but the support of fellow members and some excellent traders on here is second to none and that has led to some great friendships that makes ownership a real joy. And to back up the friendship side of things and noting some of the contributions above from current non-Zed owners who regularly stay in touch, the forum is clearly addictive to many and long may it stay that way.

I'm pretty sure ZMANALEX has at least one s/h 370 system ps: it wasn't mine

no its not, you just need to know your highway code, all built up areas with street lighting are 30 mph, unless sign posted otherwise. So basically street lights and no rounded means its 30mph. Its common knowledge and most people should learn it when they learn to drive. When you turn out of or into a street, both with lights and one you have been using is 40mph, it can be a very long time before you know you are actually now in a 30 zone, due to the absence of roundels in the stretch of road concerned.

Is this possibly one of the most ugly cars and paint jobs ever

Good pub kudos though - " I drive an Aston" I'm sure the look the OP got taking the pic was "damn paparazzi" -
Might just need the reset procedure - pinched from Steve's guide (and you need to remove the door card): "Wind window up right to the top without using the auto feature. Press and hold the motor reset switch located under the motor behind one of the stick on pads Lower the window to the very bottom, do not use the auto feature Release the reset switch Wind the window back to the top, do not use the auto feature"

Hopefully you will get it before October

Arrived safe and unbent this morning and some really great pics Thanks to all those who put hard work into this and contributed photos

Send me your wiring diagram of the 370 or I can send you a schematic diagram of how the unit is fitted and we can have a look!! Thanks. Spent a while this pm trying to find a wiring diagram for the 370 without success, but did get unwanted toolbar when trying to (unsuccessfully)download a service manual off a US 370 forum though . Have another go tomorrow, unless anyone on here can help out?
