  1. Presume you have factored in the Stillen that in itself is worth a "few hundred quid" ? Good time towards the end of the month to lean on the salesman who may be finding it difficult to hit targets at this time of year
  2. Right I think enough advice has been offered in answer to the OP's question. There are countless threads on here about which tyre is best for ZED and there will never be a consensus as so many factors can affect opinions. Irrespective of the tyres chosen it will always come back to how you exercise your right foot that will be the greater 'undoing' on the road. On that note the thread is closed
  3. Just to be clear - see Chris'I's post above, the HR engined 350 from the factory is 309BHP, not 313 that is the PS figure (quoted to confuse - which it has again ) I gather PS is the metric version of BHP (which is imperial based) hence why it is used by the industry and as it implies a greater power output than is the case so it is not surprising motor manufacturers will be quite happy to quote that.
  4. Only the rich and I wasn't one of them £30k in December 2009 for GUNs with 68 miles on the clock - effectively a £3k saving on list when it was a fight to get one, + I got over 50% residual on my previous 3 year old 350. Tempting, once I have seen the full spec and if the right offer was there.........opps quick post as I can hear the other 'alf coming to see what I'm up to
  5. Creepy - 3 year old thread raised from the ashes by a aptly named member
  6. Another review here witth some nice pics - perhaps the price might be more realistic........ http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-review/nissan/370z/first-drives/nissan-370z-nismo
  7. Have a good one Mike - you can have a day off from whipping us mods........!
  8. Had a rotten day myself dealing with trojans and pesky add-ons on the PC (all through trying to download, unsuccessfully, a service manual off a US 370 forum a few days ago ) so just reading this has really brought a smile back and a nice warm feeling - well done guys

    Help

You really do pick 'em dont you... After reading your thread about the guy that fitted your single disc, I would be thinking of using a reputable company to service your car from now on. You didnt get an invoice cause you paid cash, therefore no tax was involved. My advice to you is use a reputable garage, or even go to nissan from now on. I dont want to seem like a grinch but thats 2 posts about what could be dodgey worksmanship. Your only putting yourself at risk, and it will only cost you more in the long run. +1 - was it the same guy who did your brakes? You have joined a forum of ZED enthusiasts who up and down the country can point you in the right direction for quality work and parts so USE IT and even if that means traveling a fair distance otherwise your ZED experience could well turn into a complete disaster.
  10. There are several out there, and it was the Shine Amuse ones here that particularly caught my attention
  11. Sly of KaizerMotor (trader on here and ex HPC) has confirmed Munaros and GTRs have also been affected.
  12. I fitted them nearly 3 years ago form acros the pond, pre-painted. The rear ones don't do much as they only protect the area of the rear bumper that curves underneath and is out of sight. The front ones probably stop about 25% (a guess) of the stone damage along the sides, but that is not helped by the fact I have run spacers most of the time. The problem is the way the OEM skirts tuck under and I have certainly found they and the rear wheel arch are more prone to chipping than on the 350. Not one of the 370's best design features. A year ago I had the skirts re-painted because of the stone chips and the intention was to have them clear wrapped to help provide better protection. But then I saw aftermarket skirts that avoid the 'tuck-under', which I still intend to get. When I do I will dispense with the splash guards as the front ones won't fit anyway and the as said above the rears are more decoration.
  13. Hadn't spotted that - thanks Simon I'll pass that to Admin to do the necessary
  14. Thanks Chris - seeing your Coworth plenum you will have to do that next - see the one installed on Darren's car, with spit and polish by Wasso
  15. May I ask was that in situ and how did you do it? Ask that as there was some discussion at the recent Grasshopper meet about the best way to do that. And yes, your car is coming along very nicely In situ just removed the jdm cover and the hoses out of the way, would be easier if everything was removed I think but just required plenty of elbow grease ;-) A little more than elbow grease though........................? Dremel/hand tools/emery/metal polish etc?
  16. Sometimes as we do see posts starting along the lines: "I don't think this has been posted before having done a search...... " But whether that is true or they have only searched their memory storage. But I thought it was useful and just hope my memory reminds me to search out this thread for "How to", is another matter
  17. For the frequent reposters  http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/66844-how-to-avoid-reposting-a-youtube-video/ thanks to BBK - see, he has his assets

  19. The worry for me is that without the lock it makes theft easier for pros who use low-loaders or those possibly towing the car away, albeit the alarm may need disabling. And then there is also the consideration about the effect on the insurance cover............ something to consider. But as the key is still required to start the engine it is still relatively secure, hence why it is doubly important to make sure the key(s) are always kept safe.
