  1. Even on a brand new engine? Look at this way, motor manufacturers have nothing to gain not stipulating earlier services, in fact they and the dealers lose out. If they knew there was a risk of engine damage you can bet your life they would saying more frequent services were necessary. No harm done if you want to change more frequently and OK - if extreme driving conditions prevailed then a good idea, but given the OP is running-in his car by the book in good old Blighty then I think it would be money wasted quite honestly.
  2. Not necessary IMO - 9k miles on modern oils is no issue these days
  3. iplayer link here for those interested http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b018nn7l/A_Night_with_the_Stars/

  5. This has been raised before with the 350's and seems to affect those who, er, sit low in the seats, as being a lanky bugger I've never noticed it to be a problem.

  8. Hi James (think I remember you ) You haven't said whether its a man's 370 you want or a flappy one Have a look here for known issues: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/174-warranty-issues/
  9. +1 - good advice and knowing we have a few as members on here who share the passion for 350/370s. Quite understandable though that while they may read this type of thread, it is not something they may wish to comment uopon in a public forum. OP certainly did the right thing when pulled - with his luck I think I'll drop him pm for next weeks lottery ticket numbers!
  10. I'm not sure JDMs were ever produced in Ebisu - only Kuro? Anyone know for sure?

  14. As you are in Berkshire, you are far better off to get Jez at Horsham Developments to check your car out and do any alignment. http://www.h-dev.co.uk/index2.php?page=home Just anxious for you, having followed this thread, you don't go and waste money with somewhere that dosen't know what it is doing and what the likely issue(s) are to be causing your problem.

  19. http://www.350z-uk.c...estone-looming/ I was in first and I'm pulling rank and locking this thread Edit :Warning issued to Chris S vvvvvv for posting after locking Opps, better give myself a warning too
  20. You saying that see this thread: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/50960-warning-lights-appeared-during-spirited-driving/#entry761249 Reports back do say the fluid moving about in the reservoir can trigger the sensor that activates the warning lights you mention. Try topping up to the max and see if that cures it.
  21. Countdown to 1,000,000 posts............ At the current rate it is likely to be tomorrow I did press the team for a prize, but they just said it was a foregone conclusion that it would by SMD or BBK posting the magic number
  22. They were pressed into the arm by the garage. Said they had done it before and was reputable Jap place. Not sure what I can do if I am honest, can castor be checked through camber alignment? Given what else you have checked and Alex has seen I would be asking thge garage if they did fit the new bushes correctly as Alex has asked. Maybe asking in a way that teases out what they did in the fitting as although you say it was reputable Jap place they may not have had a 350 in before for that work? Only a suggestion..............
