Thanks for the information. As with other Nissan parts, I'm sure the dealer could have told me that if they had bothered to check. To be fair it was the guy in service I spoke to, and he probably hadn't spoken to the guy in parts. The bumper was ordered late Friday last week, so when it didn't turn up as he expected today, he probably gave me the worst case scenario. Should be in by Tomorrow or Thursday then. Have had to have a new front bumper ordered for my 370Z as dealer used the wrong template when fitting the parking sensors. The sensors were too close to the number plate assembly, which was being picked up as an obstacle. I've just been told the part will not be in for at least two weeks, but the dealership had no explanation for the delay. Does anyone know if this type of order has to come direct from Japan??

I heard the "building detail" function only worked in a very small number of areas - major cities etc. At least that is the case with the US 370Z Connect. I saw a You Tube video where the system showed the Sears Tower in Chicago, but only a couple of the other skyscrapers close by. The reviewer said it made the landscape look "Post Apocalyptic". IMHO, the Connect may not be as detailed as the Birdseye Google Earth type aerial views you get on the current BMW Sat Nav Pro, but it is superior to many other systems, some of which are fitted in cars costing 2 or 3 times the price of the 370Z.

I've got my 370Z roadster booked in with the local dealer to try and adjust the passenger window auto-drop, so that it doesn't catch the side of the roof. They seem confident it should be an easy job (adjustment, lubricating and maybe reprogramming the electronics to allow it to drop further and faster). I have noticed that if you push down on the glass when the door is open, it moves down a good centimetre or so. Has anyone had this adjustment done successfully yet, or is it a fault that cannot be rectified by a Nissan Dealer? Sorry to create a new post, but I'm not sure if anybody would pick this up if I added to the older posts. Many thanks!

Hi, do all 370Z models from 2010 (coupe and roadster) have automatic door locking at 15mph, or is it a feature that was added later. I've got hold of an on-line handbook and can't find any mention of this feature at all. Seems strange the car wouldn't have this as Nissan fit it to much cheaper models as standard. Thanks!

Hi, I want to protect the roof of my roadster from the worst elements of the weather this winter and wondered whether anyone has invested in an outdoor cover or half cover for their car? I'd prefer the half cover option, so I'm hoping somebody will be able to point me in the direction of a supplier. I know there are a lot of covers out there, but I can't find any specifically made for the roadster. I don't want to buy something that ends up too small, or miles too big, and isn't as weatherproof as the seller claims. Many thanks!
