  1. 41.31 in the Caterham was a good time Mark What about your 350 - did you give that a go on the Gymkana?

    Hot cop cars

Wrong thread Rothers - you should be in here http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/37074-bikes-the-awesome-kind-with-no-engines/
  3. So you are prepared to spend the money to upgrade the Zed from 8/10, when you could have a Boxster that you rate "considerably higher than the Zed" at 10/10 with probably less total capital outlay? And I thought Boxters were pretty bullet proof and you can of course have the hard top option Hope you will feel when you come back to ZED ownership that you have not chosen 2nd best, and we get Porsche this and Porsche that all over your build ZED thread.
  4. Thats your job as the new boy I assumed you'd be providing munchies from your luxury appointed Van He's waiting for business
  5. But if you are someone who has received goods via UPS in the past and used their tracking processes and are busy ordering stuff for Christmas on-line - having the heads up from Wasso is something I personally would rather have, than not.
  6. Dan, I'm curious. We know you are big Porsche fan and here ^^^^ you are extolling the virtues of the "old 2.5" Boxter, so quite why is another ZED on your shopping list when you could have Boxter for not much different money? Sorry it is a bit off topic, but can't let my puzzlement go on any longer.
  7. It's the only reasonable response. I couldn't even be arsed going down to spoil my ballot. +1 It will be interesting to hear what % of the voting slips were voided by those that took the trouble to "vote" .
  8. I expect I would be blase` about such things If I received 10 of these things a day and gratefully my email set-up (by someone expert in IT rather than me ) has kept such crap out of my business email along the lines mentioned in Wasso's post. But I for one (and believe it or not I'm just a few years off a 100 ) am glad to get the heads-up, just in case I got too blase` about my anti-virus software dealing wth this stuff.
  9. And ive done exactly that! Back when I was more reckless I was coming home from work once on my R1 and there was this car cruising along at 70mph in lane 4 on a 4 lane motorway. The inside 3 lanes were perfectly empty. After sitting behind this guy for a while I undertook him at err... a very reasonable speed... and on the back wheel. Sure enough all the lights and sirens came on and it was a unmarked cop car. He was not impressed. So im now parked up on the hard shoulder sitting in his car listening to him rant and rave at me thinking im looking at a sure ban here, when he gets an emergency call come through on his radio and tells me its my lucky day as he has to go to this emergency. Certainly taught me to look out more for unmarked cops and be a bit more patient at lane hoggers. Should have shouted out LANE HOGGER as he left
  10. If they are black they have been sprayed/powdercoated - they did not come OEM like that.
  11. You mean another to add to his collection
  12. what are you saying is strange with your fuel guage? If its the fact it's gone past the full mark - that was the same on both my previous 350's
  13. Be interested to hear the percentage of those who voted against the total number on your lists.........
  14. Really, really sorry to hear that - pride and joy gone and house trashed in the process, ****ing bastards :boxing: Thread moved from off-topic and pinned to help get peeps attention.
  15. I deliberately didn't generalise Chris, although I agree that unless you have worked with them the overall cluelessness portrayed undermines those that do have some commonsense and intellect.
  16. Result! Think you will find the cicuit is a much larger version of Knockhill with increased undulations - i.e. the American version - BIGGER Appears to offer good overtaking opportunities at two corners for the F1 guys - should give some good viewing EDIT: wasn't quite sure when I read the thread heading whether the spellchecker had got it wrong
  17. A big + one, utterly ridiculous - as much as I think a lot of politcians are a waste of space it should be left to Councillors in the areas concerned as they will know the ins and outs or what is required and more likely to have come across the candidates to know if they are likely to be any good.
  18. One for calendar man - nice pic.
  19. Very impressed with your approach to the 'incident' and foresight to take the hit on your pocket now rather than take the easy way out going through the insurance who would no doubt shaft you for the next 5 years in having to declare a claim. Good example of getting a repair done that I expect would have been treble what you have paid if you had made a claim. You have pm btw.
  20. That was a brilliant read and well done Steve and Mark for getting that result. Please post up nexts years events that you will be taking part in - I and expect many others would love to get along to give you some added support.
  21. I expect this has been highlighted before - but no smilies show up on my ipad 3 - only boxes in posts where thay have been used.
  22. from one Col to another Just them azure boys ganging up on you - Papa will be along soon to put them in their place
  23. Given that is pic taken from under the car and looking at the staining, the crack must be at the top then - see pic - or is the leak dropping onto those cooling fins from somewhere above?
