  1. For anyone who missed last nights show with Chris Hoy about Colin McRae, an hours worth that its well worth watching if motorsport and rallying in particular are your thing http://www.bbc.co.uk...ds_Colin_McRae/
  2. Yeah I got bored in the second half and went back to reading the latest F1 mag
  3. Can't disagree with that - oh, best colour/transmission choice BTW
  4. Best bit was the rallying Bentley Continental - awesome driving there by Chris Meeke And anyone recognize some of those Welsh roads that May was driving on
  5. Didn't know you had driven a 370 over an extended period and have to disagree on the 'drive' preference (both in factory spec) as I have found the 370 as "involving" as the 350. But I agree the 350 look is very special and better than the 370. Interesting that the body of opinion over a range of cars favours the originals (that I mostly agree with) but disagree with LFR4N about the look of the new Sciricco as I find that a real eye catcher. But how it drives compared to the earlier versions I have no idea.
  6. nah, the other orange one across the yard looks better
  7. Surely you got an awesome quad or wildcat lurking for times like that to keep up the next day deliveries. Or a husky team and sledge maybe
  8. Well I can see one of Mrs Keysers hands but not the other one - pure coincidence that Buster has the biggest grin then No posing from me - wouldn't want to put people off their food (Wales 2012 shirts)
  9. Can the R35 cope with that or is it just showgun time? Thanks for sharing the pics - I guess that's next years Christmas Cards sorted then, and good to go
  10. Ought to change the heading "Ricey - do not open this thread"
  11. I'm afraid that perception is quite wrong, Councils dictate the parking levels. Government has forced Council's to take measures to discourage private car ownership - particularly where new development will be in areas where there are good or reasonable public transport. Developers would far prefer to provide good parking because they know that in the main Joe Public will want it and that will help to sell houses/flats. We can all see new housing where there clearly is not sufficient parking, as simply put Joe Public do not want to give up on their cars. As a petrolhead, I have every sympathy with that starting point. All the parking restrctions are doing is fueling the prices of houses that do have off-street parking. (And helping to lead to th demise of the High Streets, but that is a seperate, albeit related issue.) In London some house owners are now renting out their surplus garages/parking spaces for mega money, not just to commuters but those neighbours nearby who are desperate. Situation is not helped in older established areas where housing was built before car ownership became the norm and no or little off-street parking was provided but yet it still attracts 2,3 or more cars per household. That is what led to my comment above ^^^^ that affects me and is widespread in most urban/suburban situations It bemuses me as a planner, all the emphasis on 'green' cars - yet they still have four wheels and a shell that needs space to park. My next mode of transport, as I'm buggered if I am risking life and limb on a 'bike' of any kind from too many tunnel vision drivers out there, is likely to be found here: http://www.segway.com/ Now what FI models do they have Not quite in need of a mobility scooter just yet
  12. That sucks..............so sorry to hear that Will. Credit to you for not totally blowing a fuse. Sadly it seems Rosie is getting too familiar with repair garages of one sort or another, so perhaps a nice shampoo and soak; nice rub down; a little bit of buffing up; some good waxing and special attention to her more intimate areas might get you 2 sharing more time together
  13. It never ceases to amaze me the number of people who buy houses but don't seem to take the parking restrictions into account and find they are competing with many others who have done the same.
  14. Sounds like you found your ZED's 'G' spot
  15. You sent your homework to the wrong forum
  16. Got to know your Dad well at the Wales drive having helped with the organizations previously. It was so sad to hear of his loss but I think he would be very pleased and proud to hear his family are making use of his ZED, rather than it being sold on. You never know, the ZED might find its own way round in Wales - mine does So you are very welcome Natalie and hope you enjoy the weekend
  17. Given that figures of £1200 for a fix were being quoted, over a grand off is a good result. That said, the number of failures does indicate a manufacturing fault affecting a quite a few Nissan vehicles that I would have hoped they would address more generously - even if that meant taken action against the supplier so the customer was not out of pocket.
  18. Here was mine - Brodit + o2 XDA in 2006 which I used for sat nav as you can see Less than £40 IIRC and included a charging lead (taken from cig lighter in passenger footwell) The double extension socket you can see in the pic also supplied the power for a snooper I use.
  19. Seeing that vid and looking at some of the others coming out from over the pond there are clearly either two specs or options - at least over there. In the vid ^^^ it does show the deeper dish (and nicer) Nismo wheels and red calipers for example - that is not featuring in other vids so much so will be interesting to see what spec we get as standard.
  20. See that post in front of yours.................... Then see here - better to check to see what 'offers' night be available now though http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/48066-vinyl-wrapping-offer/
  21. +1 - Best holders IMO I had the same on my 350 and now have one in the 370 clipped onto the A pillar
  22. I see Mrs Browns Boys won the comedy award - a good laugh - take a look at this one if you haven't seen any: http://www.bbc.co.uk...mmys_Inflation/
