  1. I'm sure you can compose one of your literary masterpieces to put the 'enemy' in their place.
  2. Biggest drawback with LHD, in my experience, is when you are on your own and arrive at form of controlled entrance (tolls/car parks etc) and either give yourself a hernia trying to reach across through the open passenger window or have to squeeze your way out and sprint round and back to pay the charges/get the ticket and get going before the barrier comes back down. Seriously, when it is pouring with rain you will curse it till the cows come home
  3. "Chesterfield area" he says ^^^^^^
  4. Yes, a few hardy regulars made the trip with me to Silverstone following the invite from DMS to the open pit lane track day there on the GP circuit. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/65100-dms-370z-project-dixcel-brake-dms-titanium-exhaust-nitron-custom-coiloveretc-and-more/#entry1009475 Was keen to see how the 370 with the shine/Amuse kit they have been preparing was coming on, and well it is an eye catcher and looked and sounded glorious on track. But there was also some othe rather nice motors there and and extremely well driven 350 (left-hooker) that has been significantly lightened and the speed ad noise it made even with just 300bhp was impressive. Anyways some picks to drool over - maybe some of the cars will not be everyones cup of tea but hope you like what you see Left to right - glrnet; will370z; Wasso; Ebized & Darren-B Frozen after just 20 minutes The 370 we came to see Dixon (of DMS) with his S2000 Almost bog standard 350 that came with the DMS group And the lightened 350 And some of the other cars - firstly that Mini Graham posted a pic of ^^^^^ but someone forgot to tell them the engine should go in the front Shame this did not go out on track Didn't know the V12 was exposed to the elements The DB9 that had the off - a few thousand to spend on that And some of my other favourites - have to say this Maser sounded absolutely glorious and its V10 and final pic of the new Wing pit complex - all mod cons - very impressed Hope you like
  5. I dunno, these honorary Z members who don't read the rules But I suppose you gold status does allow a little flexibility
  6. Good to see that anyone looking at your plates and wondering what it means knows where to find out....
  7. Go-pro sponsoring Lewis? http://www.planetf1....-office#photo=0
  8. Needs be - and that looks a good choice and from what I have read should be a quite good drive too
  9. I can let it run having seen the car myself but add the necessary pic as soon as, eh
  10. In which case this thread is locked
  11. Does not the absence of anything helpful to be found on a 350 forum that has by far the largest following in the UK, not tell you something.....................?
  12. Wiki is your friend Will - ask him
  13. Open your conversations - view all conversations and at the top of the list is a black bar with a box at the R/H end - click on that and it clicks all your conversations on that page. Click on the delete button at the bottom and that page is done - and then so on. You can unclick individulally those conversations you want to keep. Failing that, stop chatting - I know from the other 'alf though that is asking an awful lot
  14. +1, but lst time I saw it was at Silverstone in October 2009
  15. But what would they look like on a 370

Nissan stopped selling them here................. in 2010, IIRC
  17. Have a look at the 'relics' on the shelf in reception next time you visit Abbey Motorsport and ask Mark about about using the 'wrong' fuel. The ZEDs are 'mapped' from the factory to use 98+ in the UK, but that does not mean you can't use lower octane and indeed they can be mapped for that purpose. But experience has shown that the rev-up engines in particular seem susceptible to premature wear and high oil consumption, and regular use of non-super fuel has not helped. Have a look at what Mark says here (and floowing posts): http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/52658-another-engine-needed-2-blown-350zs-in-1-week/page__st__40__hl__detonation#entry782853
  18. Maybe add your location as you prefer not to ship Nice wheels BTW
  19. Named GUNS by others - can't think why.........
  20. My sig will give you a clue - originally I signed up as Blazed Somehow Stormwhitezed seemed too much of a mouthful
  21. You say you have recently bought the car - maybe the previous owner was, er, a little more gentle on the power and you are burning off some excess build up on the outside of the exhaust with it getting that much hotter. Also, you mention the extra heat in the cabin - footwell area I guess and again this would be the exhaust that runs close to the floor. You will also notice when the car door opens extra heat coming from the use of the air-conditioning - all quite normal. If it were the clutch you should be able to distinquish that smell from other 'burning'. But there is always the chance something has got caught on the exhaust (not unknown e.g. plastic bags), so check it out for peace of mind.
