  1. +1 If you mention where you are located someone can point you in th right specialist direction. Edit: OK checking back through your posts I see you are based near Skipton so if any member on here can advise a good local(ish) specialist where Gareth might like to get his car investgated further before an engine removal and strip?
  2. pm glrnet and ask him to put you on the reserve list - there are invariably some who have to drop out
  3. Post in the right section rather than 350 General, eh? It's not as though you are unfamiliar with off-topic stuff Moved.
  4. Only the first qualifying session held, loads of offs and sessions 2 & 3 tomorrow (5.15am on BBC) before the race. Did like Suzy Perry's arrival on the BBC show.....
  5. Useless posts deleted. Please refrain from turning yet another trader's thread into something for amusement.
  6. You might sell some of the replica kits when the s/h price of the 370 gets down to (say) sub £8k and it attracts more of those into modding (as we have seen with the 350's) or perhaps a bent one that needs front and rear bumpers, but otherwise......

    Tyre choice

Ultrac Sesstanas are being discontinued - although you can still get them, but as stock dwindles and you were unlucky enough to ruin a single tyre sometime down the line a direct replacement might become difficult, if not impossible, to source. And yes, you have read lots of opinions about which tyres to use and MPSS seem to get the biggest thumbs up, particularly by those I know on here like to push their ZEDs to limits, which is alwaya a good indicator, for me. That said, many others, including myself, have found other brands up to the job for normal road use and spirited driving. The more critcal factors from the years I have been reading members' findings, including some sad outcomes, is to have all 4 tyres the same; regularly check pressures and don't wait until you get down to the legal limit for replacements as the combination of + or - 300bhp/RWD/wet roads/and a leaden right foot will mean you will end up not facing the direction you had intended to travel.
  8. When you add on the cost of paint and fixing it does become a bit eye watering, so it is only going to bought by those with very deep pockets or those enthusiasts who will take the hit no matter what. In the current financial climate those owners are limited. So given the 370 has sold in far fewer numbers than the 350's, I suspect the writing you have have seen on the wall Chris about the potential number of kits you might sell is sadly going to be the case......
  9. Welcome to the forum and sounds like everything was meant to be with your purchase, and a stunning pic BTW.
  10. If you throw out a hook with bait........................... Sorry about that
  11. Jack - do let us know the outcome of this. And for your reassurance Jez and Zmanalex are two of the most experiened 350 specialists in the country so please, please don't take any more bullshit from that garage who did the butchery and sadly sound like a bunch of cowboys.
  12. I'm getting worried about you Doogy, or you planning your next holiday
  13. Chucked this out of the 370 sub forum
  14. I still feel the same with 7.5 years of ZED ownership
  15. Links to threads started by members that also include their experiences post the servicing/repair work of their 370s, will be put in here for quick reference. The list does NOT include work related to modifications - they can be found in the dedicated sub-forum. Listed alphabetically by team members so you can then check out feedback of dealers/independents that you may have in mind. Anyone who feels a link should be added that would be helpful to others please let me or another moderator know The list below does not pretend to identify good from bad - simply to list locations so those looking for servicing/repair work that other 370 owners have experienced. List below has been started today from feeback in this Servicing subforum. But any other links you feel should be added please post on this thread and they can be added to the list. Apologies that I may have missed some obvious candidates - but your help to track down relevant links is appreciated. It is quite likely we will see more that one link per garage as more info comes in. Please remember this relates to 370's only as the 350 sub-forum has its own dedicated area. 16. No way they won't include it - the connect premium package and now with rear camera is a definite 'must have' nowadays, for most.
  17. Thanks for that feedback. Will move this to the 370 section and like the 350 section create a 'good & bad dealer' thread that can be pinned.
