  1. Have you seen its look alike in this vid http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69594-for-those-who-like-sideways/ Going for the flashing light as well?
  2. Better order some porridge straight away Jim having seen the size and weight of 350 gearbox! Oats 'good to go' Alex? Looks like you could have a nice little sideline opportunity....lol
  3. And on topic - jump to 4.05 for the show-off
  4. There are a handful of reported problems, including my own box being changed at the end of the warranty - more as a precaution really due to an "uncharacteristic noise" that the garage and I could hear. Posted in here. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/60268-notchy-gearbox-and-clutch-issues/page__st__20 And see this section generally for more info that contains reported warranty problems with the boxes: http://www.350z-uk.c...arranty-issues/ but then we also saw a proportionate number of issues with the 350 box particularly surrounding the synchros. As we know, the box is less refined than say those in Porsches and the like and is even classed as "agricultural" in comparison, which I personally find adds to the drive and with the synchro-rev match it is a pure delight to use and is a revelation coming from 350 ownership. Both 350 and 370 boxes have been proven to cope with a lot of power and abuse without falling apart. So, from what I have seen and heard the failings are not a big issue IMHO, unlike the steering lock where there has clearly been a build fault to affect so many 370's around the world.
  5. Thanks buddy, it was off air for everybody during that time last night Corrected that for you Graham
  6. You might like to check out this thread - and particularly the post and pic by dedman http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69577-d1-spec-wheel-nut-destroyed/
  7. They can be anything between £650-£850 second hand. nice, mines going up in value then Especially as it is hardly run-in yet
  8. We believe it relates to 370's built from the start of production to sometime during 2010. Currently awaiting confirmation of the chassis numbers affected, so the advice you have been given could be quite right.
  9. If ever there was a case of pot and kettle, with you buying up ZEDS and the parts for them as though they are going out of fashion  But keep it up both of you I say, as its guys like you that the rest of us take inspiration, knowledge and enjoyment from
  10. I have changed from IE to Chrome recently because the recent IE updates just seem to screw up the the use of this forum. Chrome is not perfect BTW, but as someone who uses IT because you have to these days rather than likes to know all the techy stuff, it does seem better.
  11. Have a word with ChrisS. We had a dent repair guy come to the Wales weekend a couple of years back and he did an excellent job on a whole number of ZEDs on the Saturday for very, very reasonable money as we had arranged for a fair number of cars to be done all in the one place . Might be the time to get him back, if possible
  12. I gather there may be delay in part supplies so for those 370 owners who use forums they have the opportunity to get in quick before the 'rush' of those who choose to rely solely on notifications.
  13. Confirmed the recall news with Motorline Nissan at Tunbridge Wells after Will told me his news and mine is now booked in next week and if anyone else in the Surrey/Kent wants it done sooner rather than later ask for Ian Fraser at Motorline.
  14. I normally keep my rear hole covered up
  15. +1 as Will says ^^^^

  18. Tell us what you did for others' benefits - as you won't be the last
  19. This pic must have been posted a dozen times now on here Highway outside NY umpteen years ago. Thread locked.
  20. It's pinned in the the forced induction section http://www.350z-uk.c...rced-induction/
  21. Here you go Will - you have 'lift off'
  22. You mean these? http://www.350z-uk.c...build-projects/
  23. Thanks guys, and having made so many good mates on here over the the years and still being tolerated on here at my ripe old age, your good wishes are really appreciated. Had a little get-together of family and close friends on Friday (as so many would be Easter egg hunting today ), and just like to share with you what my youngest son's girlfriend made - some talent with cake making as a hobby at 21, eh? And choice of fruit, chocolate of sponge cake. I was gobsmacked to say the least If she ever chose to give up her day job can't see her cake order book being empty for long. Some couldn't help pointing out the balding old boy in the grandstand as bearing a strong resemblance to me though Note the Mclaren out front, even if not on the racing line
