  1. It should be, but look out for late 06 facelifts (296 bhp model) being sold with 08 or newer plates as they remained unsold when the HR engined ZEDs (309 bhp/31/3ps)) were introduced in in late 2006/early 2007. We have seen some caught out by that and dealers selling and not knowing (allegedly )
  2. This thread is going to be locked now as the seller has come forward but (a) is not a signed up trader and ( does not have a 100 quality posts as a member to sell. It would be unfair to others who would like to sell without meeting the forum rules, to let this continue thread continue. If anyone does have further interest in the car there is enough information to make contact with minde_smile.
  3. He might have to chop your strut brace into two to get it in his oven
  4. plonker! here you go to start with: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/68929-cheap-castrol-edge-5w302398-4-litres/ but do a search there is a wide choice of brands/prices Opie oils is good source
  5. If the dashboard light is on then you have deactivated the system (well not 100% but enough to know about it) Default is ESP off - it only deactivates if you manually operate the switch and yes it is likely to trigger the anti-slip light as well. Sounds to me that you most probably did not give the RWD traction enough respect on the r/b, but it might also be worn/poor tyres/pressures/wheel alignment that can make a ZED very sensitive

  7. We have found that dealer support varies widely - there are some which get the five stars but sadly they are few and far between. Even some of the HPC centres have been found wanting. Have a look here and you will see reports from members about the gearbox issues http://www.350z-uk.c...arranty-issues/ and then here about dealer feedback and feel free to add your experience about Desira in Norwich and Glyn Hopkins in Romford. http://www.350z-uk.c...es-370-related/
  8. Are you currently finding you hit periods when it takes an age for a page to load and then it is off with a gallop? Latest message from Chris'I (Admin) : I do have the archiver running every 3 mins, so if you hit it at the exact moment its doing that then it will hang until its finished then carry on as before. Small price to pay for now to get it done in a reasonable time. After the weekend it should be caught up and not be anywhere near as noticeable. Unfortunately I cant work out how to tell it to do it from a certain hour to another, else I'd just tell it to run say 2am-8am every day when the site is quiet. Certainly found today it is b getting better so hopefully after the weekend all will be well..........we hope
  9. Over the 8 years this forum has been live we have heard on here about more fitment issues associated with the K1 than probably all the other aftermarket exhausts put together. Yes, they maybe cheap and loud which appeals to some, but we have also then seen how many owners have got frustrated by poor fitment, or after a relatively short period of time find they simply can't live with the noise and sell on. Enough said?
  10. +1 with the oil change advice, and change the filter at the same time given how dark you said the oil looked. And keep your fingers crossed.
  11. Take it as compliment about the 350 styling. But then I remind myself, French build quality (from past experience), so not for me
  12. There have been several members on here who have required gearbox changes on their 370's, including mine. But in some cases its not always just the box, the clutch assemblies have also needed replacing. And when my box was changed it needed an adjustment on the shift plate that was restricting changes between 5-6 and back (that I had done elsewhere) so It makes me wonder if your garage do know what they are doing? If you let us know which garage it is quite likely someone on here will be able to confirm their ability, or otherwise...... . I think I had been you I would also have been pounding Nissan Customer Services door well before now.
  13. That makes no sense. If the the US and UK cars both have high number of steering lock failures there is clearly a common issue and yes, rather like we end up paying high prices compared to the States, Nissan may think we will be a soft touch on this kind of issue. Those who have followed the issue on the US forums will see that the recall came about due to a 'campaign' by 370 owners to get the result, so that should mean Nissan doing the honorable thing here, including refunding those who have already had to shell out for the repair.
  14. Recall that has been issued in the US 17-3-2013 So what is good for over the pond...............??????
  15. Nice A little opps or two at the end thrown in there too - hope that second one didn't hurt
  16. Some info here - although sadly no post about the outcome. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/15173-facelift-interior-parts-in-non-facelift-z-anyone-done-it/page__hl__facelift R35LEE probably has the most knowledge about this, if you can get hold of him.
  17. I'm sure several have done this and works fine and yes, pre and post facelifts have the 12v sockets in the passenger footwell. As you say just wiring changes and noting the facelft doorcards have illuminated cup holders (if you wanted illumination there).
  18. Keep us posted so we can see if Nissan/dealers are being consistent. But Nissan really ought to do a free replacement for all the affected models knowing there is a manufacturing weakness and could lead to owners being stranded.
