  1. More pics here http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/68162-a-little-run-out/ The guy who owns it is 20 and an Asian Formula Champion, and from chatting with him at Silverstone has some interesting developments coming along in the 'go' department but still wants to keep it as a useable road car. OK, the wrap may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it is certainly a head turner.

    Accident

So sorry to hear the news Daryl. Sounds awful, but credit to your efforts and preventing a bad situation getting even worse. Hope you, the car and the house are repaired quickly and easily and you are back to work, at an obviously important time for your employers.
  3. Better still, see if you can pick up some 18" wheels and tyres and you can then either flog the 17" that are sought after for winter use or keep them for that purpose yourself, all if money allows or course

FREE How did I miss that Address pmed in case you have two left please And another pint ready for you - hopefully may see you be at Wales weekend?
  5. Even darn sarf you don't expect to pay more that £100 per wheel.
  6. Much easier to plug an extension lead into the front one and route the lead with a double (or triple) socket to wherever it is convenient to you. I used velcro to hold the extension socket to the carpet on the tunnel that powered the phone charger and snooper and still use that principle in the 370 - works fine and is 90% out of sight. I did that for easy removal and no damage to the interior.
  7. Far too many ads are being submitted by members simply not reading the posting rules - we have even put them in red so they shouldn't be missed. Usual failings are: 1) Not enough quality posts relating to items for sale/swap (minimum is 15) to allow an ad to be posted in the first place. The rule for selling ZEDS is a minimum 100 quality posts and 6 months membership, set so that buyers can search history on here. 2) No pictures. (That is optional for selling ZEDS but frankly without pics you can forget a sale happening.) 3) Pictures, but with no username displayed on/by the item for sale. THE MOST COMMON FAILING The present forum software does not send auto messages when ads are disapproved. When we can we will pm the member about what is wrong but that depends on time availability and yes, when the same mistake is repeated or duplicate posts get sent in that will just be a wasted exercise. We do get the chancers and spammers who certainly will have wasted their time, as well as non-registered traders who may be offered trading rights on here if they appear to have something to offer that we think might be useful. But the message is READ THE RULES, before posting please. Very occasionally special circumstances may arise that may allow some rule flexibility, but should that happen always pm team members with those circumstances first rather than posting and hoping. Thank you.

  9. Do you wish to have more EoF or shall I lock it
  10. Good to hear things are looking a little brighter for you. Suppose one positive to come out of this for you Pete -you'll have plenty of logs/firewood for next winter...........or even this one that is never-ending!
  11. FTFY Dan - sorry to leave you off the list
  12. FTFY. Better start a list then 1) HaydnH 2) Ekona
  13. The horizontal tonneau was standard on UK supplied 350's, but not necessarily on imports.
  14. Topic moved and locked as the 'Yuk' has been removed so nutting to drool over
  15. That thought had crossed my mind and if Christian had ordered Vettel to stay behind (like Rosberg was ordered) I can't see his future would be looking too good at RB given the German ownership/funding and the thumbs down the team would get from the German public. Sadly you can't help feeling that Webber has no chance of winning a title with that team while Vettel is there.
  16. It is a shame CAT choose not extend their driving training opportunities to this forum as I am quite sure there are many on here who would jump at the chance, with other members from here who value a good social opportunity along with gaining some really valuable knowledge about driving ZEDS on the limit at some great venues.
  17. We plan it well - so it only takes 15 minutes or so
  18. Silly old fart er, cough.......he is 2 years younger than you Graham
  19. Shame the weather prevented an opportunity to attack the circuit. But then Spa has its own weather system even in summer.
  20. I think you have those smilies the wrong way round .........correction..........I know you have those smilies the wrong way round and so does Mr Evo.
  21. Looks the most promising answer, as another member - 'Storm White' also had an alarm issue, but she never let us know how (or if) it was cured before she sold it.
  22. I'm very happy with the switch, but I did go from a DE engined facelift to the 370. Before changing I had been scouring the ads for a fully Nismo equipped 350HR, having become confident about that engine and that unlike the DE version it could be modified (as known then) for 500bhp+ on the standard internals which was making me think that was something I could seriously consider with the budget I had. But lack of suitable cars and then having the opportunity to try a 370 in anger on track and then on the road, made me warm to it and a great trade-in deal offered at the time meant I signed on the dotted line for 'GUNS', and not regretted it for one day. And yes, I have to admit that my advancing years and not having a garage now means that working on cars is no longer the fun it was when I was younger. Do I regret the change? Not one bit, in fact I am likely to hang on to the 370 for some time, but who knows what the future holds............. Back to the OP's question, if I had had an HR engined 350 in 2009 it might have been a different story
  23. Looking forward to that - bet you were glad you were in a 4 x 4 though........
  24. Currently, (for 12 months) manuals are in Group L - £460, whilst autos are in Group M - £475
