  1. Excellent read and thanks for the forum support
  2. Welcome to the sixties Happy birthday mate. Have a great day Graham with lots of surprises......
  3. Dare I ask what Bob has done to your ZED for your birthday....... But hope you like it.............................. Birthday wishes from June and me though xx
  4. Another good reason +1 Shame she did not follow your example as it is inevitable such social media sites will result in outcomes that has befallen your daughter having no doubt felt peer pressure to sign up to - like so many others at all levels in our society. At the end of the day they are a businesses that have made billions for their creators, at the expense of many along the way. Do hope she learns from this to ensure her future career is not similarly set back.......
  5. Getting yourself a 370 for your birthday? Its about time Whatever, have a great day Jim
  6. Maybe this vvvvv or did you check it?
  7. Clean the other 3 and leave the new one dirty, and wait until after Christmas Cos, it's doubtful any normal cleaning will get close to what a refurb has done
  8. Somewhat harsh as those of us who have modified cars know all too well that is difficult enough to find a friendly insurance company/broker (in this world of computerized tickboxes) that fully understands 'modifications' and use their commonsense to quote something that is reasonable. So to find on renewal that there is competition out there that means we pay less is a real bonus. But perhaps your never-ending change of cars 'cos you kept buying duds has coloured your judgement as they are no doubt unmodified, which is what the vast majority of the insurance industry wants and hence you had greater choice.......
  9. Going to miss you on the drives Chris - you have been a great supporter on here and as others have said with one of the best Zeds around so the new owner has some big shoes to fill! Good to hear you are going to stick around.
  10. Yes, hope you have had a great day and been well and truly spoilt.
  11. Looks a very tidy example Brodit phone holders are your answer - clip on (no holes/glue) to the existing trim and worked fine me in my previous 350's that had no sat navs but used for that purpose, as well as calls. As fitted back in 2007:
  12. Does look the case, so perhaps she was making a point about your parking............
  13. And on the same day it also Kornercarver's birthday who has only posted once on here but at exactly twice Liam's age can make us all feel much younger . But happy b/d to you too
  14. Sarnie is only 35 years old but seems to have been around forever Hope you had a good one Liam
  15. As I am now running MPSS I have to say they are much noisier on most surfaces than the Sesstanas and just as noisey, if not more so than the Stones. That said, the grip is in a different league.
  16. I always thought you were a retired Jockey That explains it why Andy was always trying to jump on my back and whipping me at the Wales meet And you have had a grin ever since
  17. Complete the "Create Account" form and in he comes
  18. Still trying to work out what type of mule is carrying that load
  19. See here http://www.350z-uk.c...s/page__st__160 Good and bad reports from WLMG (in 350 servicing sub-forum) - seems we have another bad one at Mill Hill
  20. The part has not been replaced Dave Have a look on here Adrian for a Nissan dealer, hopefully not too far from you, who has done the work, and you can check if your car is one of the 925 affected. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/70110-370-steering-lock-issue-recall-action/page__hl__%20steering%20%20lock
  21. Taras received the recall letter but hasn't had a chance to book the car in. (read: he didn't give a flying duck taking the car to Nissan, but can't blame him after today, can I? :lol ) Then check if the lock has the update with 48700-JF00D number on it...........possibly carried out before Taras bought the car?
  22. "8. Front desk guy comes back to me, says the car has been thoroughly checked and it's absolutely fine, the parts number fitted correspond to what it should be, according to the recall" This implies your car's steering lock has already been changed as all they needed to do was to verify on their system the VIN number on your car that the driver noted down matched their (Nissan) records - have you asked Taras (former owner)?
  23. Fact is the majority of the Insurance companies do not have a clue what an uprev is and resort to the question about power increase, which less face it is why the majority of us have it done. Would they know if you didn't say you had one done? Maybe not, but as they ill do their best to avoid payments and they do find out it that it hasn't been declared following a claim that is your insurance voided, something I would not want with the subsequent consequences. Someone I know is employed in an insurance company to check this stuff and that includes what they find on public internet forums....so not declaring it is stupid, IMO.
  24. 4 wheel drive as well......
