If Fleet in Hampshire is not too far then a lot of us have been very pleased with TGM's work (mechanical and bodywork) http://www.tgmsport.co.uk/ Ask for Tom or his brother (forgot his name atm ) and mention this forum

Good to see opinions on the subject, but any more personal insults about other members/namecalling even if blocked by the filters, will result in this thread being locked and could lead to warnings being issued.

Have you tried seeing if it is one sensor (or more sensors) acting up, or is all 4? If the latter that is likely to be the control box but if the elimination process reveals it is not all the sensors acting up, maybe a bit of cleaning up might do the job or by swopping over the sensors (on my previous ZED I could do that) it helps establish if it is one of the leads from the control box that is faulty - which is what I found to be the problem I had.

From what you have said (and not said) before the need for this thread, I assume you noticed no issues with oil pressure before? You have not mentioned when the engine oil was last changed - do you know how many miles the car has done since the last change? You mention the car was on an incline. Given the subsequent erractic readings and the fact no pressure was showing and oil light showed when you first started it I would guess it is a combination of low(ish) oil level; the incline, the cold and old/thick oil meant the pump was starved. Normally when oil is thick and cold and the engine is started the pressure can shoot up well over 100psi. But you then had readings on the move but somewhat erractic making me think that your engine oil is past its best and that is hoping there is no problem with the pump. But you really ought to take the advice above and fully drain what is in there and measure whhat comes out fro reference and I would say, in your case, have an angine flush and then fill up with correct new oil. And bear in mind that if you do have a rev-up engine they are more prone to high oil consumption, so it is even more important to regularly check the oil level. As a rule of thumb, if the light comes on with normal driving it is more often than not a signal some damage is likely to have been done. I'm just hoping in your case that the initial problem was the incline/cold/old oil that triggered the light and fingers crossed no lasting harm has been done. Good luck

Put up a link to it. No you haven't.....

Have to pass this to Admin as I can't see a way of changing from public to private

Thanks Colin ... I think I also made a mistake by allowing everyone to see who's voted where ... can you fix this please? As far as I can see everyone can opt to see the votes casted but not by whom I can see who's voted where Do you mean you see more than this (also shows the % in horizontal bars that do not copy and paste)? I am Scottish and I think Scotland leaving the UK is a BAD idea (3 votes [15.79%] - View) I am Scottish and I think Scotland leaving the UK is a GOOD idea (2 votes [10.53%] - View) I am Scottish I don't really care about it (0 votes [0.00%]) I am NOT Scottish and I think Scotland leaving the UK is a BAD idea (9 votes [47.37%] - View) I am NOT Scottish and I think Scotland leaving the UK is a GOOD idea (1 votes [5.26%] - View) I am NOT Scottish I don't really care about it (4 votes [21.05%] - View)

If the poll was changed it all goes back to zero - but should allow those who previously voted another go. If not, will have to get Admin on the case, or just start again.

Corrected that for you Graham........

Hey Al - looks like we have some more spammers ^^^^ More seriously, as Mods can't be around 24 hours and many come on from time zones when we are snoozing we do value reports of potential spammers as we all get email notifications of those, so usually a Mod can deal with it as soon as.

Bonnet paint bubbling is a known issue and there has been successful warranty claims - e.g. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/55556-perforation-warranty-success-beforeafter-pics/page__hl__bonnet Doubt the rear wing would be covered though given what you say about previous repair work, unless it was done by a Nissan dealer perhaps......

Have you been to a HPC dealer? If not, then I would advise you go to one for another opinion. Otherwise, if you post up your location I'm sure someone on here will be able to point you in the direction of a suitable dealer or specialist independent as I'm afraid we have heard dealers diagnostics are not always sound. -
Anybody fancy a closed rally at Brands on the 12th Jan ?.

Hmmmmm... could be tempted to go to this. -
Good explanation as I was going to say the slower speeds you are doing the slower the shifts and make it a 2 stage action rather than a more aggressive shift that you would do under hard acceleration. And of course the trait mentioned by others ^^^^^ will be that that much more noticeable until the gearbox oil has fully warmed up. I also find the synchro rev will help the upshift when in slow moving traffic and the road speed has dropped below the engine 'speed', something that I have found helps makes the changes just a little easier with the 370 compared to the previous 350s.

No one was suggesting that Graham - we know you well enough that it would be a lot more than 1 and yes, you were seeing things -
Happy New Year everyone

Means you now have to add to the steering input. But just wait to you get on some o your favourite roads in the dry and feel the inputs and feed back through the seat of your pants - then you will know why so many of us have stuck with ZEDs for many years

No.1 UK 350/370 forum that is free and does not need to solicit new members and fair to say, well supported by Traders who keep the site going, no doubt encouraged by relatively low fees so everyone involved is a winner!

As you are new to the forum you may not have picked up that ZEDS are prone to misting up, particularly in wet weather conditions, and using the air con should help to overcome the problem. Just wind the heat setting up if necessary. The handbook sets out what you should do. Maybe you would like to post up an introduction about you and your car? http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/7-introductions-welcome-messages/

Only useful I would think if the engine is never worked hard to help to help clear up deposits that build up that are otherwise dissipated in engines that regularly get up to optimum temperatures.

Hope you are having a great day

Good idea - pinned as suggested. This FAQ might help those struggling with offsets: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/56720-wheel-offsets-for-dummies/
