  1. Taras suggested I clear wrapped the skirts if I get them reprinted......again, to stop the chipping. Think he said there is some new stuff on the market that is resistant to most stone chips, so if it were me I would have the black bits wrapped.
  2. You sure that is not you, as I have wondered what made you choose your username .....
  3. +1 Doubt you will get better at the price and his Zed knowledge means you will not be messed about.
  4. Looking forward to seeing the pics of that trip - sounds brilliant
  5. So who has Z shoes Are you going to paint the whole car in the OEM pearl (bar the black bits) or continue with the present paint finish?
  6. Ebized

    HFC spacers

Quality service is priceless but then Daryl will know that working at RB

  8. Useful pic of fuses concerned. http://forums.nicocl...se-t501025.html But maybe this might be your issue - relay fuse? http://my350z.com/fo...light-fuse.html
  9. Sounds like a loose or poor connection then or maybe the switch itself is playing up. If it were me I would tempted to try some silicone spray around the swtich, as carefully as possible before taking things apart.
  10. Is the set indicator light blinking? If you haven't done so I would suggest you have a look at the handook instructions - page 5-16 (for a 2006 model).
  11. Silly It's the Kentucky Funeral Crematorium, of course
  12. Certainly a known issue - Will370Z had this with his 370. Kinda think that in the design they did not leave enough tolerance for the movement and the setting is critical. Have to say mine has been OK but only by thickness of a fag paper
  13. Hmmmmm........might look nice but as they are fixed rather than turning with the wheel I would be a bit concerned about hitting my fingers/knuckles on the sharp pointed bits, but of course if you like shuffle shift the steering that would be OK
  14. Given its your fault and the other guy will be making a claim for his repair just let the insurance companies sought it out and stomp up the £350 as I would expect you will be looking for more than that for both cars, even if were done privately. Unfortunate, but hey, you have come clean so credit for that and even better if your' no-claims' is protected?
  15. The worst issue is reaching the car park entry tickets if you are your own
  16. You might like to consider your own thread with this as a) your post is likely to get lost amongst all the comments about the Lake Z meet and you are likely to attract a wider audience - i.e. those who have decided the LakeZ meet is not something they can do and may not be loking at this thread but would still wish to sponsor you. Easy enough to copy and paste into a new thread. Oh, and donation made - well done you and good luck
  17. The Stratstone dealer with the car have been informed - wait to see if the details get changed but I see the price has been dropped some £400...... Hate to see anyone buying something it is not but if they do and come on here then we have a record of the mis-selling. £13,766 Nissan 350Z 3.5 V6 313 3dr Call dealer now (01332) 524331 Key facts 2009 Petrol Coupe Manual 21245 miles Blue Pearl, Call 01332 524331, **LOW MILEAGE**, Alloy Wheels 18", Full Leather, Air Conditioning, Airbags, Alarm, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), CD Autochanger, Cruise Control, Electric Folding Door Mirrors, Electric Front Windows, Electric Seats, Full Service History, Headlamp Power Wash, Heated Front Seats, Immobiliser, Multi function steering wheel, Power Assisted Steering (PAS), Remote Central Locking, Sports Seats. £13,766
  18. That's a auto JDM, on a 10 plate. HOW MUCH... The ad implies it was made in 2008 And must have cost a small fortune to import in 2010.....
  19. ^^^ - here is a list - see post #50 (and posts after) http://www.350z-uk.c...ns/page__st__40 If you someone near to you - try a pm
  20. Really ?? I suppose it's in place of the Bose sub in the GT's ?? Here is mine: (you need to get hold of a jack+handle and I carry the torque wrench anyway for regular checks - especially on our drives )
  21. Feeling your pain - have you seen this thread and in particular the advice from Kaizer and Zmanalex, as I can't help feeling an air lock is your problem given the info you have provided? http://www.350z-uk.c...ix#entry1035578
  22. er......it says: This item does not fit 350 Z.
  23. Another dealer who relies solely on the registration date rather than looking at the actual model it is so £14+ grand for a 2006 rev-up is just a wee bit on the steep side
