  1. er...............more than double that age but ain't got a clue what mevis bell tyres are
  2. Anyone got a houseboat I can buy
  3. Do you not have breakdown cover? Seriously, you really ought not to risk driving now you have seen a front caliper leaking the fluid - think of the potential consequences should you have an accident because your brakes failed
  4. From a whole host of reasons to very few, we are spoilt for choice when buyng cars but whether any one of them ever ticks all the boxes and is within budget, is a utopia I have yet to achieve. Any number of reasons lead to cars we choose. I recall a friend who got really irritated by a neighbour who copied his every car purchase (4 at the last count) - keeping up with the 'Jones' taken to the extreme, but what a stupid justification (I would not expect anyone on here would think that is a sensible reason!) But I do understand where Sipar is coming from and judging by the number of former ZED owners who come back on here to buy another after trying other cars indicates the 350/370 have that something that continues to appeal. No doubt Porsche forums and any other one-make/model forums will see the same. But when I look at the option list of alternative cars any number look promising and I have absolutely no doubt there are many I might enjoy as much, if not more than the 370. But you know what, I can't be arsed to try them all (even if I could) as I am happy with the driving and ownership experience of the 370 to be satisfied with what I have got. And although I could go out and buy a 370 Nismo I personally really can't justify another £20k or so for that upgrade, particularly when it offers no more power than GUNS currently has. Now if it came with 400bhp+...... Also, and in no small measure, the forum adds to the pleasure and moreover has led to many new friendships making drives and meets that more rewarding and whilst the purists might say that is not a good reason for sticking with the 370 it's a dam hard reason, for me, to let go now!
  5. I thought this would come up eventually, lol I know that 99.9% of my questions I ask on here have probably been both asked and answered before, but being new to the community I like engaging and chatting with people about it. Sad I'm sure. I appreciate the help and answers I get from you guys and would rather communicate directly with people in any given subject than just type something into a search bar. Isn't that what Google is for? If my post about something infuriates then I apologise, but I'm just a new member trying to find stuff out and enjoy a natter lol Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk Darren, you're absolutely right to ask questions, please don't ever think you shouldn't. As a new owner you're bound to want a bit of advice, a bit of reassurance to help the right decisions or just get some feedback. We're just sometimes a bit grumpy, that's all Well said and as much as we encourage the use of the search function it is not perfect as much depends on the thread heading to get the answers being sought. Lost count the number of times I know a subject has been answered before but trying to find it is often the proverbial needle in......
  6. Are you sure the passenger window is not locked on the drivers side - it would not be the first time that has been the 'problem'! As Will says ^^^ about the headlight washers - won't work without the headlights on.
  7. Seems like you are losing fluid - I would consider a 'breakdown' journey back to jez given something might suddenly let go, but give him a ring to see what he suggests.
  8. All the 370 models here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_370Z

  15. An excellent choice, but then I would say that
  16. As a pro trader you should set up your own sub forum so that you do not need to seek approval each time you have something to sell. You did mention this intention a while back, so finger out!
  17. Wrong! and we are not telling so you can waste your time guessing all you like But any more on this thread will be deleted (never used that smilie before )

  22. So long ago I can't remember which decade was the best for me, but bloody hell I'm enjoying near-on a decade of 350/370 ownership that certainly wasn't around in my thirties
  23. Someone will get a very nice HR engined and cared for 350 if they buy this car, having seen it at meets/drives.
