  1. Click on "Tophooker's" signature on page 1 ^^^ - all the answers about what Marcus does and where he is are there. As I suggested, call or pm him
  2. Cooling issues reminds me of what ZMANALEX found with his TT (Skip to post No.37 and see his signature pics with the 'through flow ventilation') http://www.350z-uk.c...cooling__st__20
  3. Wasnt this a private sale? yes In which case I would definitely recommend that the OP chats with/pms Tophooker. He is used by Nissan HPC dealers (and others) which says enough about his workmanship.
  4. Never been convinced about that reason as I found the 370 rear wheels fit fine on the front (I've tested in the event of an emergency) What it was useful for though was taking the disc off the hub - just remove the sleeve and then screw in the bolt that will separate the disc from the hub Otherwise, removing it completely is no issue. Just what I read Colin and I cant think of any other reason, you did try the wheel without your spacer and with the stud in ? off 370z.com "I began with removing the front wheel, and then removing the "idiot bolt" on the rotor that prevents you from mounting the rear wheel to the front of the car. I forgot to take pictures of the removal of the caliper, but the DIY on this forum is great." "It just unscrews. It's there so u don't accidentally put a rear wheel on the front." "That bolt is not needed. It is there to prevent some unknowing person from putting the back wheels on the front." agree it can help to remove the disc but why would the rear not have one if that was it's purpose ? Not sure if the US 350/370 specs may be something to do with it noting the US forum you link to, but in answer to your query GUNs was driven around on a parking area on full locks trying a rear wheel bolted direct to the hub to make sure there would be no rubbing etc in the event it were used. See reasoning for using a rear wheel on the front here: http://www.350z-uk.c...ge__hl__spacers
  5. What you are describing is exactly the issue I had and tried the bedding-in procedure, replacement pads and discs and the problem came back. As Marcus (Tophooker) says, you need to find the cause of the problem or like me you end up throwing money at what might be the obviuos only to find it is only a temporary fix. My Zed was transformed - see here: http://www.350z-uk.c...page__hl__discs Seriously, If the supplying garage does not agree to sorting (and doubt they would do what should be done) I would bite the bullet and make arrangements to let Marcus sort it for you - maybe a meet up that somewhere mutually agreeable. At least you will enjoy the trip home

  7. Yep, does work but without even having the type option available in the 'more reply option' it's like to learning morse code (lol smilie)
  8. Smilies won't work for on the ipad for me either so its not the Spanish sun keeping yours in the shade. Strange thing is though you can see the smilies in others posts
  9. Hi TB - hope the sun tan is coming on nicely - our webbed feet are here.......... Wow, that was lucky about your return - I've not long moved out of Surrey (only kidding)
  10. Another supurb paint job by Willy at TGM and knowing just how difficult it is to colour match our cars, especially the Azure. The new rear spolier added that something special to your car, but this is the icing on the cake!
  11. Undoubtedly one of the best Zeds in the country and now (somewhat sadly) the subject of one of the best ads we have had the pleasure to see on the forum. Neil: We have enjoyed some great drives together and knowing your car I can vouch for everything you have said about it so whoever is lucky enough to buy the car will be a very lucky person indeed. And given the mods and money you have spent on the car the only surprise is the almost 'giveaway' price you are asking for a truly outstanding example. And good luck for the future but do hope you will stick around on here
  12. Will is good at attracting Mods, so won't be long Jut for clarification, change of user/display name is something Admin has to do (guys in red), rather than us 'greenies'.
  13. Caption competition time..... "I told Darren-B it didn't need a S/C " Sent from the golf club... Now can ChrisS outdo that................
  14. If you have given it some beans then the clutch is letting you know Certainly a long life for a clutch, IF IT IS ORIGINAL, but do the usual check low speed/high gear and see if the engine starts to rev more than speed increasing (if that makes sense)
  15. As Keyser says ^^^^ are you sure it is rubber you are smelling and the not the clutch, as that pic is not revealing anything to suggest the tyre is rubbing etc and seen a lot worse after track sessions?
  16. I will keep up when I see something that works consistently, but given the issues we see with tapatalk posts on here and we try to make sense of some them I don't want to add to the other mods workload
  17. I hope that is the tread not coming away from the carcass I see so many issues with tapatalk I don't use it so have to let someone else help you out there with pics.
  18. Don't think that is a hanging wire but a twig on the ground.......and yes the bumpers invariably appear as a different colour and Azure is one that tends to show it more than most.
  19. What do you mean by outer wear showing? I think some pics will help us to help you
  20. errrr......Macklins will have you down as a gearbox wrecker
