Hi mate, is this still for sale?

Hi guys, last time I serviced my 350 I noticed a small wire had broken off my alternator. I first thought this was an earth, however I have now found out (the hard way!) that it's a 12v line to/from the battery. Does anyone have a clue what this does and if I am likely to see any faults occur due to it hanging off? I have recently had 2 coilpacks fail on the same cylinder and wondered if this may have something to do with it? Earth was reading a nice low resistance, but cleaned up anyway. Hoping I haven't got a wiring fault further down the line and that it's just a coincidence or maybe this wire caused it. Pics of the wire below. Cheers, Chris.

Goodyear Eagle F1's are a good alternative. I've got the Asymmetric 2's on the rear which have been brilliant. Great grip, wet and dry. Just had the Asy 3's on the front and 200 miles in, they seem better still! Paid £117 a piece for the fronts 225/45/18

I thought they were standard on the GT pack too. And yes they're 225 front/245 rear. They are very light yes!

Hi guys, following a recent change in wheels on my car I am selling my old Rays. They are in reasonable condition, however they would benefit from a refurb if you were putting them on a mint car. They have general curbing as you would expect from 10 years of use. There are a couple of patches on the spokes that have started to oxidise, however they come up well after a wash and look good on the car! I have given them a good wash and they are currently in my garage under a dust sheet so they are ready for collection at any point. I would prefer collection from my house, however a courier could be arranged at the buyers expense. I am asking for £350 ONO collection from Albrighton, Wolverhampton Any questions, please ask. I'm after an air con condenser in good condition

A full set of DBA T2 discs and hawks pads was ordered yesterday and turned up today. Great to deal with and very helpful as usual. Thanks guys!

Oh no...! That's bad news lol. I think I'll give it a wipe and see what it's like in a few hundred miles. Hope Alex is right and it doesn't need doing!

Cool thanks, just wondered if it was a common place for the zed to leak. Is it a big job to change this gasket? Would be a convenient time for me to do it as I have an oil change coming up

Was inspecting my car earlier and found a small leak from what I think is the sump? Can any forum experts confirm if this is normal and whether it is the sump or block?

Okay cheers for the advice chaps. They were on the car already, but that is the pattern yes tophooker (lol) However they were fine before I had to brake hard from a very spirited speed! They still bite well, but the juddering and cracks/dark spots are just a bit worrying

Hi guys, I'm looking at getting new front brakes, but I just want to make sure I definitely need them first. Not sure if I may be able to get away with a skim instead. The symptoms I am getting: -High speed braking - steering wheel wobble and car vibrates mildly. -Low speed braking - slower pulsating feeling through the pedal and car comes to a stop 'unevenly' if that makes sense. -Any speed, NOT braking - a quiet tap from the disc on every rotation, sounds similar to having a stone stuck in your tyre. I have also got some unusual wear on the disc so have taken these pictures to show. The pads have life in them and so do the discs...see what you think
