  1. I didnt mean that at all Jetpilot, youve misunderstood ms. Its biased because theres lots of stories about how men have been treated and none vise versa, because my point stands, there are more fellas then females on here! Im sure Nixy has some stories to tell that are equally bad!
  2. I think thats half the reason Nixy, it will predominantly feel biased and one sided because the majority here are guys, because thats the nature of our passion. You're in the minority because you're female, however thats definitely nothing to be grumbled about, we need more female car lovers like yourself! Lets be honest if this was a female forum the tables would be reversed! I dont know you personally, hell I dont actually know anyone on here personally yet because ive not been to a single meet, but I can safely say its not personal nor is this aimed at brandishing all with the same brush. We've all been through the mill relationship wise one way or another, and im not denying for a second that guys arnt as bad, because they are and thats just an out and out lie. Everyday visitor or not, we're all part of the same great hobby and thats 350s!
  3. Unfortunately nowhereboy some of us did get to read that before the edit Honestly I get everything youve said, and while I understand and did exactly the same, it needs to stop, NOW. That type of over analysing only thickens the fog completely, when in reality she sounded pretty damaged in the way that she treated people. While admirable what you did for her little boy, you arnt his Dad and to expect so much of you early on is not fair. It takes time. I fell into this trap too and getting out is like dragging your nuts over razors. Just let it go, it wasnt you that was the issue. If you were all the things you said she'd of never entertained you.
  4. South coast dude, about 17 miles from Brighton so this is right on my doorstep lol. Its currently at rear bumper, boot lid, spoiler and front bumper..
  5. Over 12 hours apparently... Ill be getting mine done at Abbey at some point...
  6. Getting mighty close and I still need to find a bodyshop to spray everything...
  7. Nissan quoted me £2200 for the full timing chain works...
  8. Will never understand how people think that type of behaviour is acceptable, and to treat someone like that is just straight up savage. Why I've been single for two years now!
  9. As said, mines front lip. Check my thread aswel as I had one before I stupidly sold it
  10. Everything gets pi**ed by lowering hence why you need a geo afterwards. But theres only so much the standard suspension will give you before you stress it out. A 30mm drop is quite a drop, buddy of my ruined his Z by doing 30mm. Drove awfully and squeaked and clattered down the road
  11. Id say it definitely couldn't hurt to get some camber arms. My old Honda was on the floor however it had a full suspension set up, camber arms, toe arms and the tyres looked as good as the day it was done. Ive read that with anything over 20mm they start to struggle alignment wise. Why put all that extra stress on your joints Do it right first time, do it once.
  12. Before Docwra has a meltdown, id like to jump on his drum set by saying its a possibility that you have padd transference, which is a build up of residue from padd to disk, typically from sitting with your foot on the brake after coming to a stop. Ive had this recently and suffered an audible clonk under braking and pulsing through the pedal. The car had recently been in the garage so I think they took it out for a "roadtest" and gave it a kicking I took all padds out and roughed up the faces and disk with sandpaper, before cleaning it all with brake cleaner. Once reassembled and under advice from Ekona, I went on to do rebedding in, which went something like this 5 x 50-30mph light stops 5 x 50-0mph medium stops And on a private road obviously 5 x 100-0mph hard without ABS stops This cured my problem albeit with a stack load of dust after the run! To warp a disk you have to be going like bat out hell. For the sake of the thread I have MTEC drilled and grooved disks with normal Brembo padds, HELL braided lines and dot 5.1 blue fluid. Squeaky around town but stop very well and when hot even better
  13. Your pictures are terrible Id go and sit in the corner and think about what youve done! Showing no decent side shots, blasphemy! Although, you've made me want a set. Well played Sir
  14. I cant wait for the new DE DRLs. Then ill get excited
  15. Having spoken with Frank alot (black 350z) I personally feel his Z is an absolute gem. Genuinely a down to earth fella with nothing but time for the community wherever people are from. Both are stunning imo
  16. I was 24 when I bought mine, 26 this year. Alot older then my time, my hobbies include bourbon, cigars, slippers and yelling at kids to get off my front garden
  17. Ive noticed a big jump in younger Z owners lately, specifically from all the insurance questions haha. I thought I was one of the younger ones at 24! It'll get worse before it gets better though. Still, means cheaper parts for a while!
  18. Once the insurance drops and the younger lot get them and start stancing them with cut springs and driving them into trees, thats when the values will start to rise. Seems to be the way with most Japanese vehicles, they become desirable before being ruined and then making a comeback as the rarity of looked after cars increases. Much like Integra DC2s, there value as jumped easily a good 3 grand in the last year
  19. Aye. I finally ended it with my ex when I found out two fellas had been around the week before, at the same time. And it wasnt to help with the plumbing. Its going to happen dude. As we've all said, you are the most important one in your life. And although its not what you want, theres nothing to stop you meeting someone else. As ulrton would say " There are no strings on me"
  20. There was a guy after these in the wanted section dude, might be worth a look
  21. Dude... 12 days is a drop in the ocean... Like do not be sitting there clockwatching. Just get on with it, you dont need to be making ultimatums. Leave her to do her thing, you do yours. Trust us on this.
  22. Yes you can. And its literally a straight 50/50. They could come on in 1 mile, 1000 or never. They could come on once and be reset like mine were and so far so good. Its pott luck and mapping them out is the only answer As for difficulty, adding spacers can be really easy and really difficult. If you're lucky they'll unscrew from the cat with a 24mm spanner, if you're unlucky they'll be well stuck in there and you'll need 02 sockets and a long breaker bar, even then they may still not come undone. When you think of the heat cycles they go through its not surprising. Best of luck!
