  1. Hardly ideal Davey. You know that
  2. Then unless you get a sparky to wire you up a loom im afraid you wont be able to change there positioning
  3. Mines in the bodyshop too bud, I know the pain and excitement of waiting for it to come out! Liking the bonnet struts, may have to track me down a set! Do like a red Zed
  4. Looking awesome buddy! The azure blue is so nice. Just how noisy are the fans then?
  5. Tyres are one of those things to not be scimped on IMO. They are the first and last thing connecting you to the road buddy. Its a good idea to do some research for your own peace of mind, as various different brands have different side wall strengths, compound and how long they last under normal driving conditions. I personally run the Hankook V12s and have no complaints about them at all. All tyres will have ratings on them, very similar to your electrical appliances rated from A - E for wet grip, fuel economy and road noise
  6. End of the day its much of a muchness whether its N1, V3 D2 C3P0 :|
  7. So little update, we have a N1 front bumper! Was dropped down the bodyshop on Tuesday. Looking forward to purchasing the revised preface DRLs from Torqen which will round the front end off nicely! Getting nervous about Incarnation now.... Also decided to smooth the front emblem off, should look tasty! More when I get updates
  8. If we have weather like we have been down south, its going to be absolutely glorious. Sat in the garden right now with a corona praying its good
  9. Have to agree with Dan on this, any alignment place worth its salt will listen to what you want. Theres a place locally to me called Hunter performance who have done all my car, specifically a full fast road set up on my Honda. Once dialled it was glorious As for camber, Id be looking more at the compounds of the trye. All are different and will react differently. I had T1Rs on the Honda and it gripped like poo to a shovel, but wore out quickly. One suggestion I'd make is have the tyres filled with nitrogen instead of air. Doesnt react anywhere near as air to temperature changes, and IMO provided a much firmer but smoother ride. Well worth the 12 quid it cost!
  10. The wiring wasnt there on my pals fairlady when we swapped his cloth seats for leather.
  11. Another vote for redoing the braking in procedure, had this a while ago! A good late night run up and down duel carriageway cured it, no more vibrations or clonks
  12. Problem he'll have is its very unlikely he'll have the loom to adjust them. So when he refits them they'll be in exactly the same position as they were removed, which will probably be too far forward!
  13. The manifold bolts can be deceptive, mine looked awful but a couple days spraying and then a good run before hand and they came off easily. I found that on mine only one was threaded into the manifold, the other two (4 total) came completely out. Had the same issue with cat bolts and ended up angle grinding them out, you'll be much better off with a new system chap
  14. The mental image was strong there haha. Hope all goes well buddy
  15. Please fit those facelift front lights haha. Or sell them to me!
  16. I know the new owner of this and he literally cannot wait to pick it up!
  17. Not sure why you're putting "just a remap" in quotes since I never claimed that. If you're agreeing that they are over 350hp, then my point is proved. My point being that a remapped 350Z can reach 350hp+ without FI. While also requiring obscene amounts of work, additional aftermarket parts and an endless stream of cash. Its not a standard VQ35 anymore, far far from! And the point that others are making and you're missing is that no stock block will get to 350BHP! Why are you still trying flog this dead horse? The constant arguing is getting so tedious and Im not the only one to notice it either.
  18. Not going to comment on eBay side of things as Ive never sold on there, only purchased so don't truthfully know the full ins and outs. But I used to be a post office master, and can fully say that 20quid for 150 grams is crazy. But my experience lays strongly within UK costings, my only question is though is there a difference as its Latvia to greece? Not the shortest of journeys lol
  19. Will add this is a cracking radio for any 350z! My pal had one in his and I was a wee bit jealous until I got mine! Lots of cool features and chrisp sound GLWTS
  20. Any pictures chap? Im weighing up options for some more guages at the moment as I miss keeping an eye on what everythings doing like the Honda!
  21. Id say its normal, although everyone is bound to be different. Too many variables. Before I had my new CSC and braided line fitted, I definitely had what I would describe as a deadzone, where it made 0 difference. Was very much nothing nothing nothing "clutch engagement" and we're off. At the back of the pedal there is a pushrod and two nuts, which you can use to adjust the biting point. Its an absolute fiddle mind.
  22. Id love to know what purchase and resale has been on this, reckoning its through the roof. Id be feeling very upset if I was in Paycos shoes. Shame a forum mrmber local to it couldn't arrange a viewing
  23. Any update on the redesigned prefacelift DRLs Adrian?
  24. I had my old civic de-wipered so it has crossed my mind, but I actually find the Zs rear wiper to be quite practical. Not sure if its the design but I find the rear window gets filthy! I'll more then do it in the future when I track down a set of window lourves though Mee too dude! The excitment is mad and theres so much to come! Hell yeah bud! The love for the Z is firmly lit now so no holding back! I really hope its done on time... Gutted wont even come close
  25. Id love that rear bumper, even if it was just to upset people haha. Sourcing one the UK proved to be impossible. Not got a clue what the spoiler is, interesting comment about the EVO as there is actually one parked behind it no? This is one of those cars that could either be a gem or a nightmare!
