Only issue right now is expense to produce the cars I respect the tech behind electric vehicles. Im still a young petrol head, besides ive driven a hybrid for more than a year. Theres no gaurantee that its just the screen. I would get someone at a car audio place to look at it before making any moves as these run off software and are preprogrammed. Nissan probably want to replace AV control unit as well. That isnt necessary if audio, heater etc still work as normal as far as I can see?! Where are you based?

my brother broke down on the motorway 20 minutes after leaving a used car dealer. The guy came and recovered the car and we picked up the car the next day with a new alternator. Couldnt fault the guy really. The retailer dealt with it!

I think its just the screen itself. A new TFT screen can be purchased for £99.00. Unless you can find a car electrician, car audio place or youre DIY person. That screen should be replaced. There was a minor recall in US on some models 2009-2013 I think. The symptoms were similar. Blank screen and only working on reverse.

House buy, needed the deposit back. fortunately i didnt lose any value on the car so got a bit more back. That was december 2018. Now the dust has settled can start looking soon as weekend or occasional car.

Get a second car that costs £30 pound to tax and £20 a week on fuel lol. The problem is you want a second performance car on a budget. The second car is suppose to be ECO if youre trying to save. If not happy days!

problem with these cars is the unnerving electric steering wheel which is said to feel artificial at motorway speed. They say to avoid models with a certain feature that tries to make adjustments sending the car left and right. Why couldn't they stick to a basic electric steering system like in the older japanese cars like the CRZ . Sometimes too much tech is a bad thing.

A 2.4 pushing 240 hp and no torque dip would be good. Just the emissions part. Keep the weight 1200kg and under then you got a winner

Off the top of my head More powerful brakes with braided lines from GTR, slightly better acceleration than GT Manual, tuned suspension with less bodyroll, recaro seats, nismo bodykit, lighter weight, lighter RAYs Alloys, Ballasts in the rear of the car according to a Nissan Tech for better balance, Lighweight Alcantara steering wheel, Nismo exhaust not much sound but apparently better than standard.

I think the Taycan will hold value a lot better similar to their other premium models and they wont be that common due to the original price. BMW however are too common. I think after 3 years the Tesla will depreciate to £100,000. If thats the case then the Porsche will be thereabouts or a bit lower as the premium brand. Im not sure it will lose £50,000 over 3 years.

Taycan Turbo S is not much cheaper at £120,000 without many options added. Only live once. So you drive it for 3 years and sell it im sure the value will still be around £100,000. Basing that off the old Tesla Roadster which is still valued at £90,000. That old inlaws chestnut LOL. Happy wife happy life.

Yes it is. Its been on the cards for over 3 years. They are finally releasing it. Its going to be a very rare car on the roads. 2.4 seconds to 60 lol. No sound just your usual EU mandated robotic whine on the outside. Rather that than a Taycan depends on if practicality matters or not. Crazy stats. Quarter mile of 9 seconds. and top speed of 250MPHI guess 2.4 seconds was far fetched. More like less than 2 seconds. If this is the actual car then theres much to be excited about despite being electric! Range= 700 miles+ Total axle torque=10,000 Nm. Total Hp=1242 HP/926 kW.
