Big risk. Especially when they threaten to not refund it after rejecting 3 -5 test drives or losing out on sales on the saturday. "subject to test drive" couldnt give a valid reason. Refund rejected due to car being prepped, serviced, MOT etc -

I had a guy offer me £15,000 for my 2017 Nismo at the time worth at least £24,000 with less the 9k miles. I laughed and hung up. The guy called back asking why I dropped the phone. I said he was trying to knock off £9,000 without seeing the car. I asked him did you read the advert? All I got was stuttering so I hung up again. Eventually I sold to we buy any car for £2000 more. Another guy called claiming he would have bought it, but he was going on holiday. Uh huh lol As soon as he says £10,000 its not rude to tell him, "no speak english" and hang up -
Whats the best racing game of all time?
GranTurismoEra replied to auzyfozy's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Although I don't play racing games anymore. I would say Gran Turismo and more recently Forza Horizon on Xbox. If you are a hardcore sim player. Assetto Corsa on PC Race Driver Grid was good for crash realism on console which was limited thats about it Gran Turismo 1-5 were the best racing games on any console. That was a different era. PS1 to PS3. Now their games are biased towards online play which some have no interest in. -
Depends. My brother recently got into a crash with his Porsche 911 and it looks like a total loss. Insurance will 9/10 pay what the car is worth at the current time based on year and mileage. fortunately hes taken out GAP insurance, but GAP have said to contact them before accepting any offer. Either way he should be paid close to what it would cost to replace like for like so you'll have to haggle and show proof the car is worth x amount.

Looking for an HR then. 2007 onwards! They could be anything from 6 to 10995. The top end being very low mileage or 2008

My brother sold a fresh 2004 with 37,000 miles 2 previous owners for £6500. He paid £5700 in Glasgow. Car was fresh in and out and needed nothing doing. Thats value and he knew he wouldnt get a better deal anywhere. Unless youre specifically looking for an HR. I would have bought it if I didnt have a Nismo tbh. With regret we sold it to a guy 3 hours away. Was for sale for like 5 months...When summer comes, prices ..... Take your time and find the right one. But dont take too long as prices go up for no reason whatsoever in summer

Sometimes a good thing not hearing it in the cabin due to drone. I get that with my short tails now when accelerating its fine at 60-80 mph cruise. I suppose insulating the trunk area with some sound proofing is the next step. Thats where the Germans are superior. On a side note, my brothers friend just bought a Mark 3 TT in manual. I was thinking he should have just got the auto DSG and TTS but that was at least 6K more. His brother had a C Class 2016 coupe in Manual. I said to him that's an odd car to get a manual in. Something very 90s about having a manual in an upmarket or luxury/ GT coupe I think throttle blipping works better with older cars. The new cars are all electronic pedals and some have delays. Probably worth mapping the throttle in some of these modern cars -

Why not go all the way and go for the TTRS MK2. 340 HP. All those issues are typical of German cars. You just cant get round it. Never out of warranty with a German -

Zed i sometimes say Zee just to be funny. If you know anyone or are handy with DIY you could probably fix the roof mechanism. Not many places are willing to fix them mechanically I found. -

ROFL a poor persons 599. I'm not going to lie. The 599 is a classic along with the Extreme 700HP 599XX. Regarding the TT. They still have the dreaded window mechanism issue. If you can put up with these things then I dont see why a Tech pack TT MK3 wouldnt be a goer. Prices are coming down too. Those farting noises are the best youre going to get unless you go N/A or better yet 5 cylinder. -

Is that kit inc exhaust still £2,195? 200 HP in 1200KG must go really well. I wonder what ND would be like if it got the full treatment like this BBR kit is offering. Well "BBR’s ‘Super 200’ upgrade addresses this characteristic, significantly boosting peak power by 45 bhp to a mighty 205 bhp at 6950 rpm, allied to an impressive 179 lb.ft at 4950 rpm (a gain of 26 lb.ft). Crucially, where the stock engine is reluctant to attain higher revs, the BBR Super 200 equipped motor excels above 5500 rpm, offering intense, exhilarating performance and response all the way to the 7150 rpm limiter. Initial performance testing indicates that (when fitted with the optional performance exhaust components) the 0-60 mph time is reduced from 7.3 seconds to a scorching 5.65, meaning that whatever the challenge the BBR Super 200 equipped Mazda MX-5 can really punch above its weight." Not bad at all. Thats 350Z DE territory. £2800 is better than £5000 and its N/A and you can put the roof down! -

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure there is someone on here that can point you in the right direction to sort the roof. Possibly just a fuse, worse case scenario the motor. -
Scott @Abbey Motorsports have replied via Email. Thread can be closed! Thanks

I can see the appeal of the TT. But it feels like a lot of money for a computerised ride. I did consider the TTS at one point but thought nah. I needed more room, TT are very common around here along with all the aforementioned Germans. So to me they appeal a lot less when so many people have them and drive them terribly. I mean the young women around here really put there foot down cutting across lanes. Makes me take a dim view on these cars . TBH the Audi TT aside from the stereotype look like decent cars. It was funny having one guy in a TTS really looking at the Nismo and speeding off. Great cars id be interested in the TTRS but I think they are still 40k plus. Seeing one in the flesh hard to differentiate it from the Base TT aside from the bodykit and some arts and crafts badges on the back . Thats my issue with the Germans. I heard the TTRS does 3.7 seconds and a with a map up to 3.2 which is similar to the new Porsche 911 Carrera. The Carrera has 44 more HP though Audi want to discontinue the TT line I read somewhere. With those stats better come with 500BHP plus lol -

So the DRL staying on with headlights isn't simply a fuse. Some wiring needs to be done. Is it straight forward?

The oldest ones will eventually drop and flatline around 14-16k for a long while, by then I think the appeal would probably have died a lot more. I'm sure there will still be a small demand for people not wanting the new OPF and Comfortable ride. Simply because that equals boring and safe. I reckon in 4 - 5 years time 2015/2016 Mark 2 will be worth around that price. I cant see 350Z DE going below £3-5K depending on demand. I think HR will hold their value above 5k as well. With oldest 370Z 8K and up. I dont think there will be a new Zed within that time unless the new CEO wants to prove a point. Hes on probation and need to help them recover from the slump through new models and electrification. Worst case scenario facelift or engine swap like the M2 (N55-S55) for the 370Z(VQ37 - VR30). -
4 banger is Asia and Euro only for now. People need to buy more then maybe they would consider bringing it to UK. It will most likely be priced the same as a slightly used Z40i I wonder how long they will use the B58 Engine for.
