  1. Hahaha love the Hard Drivin' shout! I've spent hours on that The original Colin Mcrae rally was a favourite of mine as well - especially loved the cheats! Also the early need for speeds before they became too 'arcadey'
  2. I've always loved racing games but can never really decide on my favourite - keen to hear yours! I've always had a penchant for games where I could race my car in real life (either a 350z or a 944 turbo) but I also love a good rally game. Is the consensus that project cars with a wheel is the best? Or is Gran Turismo still reigning king?
  3. Hi I sent you a DM about your car. I'm away at the moment so it may be sold by the time I'm back but thought I'd drop my details over to you just in case.

    Thanks

  4. Thank you guys, really useful to hear your opinions. My benchmark is mine was mint and was worth 7k 3 years ago in black and orange interior. Silver ones and gold ones seem to be worth less. The rays on the one i saw were blistered and all kerbed. Its just pass its MOT but has expensive advisories: Blow in centre of exhuast (I could see the flexi pipe was knackered) Suspension arm bush Front brakes need replacing Brake lines (front) heavily corroded. So yeh I was thinking 4k, because you'd have to spend £1,500 to get it past the next MOT and another £1k to make it decent aesthically. Other odds and sods like an A/C regas, boot struts etc. I'd expect with age, but there is a big different between the one I saw versus a well looked after one like I had. It is appealing since its just a couple of miles from my house but only at the right price. Whats the best place to price up some parts for it? When I had mine I remember buying a bulk of parts from a US specialist which saved a fortune, but wondering who is best these days?
  5. Hi all, Former zed owner, looking to buy another, simply because its the best car i've ever driven! Looking at current market values, I'm just trying to gauge what a good one is worth. I went to see one locally the other day, orange UK GT car with the orange leather. Quite tatty though, stonechips, front brakes need attention, no body tunnel brace (presume removed for aftermarket exhuast), seats need attention, interior panels all scratched. 80k 2004 car. Ray''s all badly blistered. Suspension bushes advisory on mot (might be the banana arms I can't tell) What is one like this worth, versus a low mileage mint one? I've been looking at the forum over the last few months but all the nice cars are miles away! (i'm in south bucks) I sold mine for 7k 3 years ago, it was mint, not a mark anywhere, totally stock - black 04 with orange leather, new brakes and compression arms with 68k on the clock.
  6. I still have a pair of 350z stone guards if anyone needs them
  7. Yes that's right a company on eBay. They do loads on their website too for Porsches and the like.
  8. I had loads of marks on my 350z on th bonnet and the rear arches. For the 370z I bought some clear ones to prevent this. They're invisible and only cost £20
  9. Hi everyone, I've just bought some vinyl stoneguards to protect my rear arches which have a few chips. I have a white car and was considering Matt black guards instead, I bought clear but I may change for black. I was wondering if you guys had any opinion on these? Does anyone else find they get some stonechips there? Photo from website attached

  11. I think i have the same problem with my car. Nissan want 3 weeks wages for both arms so I've looked on ebay about found a pair - 2811223660873 Is this what I need?
  12. Hi all, I was wondering if you could help me diagnose a noise I have with my 2004 z. I am hearing a knocking noise when driving, so jacked it up and inspected yesterday. I've looked at all the bushings for play, and there is nothing noticeable, however, when I rock the wheel by hand, or with the steering wheel, I get a noise. This noise disappears when I start the engine. Is this the same for your cars? Would anyone mind rocking their steering wheel the same as I do in the video and tell me if they experience a similar noise, which also disappears on startup? Thanks in advance!
  13. Hi all - following on from earlier please see attached video of the knocking noise. Please could you let me know if you also hear this noise on your cars. This will help me narrow down where the knocking is coming from. (you might need to turn the volume up a lot to hear it ) Thanks in advance!
  14. Hi all, I have a similar issue - may not be the same problem - but rather than start a new post, I'll start here. I have a knocking noise coming from the drivers side, which you notice underneath when driving. It is more accentuated on rough roads. I've just had the z jacked up to try and diagnose, and I've found no play in any of the bushes anywhere, although, when I rock the steering wheel from side to side there is a knocking from the steering rack in the boot - although when I start it up, and rock the steering wheel, no noise! Does anyone elses car make this noise when the engine is off? Assuming it is the compression arm (part prices online seem to be £160-170. Any idea how much is it to replace a compression arm at a garage? Is it an easy diy job?
