  1. fair enough Enough hasnt been done....335 deaths now approaching 500. 3 weeks late for any type of lockdown.... some countries closed airports, shops and schools etc after 20 cases confirmed. Britain waited for 5000 cases and 335 deaths to take intermediate action Working according to statistics instead of common sense. We know the numbers are going up daily. As long as 1 piece of exercise is allowed in the park at 2 meters distance its all good.
  2. Boris the clueless. Exercise, shopping etc Lol because people will listen....my MDs mate wife works in govt and they already chaired meetings saying the death toll reaches 500 there,ll be no more advisories The British way. Prioritize liberties over the health of the people Minimize dictatorship as much as possible Keep calm and carry on When @*!# hits the fan by which its too late rush through legislation enforcing what should have been enforced 3 weeks ago Clothes shops open...why not whose forcing them shut...no one lol......Weakkk..... In a nuclear apocalypse one form of exercise in your underground bunker Nip to wet market catch a case of covid 79
  3. An 18 year old has apparently died. People need to start taking this seriously.
  4. 18 year boy apparently died on the weekend. Still seeing people outside socializing, driving with windows down and roof down. Just not bothered. Anybody could be carrying the virus. I told my mom to stay away its just too risky. No they will never take it seriously you need enforcement. Just this week Nigeria went from normal screening of incoming to shutting down schools across the country. So they are literally just starting their own lockdown. Next step is the pressure to close down airports and stop all international travel. Army on the streets restricting movement isn't a big deal has been done before will be done again. Close to 5 reported cases all in hospital. Italian guy recovered but some british and french are still in hospital. People complain about NHS the situation there is dire. At least there are action plans. A period of a month to three months to send the numbers down and keep an eye on whats happening. My cousins are at home isolating over there.....I heard the UK will move to stage 4 of Boris plan when deaths reach a certain number. Looks a shambles, with so few cases reported in my home country people are already regretting not taking necessary action as far back as January.... Wish Britain had a more serious attitude towards this. Jump in cases and deaths is inevitable with free movement and continued socializing at all age groups. Not sure what the aim is for the UK....a lot of people will get the virus and come out unscaved but some wont. I heard we arent the type of country to have army on the streets and reduce movements. Okay lets see what happens in that case.... Well done to half the population who have heeded the advice and stayed indoors using mainly delivery if available. Piers Morgan is right. A holiday in Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia isnt what people should be doing right now.
  5. One complaint and that number plate is gone....Unlike the US where people have won cases against the state for number plates like "IAMGOD"
  6. Some keywords in the class statement for the trademark Steering wheels for Automobiles, Automobiles and their parts and fittings, Automobiles, Electric vehicles and their parts and fittings, Fuel cell vehicles and their parts and fittings, AC motors or DC motors for land vehicles [not including "their parts" Electrically-assisted land vehicles, Wagons, Trucks, Vans, Sport utility vehicles, Motor buses, Recreational vehicles, Sports cars,
  7. this happened to an old guy in Harrow. He had two packs. One got snatched. from his trolley. Sad times
  8. http://www.cipo.ic.gc.ca/app/opic-cipo/trdmrks/srch/viewTrademark.html?id=2017351-00&lang=eng&status=OK&fileNumber=2017351&extension=00&startingDocumentIndexOnPage=1 No need to make this official. The extra coverage in the class statement means all options on the table including electrification. Rockstar have done a similar thing with their website domain for GTA 6. Doesn't guarantee anything or imply. Just means they are looking into different arenas/possibilities and revising their brand trademarks. No ones saying there will be a new car or GTA 6.
  9. Nissan have filed new trademarks in Canada for their Official logo and a new retro style Z Badge. Possibly will follow suit for Japan and other countries sooner or later. Under the class & statement it mentions Electrically Assisted. so obviously covering themselves should it ever be. Other words used are sport utility vehicle and buses..Hybrid and electric system are mentioned also. Interesting. Filed on the 12th of March to cover the new technical areas it could go I guess http://www.cipo.ic.gc.ca/app/opic-cipo/trdmrks/srch/viewTrademark.html?id=2017351-00&lang=eng&status=OK&fileNumber=2017351&extension=00&startingDocumentIndexOnPage=1 https://www.autoblog.com/2020/03/19/nissan-z-car-logo-trademark/?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAABfi0GZJLXUbdarlHmsbAs1XfasiTDSFuQ_D9txv5go0KmAFNCwmR2lmuTfaYup-CP4xoyUljt5ifO8xUbIjWNHKTQqyHEJIT6jEG6kKJAlfvrmIZq_VoesAWQ7XAhRe8LW83-cpWGIvelyxZSPueddndXjRGkJxSCPw6KQfqeOw https://www.motor1.com/news/405136/new-nissan-z-logos/ https://www.motortrend.com/news/2021-nissan-z-badging-revealed-trademark-info/
  10. my mate signed up to a down low cash and carry. I told him to send me the details so i can sign up. Its 30 miles away but worth it if this happens again in our lifetime. You order online and collect. Its all rationed to one item per customer. There are many like this around. When it kicks off in the city youll have to get out of town and find these places. Helped my brothers get hold of some stuff. Its also worth a trek if you know you ordered online and gauranteed to get the goods. 25 miles might be extreme, but by the time youve been to 3 tescos and 4 Sainsbury's youre already pi**ed off and covering 25 miles anyway and finding nothing Costco are also low on things....A lady said out loud theyve got tissue as costco had none and my mates girlfriend had to wait in the car with the shopping ....i wont be suprised if they came out and all the stuff was gone
  11. Iran apparently released 85,000 prisoners On a side note just got word from the MD that we are shutting down office for 2 weeks from tomorrow.. We will be working from home. Also on twitter londoners are calling for lockdown and restriction of movements but Downing Street have been defiant saying there will be no restrictions on movement in and out of London or within London. People have responded calling the PM "Boris the Clueless". All interesting. But I rather put faith in the people to do the right thing as Ive already seen less people on the streets and only coming out during early mornings to buy groceries. In my local area less people at rush hour mainly people driving back from work. But trains are less crowded. I think people will naturally stay away as businesses close down aside from Food retail and food shops. We shall see. Things can change overnight. They are refusing to shut down the TFL. I think that will restrict a lot of people if they needed to. Services may be reduced as less passengers are willing to travel hmm Dont wait for Boris......Self isolate like the Corona Beers have been doing
  12. I'm across from Asda people are beeping and going crazy and lots of traffic. Dont wait, government are going on measurements and numbers.. Also this was from one of the rags It comes as Britain’s supermarket chains are also launching action to help elderly and vulnerable customers, while ramping up operations to meet surging demand for home deliveries. Sainsbury’s became the latest group to offer priority home delivery slots to elderly and vulnerable customers, as well as exclusive shopping hours. Its supermarkets will only open to these two groups for the first hour of trading on Thursday, chief executive Mike Coupe said, but will open for an hour longer so other shoppers do not miss out. Sainsbury’s Local convenience stores will not offer the service.
  13. "Interesting that a virus achieves in 3 months what all the climate activists have been trying to do for years.!" https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-51944780 Reduce Global CO2....
  14. What the people who couldnt afford rice or cooked beans used to do is drink something called Garri which can also be boiled and eaten....Thats in Nigeria. Ive always referred to these type of food as rations. Thats how they survive, but that has adverse effects if you drink it too much. It staves off hunger for some time. A plate of Cooked beans can stave off hunger for a day I kid you not its so heavy.....Also fortunately with tropical weather bananas, cashews, yams and many more things grow there. so you can just about rustle up something if you are living below poverty. Work on a farm to survive thats if the farm owner will give you a job and you promise not to eat the produce on the job farming is a dying trade there and many people are importing and smuggling in food. Which the government are trying to stop War time meal skills are a necessity now you might have to start a new thread and get those recipes in there lol
  15. Lockdown or Curfew not strange for me. I lived in Nigeria for 10 years where they had lots of curfews and lockdowns during regime change, coups and military rule....what they are suggesting here isnt the end of the world. Its not a shoot on sight policy or arrest immediately if caught outside post 7PM.........Its more turn around and go back home and you should only be going to get food or supplies....No social gatherings....its just to contain or mitigate the spread for 2 to 4 weeks if that... It has to come to that to reduce movement and reduce the spread and stop it escalating way beyond the 104 deaths so far. Not to mention the rationing of food. Unfortunately this is the reality and shows you whats to come (in waves) even if people dont want to believe it. Its here. London needs this as they have the highest amount of reported cases in a concentrated area. roads have less traffic and there are less pedestrians in the street. So looks like some people are already doing their bit which is good. Waterloo and City said they will close down hopefully all other TFL will follow suit. Best to act now so we can salvage whatever is left of the year once it dies down. If its seasonal hopefully they would have found a vaccine before Covid 20....
  16. If they can time the deliveries and stocking shelves with priority hours then they will be onto something. Its just about securing the store and making sure when people go mad at the door it is safe for staff to carry on as normal. People will go mad even if its a restriction of 2 - 3 hours in the morning! We havent got there yet but there is risk of people being robbed outside the stores as happened to one guy in my local area not to mention house invasions. They just need to keep an eye on people as things could escalate with restrictions in place.
  17. Expect queues as people have the same idea, depending on the area. If youre in a little town or village it might be a relief and people might be more cordial! Also no gaurantees that items will be stocked. Good luck.
  18. 5AM 24 Hour Tesco! is your best bet. .They said they will reduce opening hours so it might be tricky Online shopping arent really taking anymore bookings till next month. I had to ask my mate 30 miles away to get me a 9 pack of loo roll as they have been sold out for 2 weeks...my brother got given 4 out of a pack in Asda....i said to him just take what you need and give me the rest lol......lots of people are not panic buying but they are going to the shops more often than they need to while others are going as a group and splitting up and buying 1 each and returning to the same household. My mate claims he saw this coming They live outside London so dont have the extreme queues and completely empty shelves. He also works as a tesco delivery driver. So the people you see with one bottle of whisky in their basket or like my brother having the **** taken out of him for having an empty basket have already bought their stuff 2 - 3 weeks ago when people werent panicking. Unfortunately most people didnt think it would get this bad but it has. Someone mentioned takeaway, I have heard that people are preparing food not taking taking the proper precautions. I would be wary Ive been doing a thing of only eating once a day on saturdays and sundays for the last year when possible. Think its good practice for when the time comes and you can only have one meal a day because that rice will only last 2 - 4 weeks! "it wont get that bad"....I cant gaurantee I wont catch this virus either... In Tesco Metro if you time it you can get a 5KG bag of rice along with Cereal and they have started rationing pasta and rice to 3 small packs per person after sainsburys have for the last week. A pain in the ass but you will have to phone around and ask if someone can pick these up especially around opening time. 5KG bag of rice can last you close to a month. Sooner or later there wont be anything left at all. Thats why the Army would be useful in restricting the numbers entering these stores and enforcing prioritisation of the elderly and disabled via rations. I'm all for that The slow reactions are funny. As a CEO of a chain like TESCO why havent they had security restricting the numbers in stores, the numbers of items people can check out at the tills like Sainsburys. With restrictions of hours and item numbers you can restock shelves. The elderly priority hours of say 7AM to 10AM Monday - Friday make sense as it keeps general public away. Also carers etc can be given passes to buy items at those times for their patient or person they are looking after. Ive not seen one elderly person stockpiling anytime i have been in store. TBH its easier to restock a superstore with 100 elderly people in a time frame of 2 - 3 hours than it is with a 100 general joe public as they tend to clear the aisles quicker without consideration No one else should be allowed in at that time. But you need private security, police or the army to enforce that
  19. 13K bargain and steal of the century for a 65 Plate. Saved a good 3 - 5k + there! usually around 16 - 17k. More deals like that and could see more people buying them. The Pennines, lucky you!
  20. I have the Nismo but 350 have a better shape thats where it should return to. 370Z are oversized slightly. I like the 350Z with 370Z Mk2 Nismo front and rear bumpers
  21. Lockdown compared to Italy is not being allowed to leave your home. Only being allowed to go to the shops to get urgent supplies. That being local. The Chinese lockdown basically didnt allow anyone to leave a catchment area unless they were medical staff, police or military. Its up to you whether you take it seriously or not. No ones saying you need to go out and buy 500 pasta bags and kitchen rolls etc. Just be wary. Judging by the amount of events such as Euros being postponed till next summer I think its kind of serious. I live in London ive seen the real empty shelves. Its happening more so here than anywhere else. Yes I get it people are stupid for panic buying and overreacting. Thats human nature, no one wants to die in a worse case scenario. What did you expect? Not everyone will react the same. Ive seen people with one or two items leaving the store, while others had their baskets packed. We dont know what the future holds, dont judge people for being scared and worried. How do you know its all based on media. It might just be reactionary. Seeing how others are buying everything they too want something for themselves. Just because youre not worried doesnt mean others are not allowed to be. Weve had waves like this before and there are going to be more which could be more severe. Either way theyll let us know what the next step is. Thats just my two cents.
  22. Have you seen whats going on in Italy, Spain and France in terms of lockdown and restrictions as well as deaths. Is that an exaggeration?
  23. Carry on as normal and hope "Herd Immunity" Solves the problem. Its just that people don't want to give up their social lives for 2 weeks to a month to reduce the spread. I mean people in Italy are still trying to have a private night life when they have been warned, ignoring all the warnings. Some people have claimed it is not as bad as flu while others have died. Which is it.... UK is still behind the peak of the curve. So any drastic action needs to see more deaths in the 100s to a thousand. . Needs must, I have no issue with Army being deployed to drive emergency vehicles and blockades to stop people leaving catchment areas. They have to do what they have to do to control the spread. UKs lackadaisical attitude has been interesting. Maybe the plan is to have the masses infected hoping for herd immunity and they know they will lose some along the way. Crazy tactic but wouldn't put it past Government. That way when push comes to shove you don't have to treat people with pre existing conditions or prioritize less likely to survive patients. Or they can say not enough beds sorry, stay home and try and recover. Elderly are being told to stay at home. My mom hasnt been anywhere public in a week or two. Best thing really. Why risk it. The flight ban by trump came a little too late,. My brother came from Lanzarote last week unchecked. Some are claiming they filled in forms which went to nobody
