  1. From certain angles the 370 looks cramped until you get inside. All you can see is the drivers head lol It looks trimmer than the 370 but larger than the 240. Hopefully we get a full reveal in the next 9 months. Looks lower
  2. That teaser video shows cars to be released within the next 18 months. Some cars were missing (Altima, Murano, Juke), meaning they wont be getting a facelift or new model anytime soon. GTR is 100% not getting a new model anytime soon. Not even remotely. Lol The Z is scheduled to release next year in Japan and North America around November 2021 as one of the last cars on the 18 month schedule. Europe is still to be determined. Lets see if they do what Toyota did bring a limited number. If the price is decent I expect them to continue selling at 140-200 per month in North America. At the moment they sell new 370Z at avg 120-150 per month in US with some discounts. This is inline with Alpine worldwide except North America and they chose to bring out an S. Thats why some sites are deeming it a heavy facelift as opposed to a totally new car. Due to cost of developing a new car. Could it have released earlier? I read its been in development since September 2018 after just about being okayed by previous CEO Saikawa. Ghosn had rejected proposals in 2016/17 with plan to release in 2019...he wasnt interested but Albaisa along with Nissan USA lobbied with Saikawa, over 7 months in 2018 to bring it back. According to one comment I saw claiming insider information. They also stated Nissan USA had a meeting with the new CEO Uchida and saw the design concepts. One being an improved center console and infotainment design. Nissan USA want new improved products to step up the brand image which is seen as bargain basement lol. New CEO wants to turn things around. So new "Next" models success or failure in the next 18 months are critical to him staying or going. Albaisa is the main reason another Z is being shown at all. Its highly likely to be produced. You cant recover losses without new and refreshed products while scaling back and lowering targets. Hence the Next program. Cars like Altima and Juke have been refreshed recently so aren't included. Qashqai and a few others are, and should get another facelift too. Good luck to them id say. Lets see if they get repaid for staying post brexit. Will British buy more Nissan and support Sunderland?
  3. Some early 70s Zeds came in black. Either that or theyve been resprayed. Orange is a real possibility along with yellow and red. Do you think they should have a longer version with 2 rear seats? Seeing as this will be their main performance car for a long time
  4. Thats a render you could say is one from a bored art student. Its bad compared to the one I posted lol Its just a reworked/rerendered Aston Martin
  5. This render from 6 months ago was the closest lol Actually got a lot of attention on many sites
  6. Something to look forward to. Might be some weeks for more information or even months. Looking forward to seeing what the stats are and full reveal
  7. Unless theyve changed their stance the GTR will continue to 2022 according to the chief engineer. It might be cut short due to poor sales. So prices will inflate if that was to happen. There might be an R36 in the works but I dont think anytime soon. GTR50 and 50th anniversary GTRs are the hype atm. Ending production for both current Z and GTR makes sense with the R50 and 50th anniversaries The rear lights, well thats what a lot of the "insider" information pointed towards as well as the Canada trademark. Going back to the roots. Then the recent article that was more a bio alluding to the original 240. Maybe they will use the recently trademarked badge for marketing purposes or put it somewhere like the steering wheel and bonnet/boot instead of Nissan that would be a nice touch So if this was fully revealed at Geneva/Detroit and ticked the boxes as well as price under £54,000 which seems to be the going rate for the Supra, M2..etc would you get it instead of a GTR or a classic?
  8. lol.... reading these threads back just too funny
  9. second one is fake lol, but design can change based on accountants and feedback. They really want to pay homage to the original so the back will probably not change in the first pic
  10. those renders were done by a french university graduate on Instagram. He renders porsches and other stuff Lol GuillamleRouge... The website has probably screenshotted it
  11. .....3 years of being torn apart....it was worth it! I did start to doubt towards the end tbh especially with the woeful numbers being sold in EU. Also why would they reregister a trademark for no reason if they didnt want to use it lol..... I think North America and Japan will be the focus markets. Marketing I doubt. Not even like the Lexus ads. This one is probably just for the enthusiasts tbh. They probably dont expect to sell more than what Alpine is selling worldwide. Hopefully UK customers will be able to order direct as I dont see it coming here in the same way as previous cars. Things can still change as in no car at all so lets see.
  12. Until then Ill reserve my gloating.... I too started to lose faith. As far as I can remember 3-4 years is how long a new car was expected. Even so its probably a case of order one wait 6 months get the car shipped. Probably only official in North America and Japan. We shall see
  13. https://carbuzz.com/news/its-happening-new-nissan-z-car-officially-teased Staff in Barcelona Nissan plant are burning tires
  14. Sorry dont believe it..... It will probably be limited orders in the beginning. I think we should pull up all the 400Z rumour threads and compile them in one place for entertainment purposes
  15. hmmm I still don biliv it.....Ill believe it when the metal is on the tarmac
  16. Guess Ill check back here next weekend then. Not looking good for Europe End of an era. For future sports cars. Only delivering on order sounds like a better idea for EU maybe
  17. What about Hertz here in UK. Do they have any Corvettes or any stock for sale I wonder
  18. Theres another film with a gang member stepping out of a white 370Z on Netflix. Unfortunately still waiting for the name of the film
  19. personally ive never been in a HR. I heard its more refined and has 30 more hp if that. I had an 03 DE my brother had a 37,000 mile 04 DE. Very torquey and nice drive. Just that some DE may be starting to rust in places. His one was clean because it was garaged most of its life and not driven in winter. HR is faster and revs higher. DE has good low end torque and tax is £325 and climbing every year. 06 and GT engines up to you. Do a lot of research on them as well as the HR. For the money proposed like someone said better to get a nice example DE than stretching to a high miler, high owner HR. Buy on condition and service history over mileage. Be patient looking
  20. welcome, you need to decide whether you want a DE or HR. Avoid a 2006 Rev Up, not worth the hassle.
  21. The Alpine hasnt done too badly. First year was around 1600 cars. I was telling the sales guy he was suprised how I know so much lol. Friendly guy from France. Asked me if I wanted to test the Alpine S. I said when I get my money up sure. I like that car. One for the future maybe. I dont think theyre stopping anytime soon. Renault plan to expand Alpine to Australia and Japan if they haven't already. The 370 roadster was a mistake allowed to carry on for 7 years after 2012. The production of the Z and GTR should have ended with 50th anniversary cars After they terminate both Z and GTR models it will drive used prices back up. They will then focus on their bread and butter which is family oriented SUV and Electric vehicles. I would say 5 years is a good time to get their house in order for any relaunch of their performance vehicles. But the chief engineer said over a year ago that they wanted to continue GTR till 2022. I actually posted that on my Instagram and Albaisa liked the post. It was more the picture than agreeing with any statement. That 2022 date may change to literally this year or beyond 2022 because these guys are somewhat mad. They just arent selling amazingly well and I can see why ending it will be a good move. 50 GTR a month in EU and 150 Zs in US. I expect the Z to be cut first in EU. Its still selling ok in US for what it is Z and GTR sales increase by a peep squeak when there is a facelift. Not enough to justify continued production lol I cant see them going 5 years with no GTR or Z in their line up. Things have changed a lot so it shouldn't be a shock if that were the case.
  22. Nostalgia, if my lotto numbers came through that, datsun 240 zee and a vector w8 for sure. Pair it up with some 80s music (wrong decade pal) still tempting! Right now i wouldn't spend a penny lol. Unless investing in hope of a full fledged recovery
  23. thats all well and good but can it fly and does it have retractable wings?
  24. i just assumed the Q60s were all bought up but you're right there are less for sale now. I think it will be tough for them but focussing on Electrifying the whole Infiniti Range, having an SUV thats fully electric (ariya) in addition to the Leaf and introducing an electric or hybrid Juke may be the way forward for them. While the idea of a leaf coupe similar to the cancelled Honda E coupe concept shouldn't be ruled out its a case of whos buying. 25,000 people registered interest in the Honda E in UK. Many of them probably wont buy it in the end due to the range and cost. Also youngsters are looking for an alternative to the Teslas while some are buying model 3 anyway. Nissan used to be the guy "Offering an alternative for cheaper" It worked in the 70s 80s 90s. Selling exclusive models for millions doesn't make you a prestigious brand. Focussing on what can make you a big name will. But before they get there they need to offer great alternatives are competitive prices. There are articles stating the end of Z and GTR in Europe due to cut backs. I could have written that 2 years ago as the numbers were never great in EU. With Ghosn gone. The new probation bound CEO needs to get sales up. Focussing on Asia, Africa, Middle East markets may be the saving grace. US and EU are tough nuts due to many better alternatives with superior after sales service..
