i just assumed the Q60s were all bought up but you're right there are less for sale now. I think it will be tough for them but focussing on Electrifying the whole Infiniti Range, having an SUV thats fully electric (ariya) in addition to the Leaf and introducing an electric or hybrid Juke may be the way forward for them. While the idea of a leaf coupe similar to the cancelled Honda E coupe concept shouldn't be ruled out its a case of whos buying. 25,000 people registered interest in the Honda E in UK. Many of them probably wont buy it in the end due to the range and cost. Also youngsters are looking for an alternative to the Teslas while some are buying model 3 anyway. Nissan used to be the guy "Offering an alternative for cheaper" It worked in the 70s 80s 90s. Selling exclusive models for millions doesn't make you a prestigious brand. Focussing on what can make you a big name will. But before they get there they need to offer great alternatives are competitive prices. There are articles stating the end of Z and GTR in Europe due to cut backs. I could have written that 2 years ago as the numbers were never great in EU. With Ghosn gone. The new probation bound CEO needs to get sales up. Focussing on Asia, Africa, Middle East markets may be the saving grace. US and EU are tough nuts due to many better alternatives with superior after sales service..

They are cutting operations and closing factory in Spain to move to UK. They got large wheels on a 1 liter car. The interior is much improved and the exterior is better than 1st gen. Nissan wont be bothering with a Hot hatch. An AMG 45 engine in a Nissan. Not sure...X class is ceasing production soon. Theyve reduced output and set lower targets in order to recover financial losses. Basically if we ever want to see an R36 or 400Z etc they need you lot buying Jukes, Frontiers, Navaras, Qashqais, Micras, Versas the lot. They need to sell 5 million vehicles worldwide annually. With the introduction of the Ariya Electric SUV theyre hoping people will have a renewed interest in the brand. Theyve sold a few of these Jukes but its still relatively new so itll take a while before they start becoming common. Problem is that previous gen was 10-15k near new...this gen is a bit more. Wow, thats why sometimes the release of a new model is best left for sometime so the manufacturer can iron out all the issues with the car. Hopefully these build issues get addressed. At the price point there were going to be issues here and there but no one would have envision this many. The main thing is they shouldn't hesitate to issue a recall on the mechanical issues first and foremost. Worst thing they can do is do an Audi and deny all responsibility or start making excuses. They will quickly lose customers. Address any issues with customers hopefully they will be satisfied and not start rejecting cars or starting class action suits

LC500 is more of a heavy luxury cruiser. You have to be 100% sure you want it. Ive seen the car in person 2 years ago. Its not a huge car at all. Guessing it all the insulation and heavy materials used to shore up the car that makes it 2 tonnes. I wonder how much weight its shed for this year. jdm clears look super expensive. It is an evolution of the VQ series engine. I guess that would be down to the engineers at base to comment on. They do design and build the other engines including the race cars as well as the Nismo GTR. Renault were planning to develop a hybrid version of this VR engine for the Q60 it looks like that got shelved. Any chance of that hybrid engine being transferred to the Z line looks out of the window. They could have put the standard VR in the Z 3 years ago but chose not to. Any changes now will be futile, the engine is already years old and comes with its own set of issues. The VQ seems more viable for now if they wish to keep making the car and selling 150 per month worldwide. As Steve O said, their quality isnt the best, Even if they made an electric in this segment by then there will be other brands doing it better. . There may be no reason to come back not even for a Leaf sports car which is basically where its headed according to this Trademark They do offer great range in the electric Leaf for a hefty £40,000. Model 3 equivalent might be better option. When speaking about performance we,ve seen with Tesla top model, the delay of their supercar, Porsche Taycan, Honda's cancelled E coupe etc that it wont come cheap or easy if thats the route they want to take in future. Insurance is roughly the same price but if I was living in Reading I could get it as cheap or cheaper than the Nismo depending on Model year around £1200. £1300 is the standard group 49/50 price. Ill hundred percent take the LC,500 V8 or V6 hybrid. Prefer the V8 with an exhaust. The new one is apparently coming with weight reduction. Lol I understand dumping the Nismo only for something that makes sense or is just as good. 18 plate i almost got one of Ford at 23k a year ago. Went quick. Current Nismo is a 16 plate. So you can imagine if I sell later this year ill probably just about get 17-19k if I hold my breath. I dont even care anymore tbh lol 66 plate my 17 shape GTR start from £56000 and up.
