  1. yeah worked in YMCA. We had to just send them away. Huge bags of tapes. The dvds and ps2/3 games became the norm as far back as 2011.
  2. Good thing Im not in charge. Id can the GTR for a good 10 years until its viable to come up with an affordable hybrid V6. Ive seen what a difference it makes in my current car and with the NSX. A new GTR now would probably cost £100,000+ When you combine hybrid electric motors with a V6 Turbo you can get close to diesel torque figures. In those 10 years a lot could change such as diesel and petrol restrictions but id make the new Z the main supercar for the brand. Id just dump the q60 engine in since infiniti are going electric. Although its not the most efficient engine it can produce 400-500 hp easily and up to 600bhp with some work. Id go all wheel drive and reduce the dimensions of the current 370z. Something between the 350 base and 370 Nismo in terms of width. Rear wheel biased AWD Price it at £46-£50,000. The design doesnt need to change much Cheaper than a 15 GTR, Cayman and an Alpine. The only thing that would make it possible is demand in the American market. Why was the Datsun 240Z bought to US to offer an alternative to market. As one senior citizen said yesterday what they said about Datsun in 70s Britain "If they think theyll make any headway here they got another thing coming" Some say there will be but nothing has been announced and there isnt anything official. Apart from anniversary editions with stickers and infiniti going electric.
  3. The Nismo mark 1 will probably go up first as theyre limited
  4. Theres the thing about credit. There are reasons why well off youngsters may opt to finance a 25k car as opposed to a 65k car because of youtube. A lot of bigger youtubers are still driving lower valued cars until they get big enough to take the plunge on a big ticket item costing 65k or have the finances in place to protect against any eventuality such as demand for payment etc. He could have got a used M4 for half the price from a third party. 30k is easier to obtain a loan for than 65k. But no go all out and get the highest spec when youre going to mod the hell out of it anyway. But thats the past. A finance company may offer him a deal or he may have business partners who could help him out. Crowd funding? He could do but he,ll never be able to repay a grand gesture like that. He could leave UK and produce content from benidorm or canary Islands. Either way he needs to find a solution fast. Selling it still leaves him owing a large chunk if his deposit was low due to depreciation. Maybe he can sell for 48k and pay the difference out of his own pocket. Whos going to buy a molested BMW though?!
  5. Good meeting some of you. The turn out was slightly more than last year. Some came from as far as Doncaster, Dorset and Lincoln. Thanks for making the effort. Believe it or not there are a few local Z who live close by. Some couldn't make it and others arent on the forum. So if it wasnt for the long distance members it wouldn't have been possible. Ended up staying till 3:45pm. Not many pics too busy chatting. Good to meet andy, richard, John, Maz, Payco, Ben and many more.
  6. nice car dude. A proper GT with good straight line performance. There are a couple in my area. Mostly red and black. Cant beat the sound of a V8
  7. Hence the view numbers. Mostly from young americans who still rate the car.
  8. Millions of views. Was a struggle to get anything positive out of this review lol.....
  9. they may be a few showers in the morning tomorrow. But should clearup post midday lol
  10. I called up Nissan and they just said to me warranty wont cover exhaust The dealer had no issue with backbox delete. They knew. I told them everything else was standard and no tunes or messing with the engine. Also I made sure outstanding was settled.....Its still a mod but not a pisstake like adding methanol injection and hybrid turbos. That definitely breaches the terms and diminishes the value of the car. Also the car was sold with the standard exhaust anyway. So the new owner has nothing to worry about in terms of warranty etc I guess thats why I liked the Short Tails. Didnt need much modification and a 10 minute job
  11. Merger has fallen through! https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwiqiIvW2tXiAhUPdxoKHQLmCyQQzPwBegQIARAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.theguardian.com%2Fbusiness%2F2019%2Fjun%2F06%2Frenault-fiat-chrysler-merger-collapses&psig=AOvVaw3vJdHcoNF9pmASsDcEirF1&ust=1559939782429039
  12. Sounds like a plan. Get a car that all the youngsters and banksters aspire to get. Do some mods and get people watching, build subscribers and views. Sell quickly and move onto the next highly desirable car.
  13. The same people in the audience booing will be in the queue on release day setting up tents and singing hymns to each other.
  14. Life experience or know how, maybe you could advise a younger person in a similar situation whos modifying on similar deals. Have you checked your terms and conditions etc. Youve got more experience of the situation. That's what I meant.
  15. lol, we all make mistakes. All part of learning. There are other youtubers who do the same thing on similar deals. Whether they can or cannot read is up for debate. Well im sure his experience will educate others.
  16. Its all related because hes asked to give back the car which gets repossessed this week if he cant pay. Point is its not as simple as not reading small prints. Its also inexperience. Hence the situation arising. Either way he still owes £60,000+ as a result of modifying and breaching contract. How he was "funded" plays a part on his terms of contract the way it was purchased. He can raffle it, sell it and try make up the rest I guess. On a different deal this may not be viral....
  17. 390 im assuming that for all boxes ticket including onwards journey and home start
  18. Kids are extremely impatient these days. Whats wrong with even waiting till your premiums are reasonable let alone the earnings to buy a £60,000 car. Definitely an eye opener. A lot of comments are stating he should have gone to the bank. I cant see a bank giving £60,000 loan that easily especially if you have little to no substantial credit history. Even the earnings, but everyone's situation is very different.
  19. crazy, the modifications are beyond what most people would do. I dont think they would have cancelled if he didnt drive like a maniac and make so many changes. ie an exhaust etc. He also financed via main dealer. Most dealers would specify the same no modification conditions. But then no mods mean no mods. Especially on PCP. His YouTube mates are financing through third parties TRL deals and other specialists. Not via BMW even so it would be agreed beforehand.
  20. https://driving.ca/bmw/auto-news/news/bmw-demands-payment-on-financed-m4-after-owners-mods Mods include Hybrid turbos, methanol injection, numerous tunes, full exhaust system £65,000 roughly financed at £650 pm New M4 competition. Seems to be gaining traction online
  21. Weather looks okay. Will be cloudy, 17 degrees a bit cooler than last year. Fortunately will miss the rain due for Friday and Sunday instead . Still a 50% chance of rain.
