  1. I would think engine gearbox and electrical failures are covered. Apart from wear and tear. Although some aftermarket warranty providers cover wear and tear apparently.
  2. Ill call up to find out on tuesday. But does anyone have any experience of this? Are prices reasonable beyond the standard warranty for cars under 60,000 and 3-7 years old How about third party warranty companies Im looking at 15 plate Nismo
  3. beats a 911 Carrera service at £1000. £300 is an amazing price lol
  4. Tire noise in the 370 can be reduced by soundproofing the trunk area with some soundproofing material. Its a final shootout between the Mustang and the 370 then. What type of drive are you after. The Nismo is a bit hardcore I think. The Mustang being more compliant GT cruiser?!
  5. Apples and Oranges. Plus point for me living in London where most are German or GM....Something different tick!
  6. Thats what happens when everyone copies each other. You get a shock when something different turns up....Bahhhh
  7. Hopefully the designer stumbled across my Insta post calling it a dissapointment not that they care about this car anymore! Oh they are canning the roadsters in the U.S ....UK did in 2012
  8. This doesn't deserve 3 threads....
  9. £5500 Right now due to high mileage. You can probably play on the fact you had it resprayed and treated which many other zeds havent had the same treatment done yet. Also new clutch is a good selling point. zman is probably closer to the real value. But good to start high then work downwards.
  10. try 2 in 12 months
  11. if looking at convertibles, Arent there lower mileage ones available? Look at maintenance/MOT/Service history. Some early years 2009-2013 were prone to steering lock issue. So check the fuse isnt still plugged in. Look up "steering wheel lock 370z" While the convertibles are nice, I found most places replace the roof. But mechanically it can be difficult to find someone to fix it if it stops working...if you arent DIY esque or a dab hand at repairing things I usually use clickmechanic when buying cars to have it inspected. For extra peace of mind unless you know a mechanic yourself. So you know what issues you might have to sort if any
  12. Admiral used to send viral emails regarding multi car policies. Not sure if they still do multi car policies.
  13. Judging by the name youre joking...
  14. Hi All, I already have a car which im looking to change to a Z using my no claims. Im looking into insuring a second car using 0 years NCD. If I was to keep the car for longer than a year. Would I start building NCD on a second car? Would that be fine to apply to another car within 2 years if I was sell and buy something else later. Basically is it possible to build "Parallel No Claims Bonus" even though your current core Policy already as 10 years. Since the multi car policy is becoming rarer and NCD isnt really applicable on secondary cars. Thanks in advance
  15. Both cars mk1 and mk2 are headturners and look great. No car is perfect something has to give. The fact it doesn't look like much else is a plus point In terms of classics it just depends. Who would have known the 1M would become. It might do due to the fact they may not make another Z or it would be the last NA car to come from this line also its limited numbers. Unless they reintroduced the Silvia with similar platform to MX5 Talking another 5-15 years to see that happen maybe. The 350z are going up though. Good examples are far and few between. Travelling far to find one is the norm now.
  16. Interior on the later BRZ are much better than GT86. Probably just me. I wonder how a supercharged BRZ/86 would fare against an Alpine? or something with 250-350 BHP The lights do look good on the later models
  17. Are you supercharged? Any plans for Alcantara dash etc?
  18. They're busy building plush offices in China. Well the designer is doing press stuff and flying around. This isnt a priority. Plus they haev to shave 20 seconds from their current record on the nordschleife. Good luck!
  19. About time..... Although Id still buy a MY17/18 just for the experience. I dont think theyll release that in the UK.
  20. Its long in the tooth. Can it and back to the drawing board.
  21. Must be nice living in the sticks where you can get off the driveway without harrasment and traffic jams. I was averaging 18 MPG but on motorway that jumps to around 26mpg if you reset the trip. Mostly town and dual carriage way twice a week to get fuel. That was a 17 Nismo. Covering around 80-100 miles a week. £35-£50 per week. The 350 was a lot better. 24MPG average. Yes some spirited driving but 90% of the time sticking to 30mPh and driving reasonably.
  22. isnt it 20mm + 3 mm shims at the front?
  23. crazy story I used to go down there from north west london. 75 miles one way. But you get there and the work gets done on the spot. labour charges arent over the top. He fixes GTRs and the Zeds. I once saw him give a guy 40% off a repair on a GTR...I think the costs are reasonable. Plus hes got 20+ years as Nissan Tech so knows his stuff.
  24. kaizer motors is in Rochester, Kent. East of Bexleyheath by like 15 miles.
