  1. Try to video it if you can. Always great watching cars on track.
  2. That was fast Will. It was only the other day you mentioned maybe selling Black Betty and now it has gone!!... :scare: So is the 313HR what you really want then mate or is a 370 on the cards if you find some more 10p's behind the sofa cushions?
  3. No worries mate, ...can't be too much left of that 350 now so happy to help you out when I can.
  4. Flipping heck that's nasty. Really feel for you. Some panels come black from the factories and that pretty much just looks like someones just painted a base coat straight onto it with no primer so could be a botch spray job done by someone. Never seen that happen before.
  5. That's a strange one. Usually I would have expected it just to be giving a deeper sound from the exhaust system if it was blowing somewhere. Not sure what that hissing's all about. Have you checked your air intakes for any leaks? just a thought as I'm sure someone else had a similar strange noise which was to do with air being sucked in under vacuum through a small split in a pipe. Although in saying that here's another thread from a member called Liam mentioning a similar noise to yours. Although typically it doesn't say what happened or if he found the cause of the noise. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/90423-ive-had-it-with-this-mother-fing-snake-in-this-mother-fing-car/ If you can get under the car then check the whole exhaust system, ...if it is blowing somewhere you should see some evidence like soot marks.
  6. That's cool then, ...no car park dings for either then.
  7. ^^ Very nice. That's pretty much the only front lip I like the look of on the 350. Lovely design I think.
  8. Not sure I'd like parking my GTR so close to that Range Rover if I had one. Shame it wasn't better organized chirag but glad the three of you had fun anyway.
  9. Much appreciated. Just remember to PM me if you ever decide to sell yours as it sounds well looked after.
  10. I'm using Nissan L248 pre-mix engine coolant so probably exactly the same stuff you have in yours. If only it was a simple as a different coolant to fix the problem that would be nice.
  11. ^^ Bl**dy hell Vix the purple ones look terrible & the black ones look like they're heading the same way. I've bought Mishimoto coolant hoses for mine which thankfully so far (5 weeks on) are showing no signs of this type of problem. Hope you get some sort of resolution over this.
  12. ^^ What he said, preferably with the woman sat on top of them just for a size comparison.
  13. I know what your saying, not something I would have considered in the past but year before last I couldn't get the car 1mile from CS to our house when it snowed, damn slope to our house! Also it's my Mrs' daily and she has to do home visits and clinics where there's no public transport access so seems sensible to have. If it snows hawker I won't be driving the Zed no matter what tyres I have on it. Firstly because I'm in Wales and I can't drive anywhere locally without going up & down hills so the slightest snow fall can cause problems but also because I'm not worried about how I drive in bad weather conditions like snow, ...it's how all the other people drive that would worry me. I'll be walking 4-5 miles to work if it snows which I'd much rather do than risk someone crashing into me. Just not worth the risk to my Zed. Edit: Also do you have any idea how much a 19" 275/35 snow/winter tyre would cost!!
  14. I quite fancy one for my next car too but was under the impression that 2011 onwards had the advantage of an improved transmission and yearly instead of six monthly services. Not sure though.... The improvements on the 2011 car are pretty good, I have the suspension from 2012 car and the 2011 had a much better trans cooler, among other things. The servicing difference means nothing..... it was Nissan having released a new car and wanting to collect data on how things were going on the car. Some owners have moved to a 12 month service schedule and some of the 2011+ owners have moved down to a 6 month schedule. Personally, I prefer servicing the car every 6 months, purely because it has a hard life and nice to keep an eye on things, especially considering the price of parts Already doing some reading up & research on the GTR for future reference. Keep reading a lot about circlips, gearbox software upgrades & bell housing being done. Can you shed any light on those things Graham? especially the bell housing part? Thanks either way.
  15. What an awesome motor, ..no wonder you miss it. Cool.
  16. Great stuff Nick. There are a few of us honest folk about & I'm so glad your phone was found by one.
  17. Same here. Personally I don't think it's all that necessary especially if you drive accordingly to the weather conditions. E.g: leave larger braking zones between vehicles etc when needed.
