  1. along. Excellent intro BTW. Pop some white lithium grease on the clutch pedal spring, it should stop the squeak and maybe even help with depression (that's a brilliant pun if I do say so myself). Generally handling and stopping mods first is the rule I've read on the internet, but I went straight for the BOSE as it's the cars' Achilles Heel IMO. The list of mods is endless so just work through what needs replacing first and then whatever you fancy after that!
  2. Checking your income is practically pointless anyway, you could employed today and then unemployed 2 days after the agreement is signed. All it really confirms is your current capactity, and most people lie about thier outgoings anyway (not all credit and bills are on your credit records). The only real indicator of a payer is history. There'll be plenty of people who kept up payments, even if they lost thier income, these are the people they want to do business with. I've seen enough credit histories to know that there are plenty of the other kind, who could afford to pay their debts, but don't bother. Best ever excuse for a missed mortgage payment, "I needed a new phone." "So tell me Mr X why on earth would I arrange this secured loan for you?"
  3. Hope you can open your mouth wide enough with the gear on.
  4. Pick up the bits you need from a zed being broken on here or a trader, then get them dipped or whatever while you're old ones are in situ. You might even make a couple of quid when you come to sell yours on after you fitted the dipped ones
  5. Big Al says dogs can't look up.
  6. Easy fellas, surely we've all had our pants taken down by a garage before? My first MOT when I was a youngster I took a modest fist on some costs, one being a few quid to adjust the headlights - it was done via a dial on the dash
  7. I think it would glide a bit if there was an issue. Just got to hope it's not being licensed to Alfa Romeo.
  8. Very nice - but surely this cost way more than a Zed?
  9. Why not drive a 1998 micra and donate the difference in price between that and a beautiful white Jaaag to the local homeless shelter
  10. Finally Tomorrow's World (it was a TV show back in the day kids) has delivered on something, the flying car. Dan, can you get a road/air test up for the weekend? http://gu.com/p/42p7a Now where's my hover board and jet pack? PS - If it's a re-post mods, please erase from history.
  11. +1 for Dell if you're going Windowz. My last Dell laptop was the best PC I've owned. Ordinarily I'd be pointing you at the apple store but with the Yorkshirewomen constraint , I think ebuyer is also a good option. Anywhere but PC World and you should be fine
  12. Can't believe i've only just seen this. Nice work so far mate. Subscribed!
  13. Quality! Love the "moment" on the first vid.
  14. Cheers mate, that means a lot to me coming from a pro. Strictly amateur hour over here though, I have a lot of respect for anyone like yourself who does this for a profession as I'm fairly sure it's not something I could do for a living. I thought you worked in one of those hand wash specials joints with one big bucket for all the cars, one giant sponge and giant vat of t-cut
  15. After a horrorshow Travelodge last night, finally got an acceptable hotel booked through work. Looked a bit stuffy until I parked the Zed out front.
  16. Can't see the itemised bill anywhere on here Post it up. Any additional work should involve a 2 minute phone call first.
  17. Used these http://www.thecanvasprintstudio.co.uk Quality is good and they've not faded or gone in any way weird in 2 years.
  18. I'm a contractor and my rates are daily, some contracts define what 'a day' is and some don't. I generally keep a track of my hours and if they drift over a 40 hr week once or twice, it's usually swings and roundabouts and I'll get an hour back here and there - all very grown up and fair. Sounds like your client is being a dick and I'm sure if you had had to put in a few extra hours they wouldn't be volunteering @*!# all extra for those hours. Sadly all you can do is suck it up and never do any work for them again. Some people know the price of everything and the value of nothing.
  19. A 34" version sounds spot on. What's the native res?
  20. Wow, this guy is my hero. What's the American for bell end?
