I got an RAC check because I don't know a thing about cars and it was my first time, but what's been said is true, no security comes with it it's purely informational. I did successfully use it to get a number of jobs (replaced front hubs being one) done before I collected though, so it more or less paid for itself. He also picked up on a paint repair I didn't spot and some minor corrosion spots which I budgeted to sort myself.

How do I make a payment? I'd like just one A3 please
added to the list as above - you'll be sent a payment request closer to the time
Lol I'd already added myself! Was just asking about payment details
Yeah, rookie mod mistake by me, apologies. You've been unadded now. I'll PM everyone and share payment details and gather addresses etc once the numbers are nailed down.

That and the dislodged cables, looks like it's already been round a roundabout backwards

PRICES I am very pleased that we've managed to beat both inflation and deflation, by maintaining the same price as last year's wall calendar. The prices are as follows:

1x A3 Wall Calendar - £16.50 delivered
1x Desk Deluxe Calendar - £18.50 delivered
or BOTH for just £26.50 delivered (yes you read that right, one of each style!)
This includes a sturdy, high quality envelope which with some careful opening you may even be able to reuse - so even polar bears love it. More seriously, after the cost of printing, extortionate postage prices and aforementioned quality envelopes, any surplus from the calendars goes towards meeting the cost of the forum's insurance. So not only do you get something beautiful, unique to members and a chance to be famous, you get to help to keep the lights on in this place too. It's a win all round if you get involved.

The door card is one of the few things on the Zed even I feel comfortable taking to pieces A few of those handy trim tools are good for easing it off and keeping the likelihood of cracking/bending clips to a minimum. Also, if the heating has been on and warmed up the plastics they are more friendly than when they're stone cold. Take it out for a blast with the heat cranked up before you do the job.

I was thinking of a new Mustang at first, but then I got to thinking, why not get more used car for the same money? I think that's at least part of the reason a Nismo 370z wasn't on the list, as petrolheads, we'd sooner have more car second hand than something brand new for the same money. On any given day in the car park at work, all the cars within 10 spaces of me must have cost their owners more than my Zed, but no one goes up to the owner of a brand new Fiesta and says, "bloody hell, you must be earning a fortune buying one of those"

In terms of planning permission (generally speaking), I'm a first time buyer looking for a place and I can't find a house to buy with a decent sized garage, but there are loads with single garages and lots of adjacent space in some sort of useless green area (I think they are called "gardens" not sure what they're for ) Is it a big deal to get planning permission to extend an existing freestanding structure a bit wider - assuming it's not over some critical water/sewage piping?

If it was Porsche, it'd have to be a black or white 964 C4

Lyndzzz is correct - it's during the unbox
Hey Stu, any news on when the pics will be chosen and calendars being made?
So close, I'm just waiting on an email response from the printers and, depending on the response, we should be good to go.

V8 Vantage, just because it's on the list.

Post #107 in Mopedmarks build http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/80743-mopedmarks-build-threadmajor-updates-page-6-onwards/page__st__100 Is the best thing I've seen anyone do in that space apart from replace the lot in chrome goodies.

I like the smell of Dodo Juice Tarmalade, but It's the only tar remover I've used, so I can't say if it's good or not versus other products. It's more of a topical product than a "wipe down the whole car with it" so it comes out during claying when I see a tar spot. Also it's made of fruits and superfoods and hippies and stuff, not nasty chemicals. So it's a win for the polar bears. Did I mention it smells nice too

How many miles has it done?

Saved me about an hour ahahah, cheers pal! Sent from my potato using duct tape All IMO of course, wait until ilogikal1 and Ricey turn up with 15 more steps for you

For me, there's not much in drying before you clay, may as well clay with the clean soapy water for lube. And if you're doing an IPA wipe down, I personally wouldn't bother with another wash after clay, just rinse it off. But that's just me, I know there are purer, more dedicated types out there.

Silly question, how do you know if has worked? Haha, just clear the remaining product off and shine a light to it? well we have a couple of clear days... a year hahaha Sent from my potato using duct tape Find a small place on the car with some defects, but out the way and test there (rear passenger side is miles away from the driver's door ). A narrow beam light is a great way of finding defects, re-checking the area and then deciding if you need to adjust your combination of compound and pad. Go easy to start with, get it right and you should be ok. I know the Zed's paint is supposed to be soft, but it took me a good while to shift a few scratches with a DA and a menzerna soft paint kit. If the car's new, be really careful to check for any unknown repairs that might have been done by PO.

Safari for normal browsing, Chrome for if you want to access flash content. Then you never had to install dirty, resource hungry, unstable flash software on your Mac and you can keep Chrome memory leaks to a minimum

Makes sense ... not happening on Safari https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/disable-or-remove-add-ons

Sounds like ransomware, watch out for this guy
