Sound advice indeed, though in my case it would involve moving to a drier climate, haha. Totally This isn't an instead of a proper repair at all. I'm just trying to get it sorted for when the shambles he uses for a roofer comes round to patch up/repair the previous work done and the mess needs drying out.

In case anyone stumbles upon this via search, here's some info. The lean code was dealt with (by accident) when the MAF was cleaned with electrical contact cleaner, as its was reading very high intake temps 60+. No sign of the lean code since (several weeks, many hundreds of miles). The Cam Position Sensor issue culminated in the Zed spitting the dummy out and taking a long while to start (several seconds cranking) and then the next day, flat out refusing to start. Leaving me with this selection of codes, ignore the ASCD switch that's just the cruise control misbehaving after the steering wheel was swapped out, I should have reused my existing switches. Fortunately Ewen at Clark Motorsport helpfully supplied a couple of genuine Nissan cam position sensors and the RAC were summoned to relay me to my garage. The very helpful RAC chap felt it was going to be such a PITA to relay my Zed he elected to fit the part on my drive instead. Once the bank 1 sensor was swapped out, she fired up first time no problem. Now i have gone down to just a couple of codes: Since the fault originally occurred I have invested in an UpRev cable, so at last I have had a chance to put it to good use and check the codes and also do some logging (more for my learning than anything else). This is a log from after the initial long start but before it refused to start. This is after the bank 1 sensor was swapped out. It's gone down from a +60 flatline to a fluctuating -16 This is a close up of the data without the RPM plotted against a second axis. The resolution of data from the UpRev cable into a laptop is incredible, a 10 minute drive generates something ridiculous like 20,000 collection points across about 20 different parameters. It makes my phone code reader look like an abacus. No real idea what any of it means but it's still dead interesting to have a look at the logs it throws out.

Thanks for the tips gang, always helpful in a moment of need

This gives you an idea of the size and shape (22x17x10 cm) and how good they'd look with your Zed on instead of generic cityscape Nothing's been decided yet for the Desktop, the vote is to gauge interest. I've tried reasoning, but you know what parents are like, they won't listen. When he starts seeing 5 litres being pulled out of the air in a big tank though it might give him a nudge to MTFU

Quite a bit, there's a steady drip of water gone undetected for a while so there's moisture in the carpet, some ceiling tiles and god only knows where else. Also it's not been remedied yet, so it'll be ongoing for the next few days. My old man's too tight to turn the heating on full tilt this time of year (it's a big place) and I'm conerned it's literally not going to ever dry out. I initially went straight to rental but knowing the roof in this place and the fact that this the start of the crap weather, not the end, I figured it might be needed again in the next few months.

Calling trades types and handy folk. My parents have a leak at thier place and I need to find a dehumidifier to suck up a load of the moisture during this heavy rain. Can anyone recommend one please? Should I just rent from Jewson or HSS for a week (£130ish) or buy a domestic one for slightly more money (£200) and keep it for a future rainy day? Thanks Stu

Like number 2, I feel more manly about eyeing up BRZs -
I've nailed my colours to the mast tonight by refusing this hot sauce.

Happy 150th you old c***

What a great little idea

TBF I was just a little. I did read the link and the extremely long list of targets. Broadly speaking I'm on board with eradicating this lot, I just don't think enough long term strategy has been outlined for how that'll happen.

Thank god we struck those oil fields first off, the stinking radicalised hydrocarbons, laying contemptuously beneath the ground, lurking, always lurking. They simply won't tolerate our way of life. Stage 2 was going to be bomb the munitions suppliers but they quickly recalled those flights when some bright spark realised it would have meant bombing ourselves and our "allies" in Saudi Arabia.

Tally bally ho boys, over the top and give Johnny ISIS a damn good thrashing and we'll all be back in time for 6 o'clock drinks without a scratch on us, quicker than a ill though through, knee-jerk reaction. That said, I'll just hang back here whilst you get on with it all, love to come along but I've got a touch of gout. Damn shame what what. Dave and cohorts should be travelling to work on the bus and tube for the forseeable so they can get up close and personal for the inevitable reprecussions after his 5 minutes of flexing on the International Stage.

Today we mourn one of our greats - Martinmac (2015)
Stutopia replied to Lexx's topic in Announcements
The first other Zedder I met in the flesh, at the first car meet of any kind I ever went to. It was really strange meeting up with a bunch of randoms in a place I'd never been before, arriving on my own, but Martin couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. His love for the club and Zeds shone through after just a few minutes chatting. RIP Martin -
Hope that's the end of your clutch woes and good luck going after the dealer. If it turns out to be spot on now, if I were you I'd want to know everything they've done since you dropped it off. On the plus side, at least you've more or less got an entirely new drivetrain.

Got mine from Tarmac, it's a really nice step up from the plastic thing that was dragging along the floor. It's taken a couple of whacks too and soaked it up. Z Speed FTW.

New battery.... Obd port dongle draining it ?

I left mine in by accident for a couple of weeks with it parked up, flat battery. -
What's not to like with that beauty?!? LIKED

Love Capris, 80s working man's sports car and the British Mustang

I don't wear underwear when I'm on a track day to avoid unnecessary weight. I can feel the difference it makes. Red hot curry the night before to provoke a full "expulsion" of excess weight FTW!

Seats weigh at least 200kg, spare wheel too, whip 'em out!

They're a pure rice mod and there's nothing wrong with that. It's not like any of lips, splitters, side steps, spoliers, cannards, snorkels, ducts, vents, diffusers, dildos or any other external mods are wind tunnel/CFD proven. The only way these louvres, not some different ones on a different car, can be fitted to a car that is driven in the wet on the road, is on top of the glass. You could easily fit them instead of the glass if you drive your zed exclusively in the dry and don't mind creatures clambering in whilst it's in the garage or if you've got a track weapon with no interior to get soaked.
