I had one handy when mine went, so the RAC chap swapped it out on the drive whilst I "supervised". For Bank 1/Driver's side he didn't remove anything except the sensor and he did it from above, not underneath (it's way too high up to go in from below). He did struggle to get the green plastic release slider to play once the sensor was out but we did a quick YouTube search and unclipped it thanks to this vid ( see from. 30 seconds - I know this Bank 2 but it's just the green slider clip bit) There was not much slack in the loom so it was quite confined, suggest getting a small light up there and a towel over your wing to prevent scratches. Some swearing might be required too. Usual disclaimers apply!

I'd get cover on the Zed, it's fun to drive it harder than you can on the road and you're already familiar with it. I used moris too http://moris.co.uk The setup of the cover was easy, but obviously you only find out how good they are if you claim. I couldn't have lived with myself if I'd gone and not got cover and wiped her out, so it was a simple decision. It also covered getting her home if the worst should happen, that alone would be slice if you had to pay it yourself. Have fun

As above, got a mate at Apple who switched from Google. Seemed to rate Google as a workplace, but then US workers think 12 days annual leave is reasonable, so they aren't afraid to get worked pretty hard. However tough it is, chance to work somewhere like that is something worth a crack at. Especially if they can get you into the US. I keep asking for a job but the closest they can get me to San Francisco is Cork
