  1. Just caught up with the last three after my holibobs. They're getting better, particularly the more screen time Harris gets and the less studio time Evans gets. The really tedious star blah blah car bit is really starting to grate though.
  2. I was at the Iceland Hungary game, incredible atmosphere with something like 75% Hungary fans giving it plenty and the Icelandic boys holding their own. Bit low on quality the game but high on passion and endeavour, the Stade Velodrome was incredible too. On the way to Lyon now, had a great few days in Marseille, looking forward to (hopefully) Roy trying some of the lads who haven't had a kick yet.
  3. I don't add ballast, it always feels like you're just adding slowness to me, though I see the thinking around redistributing the weight. Brake balance is something I nearly always load up one or two clicks forward. Also if you have the Traction Control above 1, I find it a bit too aggressive for most cars, I sometimes go as high as 3 if the car is a handful on every bend. I find the wheel makes two big differences, steering is much more variable and you can be more judicious with the brakes. This is the setup I have, it's the budget end of the wheel/stand market but I love it. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Logitech-Driving-Force-GT-steering-wheel-/112025771055?nav=SEARCH
  4. The Welsh boys gave it everything and we were fortunate to win. I'm in the Lille fanzone right now, I think we can feel confident about playing teams who offer more offensive challenges than Wales did. They wanted a point and were unlucky not to get it, but we kept plugging away and got a win. 3 pts off Slovakia and we'll see the teams who really mean business. Unlucky Wales, good effort England.
  5. Perfect, don't listen to these loons Classic.
  6. Looks like a spaceship just in the shop. So beautiful.
  7. Orange looks great, very nicely done.
  8. Nice! You've got two weeks to improve the others as I'm off to sunny France this weekend for Les Euros!
  9. Thanks for sorting this Niki and to the traders also for supporting.
  10. Well, that's what Hudson says in True Lies lol. You sure it wasn't Hicks?
  11. ^^^ that's a tiny one compared the fat b*****d gulls round here! I'm looking forward to one of those, on the glass I'll try and have a go with compound tomorrow and report back.
  12. They do say, "The 'vette gets 'em wet." I never knew they meant that because it has no roof
  13. EG sucked, anyone for a roundup of internet based car news this week? Errr, no.
  14. What would you run on these for a no stretch look, 245/40/19 front and 265/40/19 rears?
  15. Do it, then I'll send you some new letters that say 'VIP Wheels' Well that's put me right off
  16. Wow, these are tempting and I don't really get excited about wheels! Very
  17. Dan wins the internet today, response from PB below: Unfortunately, you may not be able to get rid of the etching. You can try hand polishing with a finishing polish, such as Menzerna Super Finish Plus 3800 (85RD) with a Lake Country Hydro-Tech Finishing Hand Pad (crimson) - http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/menzerna-85re-cat8.html http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/lake-country-hydro-tech-hand-pads-cat24.html But, this doesn't work on all vinyls, so it would be worth trying it in an inconspicuous area first just in case it doesn't work. If that doesn't work there is no other option to fixing it yourself, you would just need to replace the vinyl.
  18. Spacers work some and not others. They didn't for me, so I went in for an upRev to sort it. At the price, they're definitely worth a shot.
  19. It's the roof. There are no discrete bits
  20. Thanks bud, I've got some IPA knocking about.
  21. Thanks chaps, never occurred to email PB. I'll see what they come back with and post up the outcome. Dirty birds ruining my day
  22. So the local seagulls, fuelled on townie chunder and leftover kebab, have a particularly acidic deposit in these parts. This is after a TBW and a go with CarPro spotless (I know it's for water spots but I've got some handy). Now if this was paint I'd clay and then polish it, but what on earth should I be using on vinyl to shift these unsightly etchings? Needs to be something with chemical cleaning power I think, rather than abrasive. Sorry for rubs photos, they're not east to capture in this sunshiiiine.
  23. Gyeon Snow Foam = BEST SNOW FOAM EVER http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/gyeon-q2m-foam-cat2.html It's thick, heavy, it dwells long enough to clean your wheels whilst it is working and it SHIFTS my number one enemy, bird **** like it's going out of fashion.
  24. This is exactly what I need for my road trip to the Euros next week. I suppose a three week loan is out of the question?
