Wow, these are tempting and I don't really get excited about wheels! Very -
Dan wins the internet today, response from PB below: Unfortunately, you may not be able to get rid of the etching. You can try hand polishing with a finishing polish, such as Menzerna Super Finish Plus 3800 (85RD) with a Lake Country Hydro-Tech Finishing Hand Pad (crimson) - http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/menzerna-85re-cat8.html http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/lake-country-hydro-tech-hand-pads-cat24.html But, this doesn't work on all vinyls, so it would be worth trying it in an inconspicuous area first just in case it doesn't work. If that doesn't work there is no other option to fixing it yourself, you would just need to replace the vinyl.

You're one to talk, with that hyphen!

Spacers work some and not others. They didn't for me, so I went in for an upRev to sort it. At the price, they're definitely worth a shot.

It's the roof. There are no discrete bits

Thanks bud, I've got some IPA knocking about.

Thanks chaps, never occurred to email PB. I'll see what they come back with and post up the outcome. Dirty birds ruining my day

So the local seagulls, fuelled on townie chunder and leftover kebab, have a particularly acidic deposit in these parts. This is after a TBW and a go with CarPro spotless (I know it's for water spots but I've got some handy). Now if this was paint I'd clay and then polish it, but what on earth should I be using on vinyl to shift these unsightly etchings? Needs to be something with chemical cleaning power I think, rather than abrasive. Sorry for rubs photos, they're not east to capture in this sunshiiiine.

This is exactly what I need for my road trip to the Euros next week. I suppose a three week loan is out of the question?

New for 2016 Gran Turismo 6 Challenge Cup

Nice write up! Roma is frustrating, Saint called it by saying you need steady hands in the last sector. That's where all the time was hiding for me. I know exactly where you mean at Monaco, though I found the first corner the most frustrating because of the huge ascent afterward. Very mph you don't carry round the bend into the climb hurts your first sector time. The swimming pool has its moments too! Might have another go at Trial Mountain, this aft, or slaughter nazis on Wolfenstein. It's s tough call. -
Nice carbon goodness

Truly a unique figure. RIP.

Brackets were nasty on mine too when the W brace was replaced, did them at the same time.

Good work bringing it back up to standard, they do have a certain something about them too

Classy looking binnacle that, nice and simple.

Just posting, to say there's no point in posting? Nice work

From the Guardian today - http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2016/jun/02/foxes-blamed-chewing-motorists-brake-cables?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other Foxes blamed for motorists’ severed brake cables Drivers in Tunbridge Wells have been left outraged after hungry foxes apparently chewed through the brake cables of several cars. Kent police have now warned drivers to check their brakes before setting off on journeys. Officers called on wildlife expert John Bryant to determine whether there was an explanation other than deliberate damage to six vehicles in the second half of May. He concluded that a family of teenage fox cubs, rather than a human vandal, had gnawed through the brake cables. “It is a pretty rare occurrence, but you do get a couple of cases every year. It is the cubs who are teenage hooligans now, so they are up to all sorts,†Bryant said. “They get under cars and snap away at all the cables when they are hyped up.†A Kent police spokesman said an expert had confirmed that the damage was not caused by humans. “Foxes, especially cubs at this time of year, are known to rest under vehicles, and can chew through pipes. There is no evidence at this stage to suggest the damage was deliberately caused by a person. However, any new reports will be thoroughly investigated,†he said. Each incident was noticed by the driver concerned and no one has been injured as a result. However, one of the vehicle owners – who had to pay £400 to have her brake cables repaired – did not believe that foxes were to blame. “The cuts are just too clean ... I think it was more malicious. I want cast-iron proof that it was a fox,†she said. Another victim, Tim Ellingham, realised the brake cables on his Ford Transit van had been interfered with last week when they felt spongy. “The line was cut virtually all the way through,†he said. “You could have done it with a decent-sized pair of cutters and a good strong grip in one or two squeezes.â€

Front lip looks formidable. Nice mods

I've abandoned grit guards since one of mine lost a leg, that said mine never gets really heavily soiled. I just pay attention when I'm dunking my mitt and keep it away from the bottom of the bucket and don't swirl it around that much. Flame suit on standby.

The Trial Mountain one isn't as good as I'd hoped, the VXR is a bit underpowered for it. I'm enjoying the other two though and managed to do some damage to my times tonight. I've updated the original post. Saint, you were spot on about the last section of Roma being the key. If you can carry speed through there you're onto a win. I improved my time but I must admit I had to switch to the Auto Transmission as the power band is so narrow in the X-Bow I kept bouncing off the limiter. -
I've always found the FM transmitters to be rubbs and I've tried a few, interesting you've found a good one Dan, will be handy to know in future. For me the best things about doing the headunit (I also did the speakers and amp too) were, better iPhone Bluetooth integration and being able to tune the audio better. I only lived with the Bose for a week or so before upgrading, but IIRC it was pretty limited for configuring the sound and also the sub level and crossovers. I do agree that most of the other stuff like AppRadio and the likes is a bit pony. That said, CarPlay appears to be a leap forward and I'd much prefer a headunit with a capacitive touchscreen, I loathe the resistive type.

Going Topless - Anyone Really Loved A Convertible?

Aye, a huge difference. It makes me sad for the coupe drivers who listen to their thousand pound exhaust systems through metal ear muffs The coupe does have opening windows you know
