If it's been upRev'd after your breathing mods you should be ok, but they usually disable the CEL at upRev. However, you should really pull the codes when the light comes on, it could be anything, you're right to be concerned if it's been on for that long and you've never checked it. Readers are so cheap I can't think of a good reason not to have one.

If I added up the purchase price of my DE, plus all my mods, both the performance and rice, I'd just be into 370z money. Would it have been more sensible to get a more modern, more capable 370z for the same price. Yes! Do I wish I'd gone straight to 370z? No! I'd have had to wait longer to become a Zed owner and this is the first car I've modified, so I've learnt loads and it's been fun. I think you'd be mad to spend the money going from a DE to an HR, unless perhaps you wanted to switch from a coupe to an roadster. All IMHO. I'd go 370z.

Just wanted to say thanks for the kit, it's been waiting a while to go on while I sourced a spare airbox. When it did go in this afternoon it was nice and easy thanks to straightforward instructions for both fitting the new stack and also getting the airbox in and out.

It was more that the measurement for success or failure is, so long as they explode less frequently than ICE cars, it's ok! On a more sensible note, battery's just have different volatile chemicals to gas/petrol/diesel cars, so it's just a different risk.

Microsoft tech support recently generated a fresh Windows 7 key for me after a similar issue, I just had to prove purchase. Took a bit of effort with them over the phone but once I got to level 2 support it was a doddle. I'd download an ISO and install, I think you get a short grace period to register before they shut you down.
