  1. This guy is selling black ones for £53 each https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/132102377278
  2. It's literally a square of plastic with one edge cut in a reverse arch.
  3. Is that what that is? Send GizmoGold a PM, he's breaking his 06.
  4. It will bolt on just fine, but the front arch liners are different too. I'm not sure if they can be made to fit the later bumper or not.
  5. Surely the fast moving air over the vents in the bonnet will cause a vacuum and pull the warm air from the engine bay?
  6. I was about to pull the confused face when I read the OP and first comment mentioning its too expensive, before going to check current prices. WTF has happened to them? I advertised the M6 with them late 2015 through early 2016 for £5.95 for 8 weeks at a time, now they're looking £37 for a fortnight
  7. Your house insurance may not pay out on the basis that the bags would be covered by an additional insurance, i.e. you car. Your car insurance may not pay out on the basis that they were on view (if they were). You may not be able to claim windscreen cover (if it does cover all glass) as it was theft and not a crack caused by a stone etc. Like you say, check your policies as they'll all be different.
  8. Genuine Nissan ones as supplied by Alex don't need any cuts to the connectors. Went straight on to my DE. Pete The plug has been changed at some point in the life of LEDs. I bought genuine from Abbey that they removed from an HR and needed the plug tab filed down. No biggy though, just add 5 minutes.
  9. This looks excellent, whose is it?
  10. The Mrev2 is actually a DE lower plenum, though. So you'd be removing your plenum and replacing it with a £400 new one with a bit of the nearest 2 snorkels sanded down a bit
  11. Is the Mrev2 lower plenum not just for Revup engines?
  12. Just buy them off eBay, they're literally machined pieces of metal, so brand is irrelevant.
  13. Try living over here! This wee country is filled with morons who swear by their 60mpg smoke chuckers for their 3 mile commute to work, then cry when the DPF gets bunged up or EGV gets stuck open. My god I hate diesel!
  14. Isn't the Cobra a 3" exit compared to stock 2.5"? That'll make a difference.
  15. They are basically a throttle position sensor multiplier. When you press the accelerator 20% the TPS tells the ECU and it acts accordingly. This is placed between the pedal and the TPS, so 20% is now multiplied to 60% for example. They don't improve response at all, that can only be done with the remap.
  16. Should have spigots, you're oem bolts are the correct taper, but pretty fat, so you will probably find it a tight squeeze to get the 19mm bit in, most use 17mm nuts. I think the spigots should be ID 66.1, can't remember OD, 73 maybe?
  17. Not to try to be a tattle tale, but should this really be in the 350Z section?
  18. EVs are still exempt, and I've had £9.5K worth of government EV 'grants' go towards the EV purchases and x2 home chargers installed for free. Hope the scheme is still going in 2018/19 so that we'll get another £4,5K off the list price on the Jag iPace. As for emissions I cannot be bothered to point out the obvious facts over preconceptions anymore, this piston-heads thread does it all for me, and i don't even think I've made a post on it!! http://www.pistonhea...&t=1652693&i=80 Aren't they only exempt after the 5th year if they are over £40k? Of course cheaper EV's are exempt from VED, but I don't necessarily agree with it. As for your link, I don't have time to read it now, but if it's about the emissions in creating electricity for EV's, and it's showing it's much less than petrol/diesel, I agree, but it's not Zero however, so therefore should have to pay.
  19. Just so people are aware, EV's don't run on magical fairy dust, they produce emissions too, so it's only right they have to pay into the pot as well. The only difference is petrol/diesel cars produce the emissions as they are driven, EV's produce it before they even charge up, possibly in a different county. As for the new tax system, it seems fair enough for poor people like me, who can only afford a £40k car when it's 5 years old and the inflated tax has already been paid and it's back down to the normal rate
  20. The width of the rim isn't as relevant as the width of the tyre, unless you intend to lay frame like the VAG boys. It's the tyre that will be making contact with the arch if things aren't set right, rather than the rim itself. You're rims will have 19mm more Poke than my old 10.5 et20 Rota Grids but at 12J and a 275 tyre, there's gonna be quite a lot of stretch, more than I would be happy to go with, but thats up to you. On Tein springs it my well fit fine, they are a middle of the road kind of drop, so it may not be enough of a drop to tuck under the arch, but be too low for the tyre not to buff.
  21. I was going to suggest the same as Aashenfox - 255/40 fronts and 275/40 rears. If you're not lowered, you'll be fine, if you are, you'll have to run maybe 3° camber to fit under the rear arch.
  22. Tyre width makes zero difference, however, since you appear to be keeping the 45 profile instead of dropping to 40 as most do, the circumference of the tyre will be larger and will affect the speedo. You will be travelling faster than the speedo says, which is basically begging for a speeding ticket.
