Poor thing looks so poor and dejected, would you kick the wife out when a younger version comes along? Silly question maybe

  3. No body needs it, it's just a bit of fun and for about £95 it's not bad really. It is the ultimate snake oil, though, makes it feel like a different car whilst changing and doing nothing lol
  4. Bubble wrap the life out of it and wrap it in cardboard, print out a few "fragile" signs and stick one on each sign and it'll be fine. I sent a carbon lipped V2 from NI to the mainland with zero issues, but I did pay for Parcelforce rather than trusting it to the likes of Paisley Freight or any budget carrier.
  5. Oh and stealing the cats would be difficult, as there is none Basically I've boiled it down to 2 options, either I'm an idiot, or I'm an idiot
  6. The bulbs are different between pre and post facelift lamps, but no idea if the ballasts are different.
  7. Looks a bit pitted too, but that shouldn't be an issue as it'll all be cut away.
  8. Do you mean the display for the rear parking sensors? Must be. Does it have a few LEDs that you can see in the rear view?

I know, it's a meme... Ah, never mind, wrong demographic. Point is, they (in my opinion) look like an after thought, and a tacky one at that, much like the weird floating screen in Mercs. Have you been inside a Lexus? Everything looks like it belongs and exudes luxury and aesthetic design. No stupid jet turbines stuck to the dash, just smooth, clean lines. That looks pretty nice, I love analogue clocks in cars.
  10. Awesome, a bit of a billy bargain too

Who wouldn't not as exited as the person who actually mentioned it If you mean me, I wasn't excited at all. But please, go back to making yourself feel better about yourself. Let it go man Stop bringing it up then Just like Basil said, 'you started it' Do you proof read your own posts? You're truely deluded.
  12. Forced Induction section maybe?

  15. I'm surprised they won't do them to be honest. No one will offer a warranty/guarantee on diamond cutting because they WILL corrode again. NuLuk will be the most experienced with it, so if they say no, then they must be extremely bad.

Yeah whatever, so original However, it's a discussion re a new Z, something you'll probably never own. You do know that you don't haven't come out all guns blazing everytime someone doesn't have a love in with your precious Mustang. No idea why you feel the need to attack me personally and try to belittle me by suggesting I will never own a new Zed, but that says more about you than it does me. Oh and by the way, it was a tongue in cheek post, I'd still have the V8, but you continue to wave you willy about

At least in a Zed you'd survive a crash. When in a Mustang you'll explode into flames due to it's 2 star NCAP rating.
  18. Maybe add some "Loctite" to the next set of bolts just to make sure they don't come loose as well. Was thinking that, or more likely Gorilla Glue, but would the heat not break it up quite quickly?
  19. You could have shared that critical piece of information earlier! It's a Zed, not a Qashqui
  20. I can't even fit my arm under the car, nevermind see to remove bolts, so on top of jacking the car up to get under it, they'd have to drive the car onto wood blocks or similar to fit a jack under the skirts. In conclusion, there's no way they were nicked. It probably did get progressively louder without me noticing or just not paying attention, then after not driving for 10 days or so I noticed. Strange though, even if they did slowly come apart, both at the same time
  21. Anyone see anything wrong? Got into the car last night and as soon as I started it I could hear a blow, it sounded like it was from a Flexi, which seemed strange because I only fitted the Nismo a couple of months ago and the flexis were fine. So when I got back I took a look under the car and found that sight :S It has me puzzled a bit because I figure if I didn't torque the bolts up enough then they could have worked loose, but surely I would have heard a blow a long time ago and it gradually getting worse? I've checked the other 6 nuts and bolts and they all seem fine, so ordered a new 3" gasket and when it arrives I'll put it back together again. The bolts were A4-70 stainless and the nuts A4-80 stainless, so they should be more than capable of the minor stress put on them under load and heat shouldn't be an issue either to cause them to snap.
