  1. There is a light cut off which shapes the beam pattern when dipped, this cut off moves when you select high beam, a bit like a shutter. The beam pattern for LHD is lower on the left than the right and vice versa for RHD, so as not to blind oncoming traffic. Whether this can be removed and swapped around, I have no idea, but I believe someone was trying it on here.
  2. I had the EPR V2, the bodyshop fell out with me over it, it was that awful Genuine would be ideal, but don't waste your money on it, mainly because I'm after a Genuine V2 and you might get there before me
  3. Just get the PLFR5A-11 you mentioned. They're good for 50k easily and most Zeds would have their plugs changed before that anyway. Iridium will last 75k or so, but has a weaker spark than Platinum and hold no advantage other than longevity that I am aware of.
  4. Nuluk are probably the best in the country for diamond cutting, but you'll pay for it. There are a few others who will be a bit cheaper and provide a good service. I'm going to try Caravans in Lurgan when I get mine done. They've a very good rep with referring wheels but only just started the diamond cutting. If you can get them done for under £500 I'd snap their hand off.
  5. Holy crap, hopefully they don't have to flatten the lot!
  6. I've added you to the NI owners list if that's ok, so you'll get a PM whenever the next meet is being arranged There's also a 350z Northern Ireland Facebook page you're more than welcome to join too
  7. Wheels, exhaust, knob, kick plates and parking sensors were all optional extras/dealer fit options, the decals will probably be off eBay and the carbon is aftermarket. Wheels and exhaust are very sought after, so look after them
  8. Here are a couple of pictures of die-cast replicas of the Nissan 350Z NISMO Edition, made by J Collection: http://www.alpimodel.com/jcl/jc060.jpg http://thumbs2.piccl...N-JC061-143.jpg And both of those are bad versions of the Nismo S-Tune which was never released in the UK. Yours is a GT with a set of Nismo LMGT4 wheels and some stickers.
  9. Welcome to the forum mate, good to see another member from over here I seen this car for sale I think, it's a nice motor, however, there is no such thing as a Nismo Edition, sorry. It does however have a nice set of Nismo LMGT4 wheels, though
  10. http://www.tegiwaimports.com/honda-rdx-7-stubby-aerial-direct-fit-nissan-350z.html Cheapest RDX aerial available that I know of. Bought one myself after mine got broke, genuine Honda part.

    .

UK models all came with Brembo's, so any brake line set made for UK cars won't fit. However, there are plenty of JDM cars over here with floating calipers like yours, so just reiterate to Goodridge that you don't have Brembo's and you'd need the standard JDM version.
  12. I'm 98% certain if you buy your own material, cut a template and attempt to fit it yourself, it'll end up in a scrunched up ball in the bin Some covers aren't really that bad looking, and will certainly look better than a DIY attempt, unless you're harbouring some leather guru talent you haven't discovered yet. I've been toying with the idea of having mine retrimmed, pretty much identically to Stu's, or buying and aftermarket wheel and losing the buttons.
  13. Its on 350z fb page, ******* covered the car in it! The forums page? I looked all he way back to the start of the month and couldn't find it
  14. Just go through insurance, it's gonna cost you well over £2k otherwise. Any pix of the damage?
  15. It's completely stupid, should have been called MPSS2, then there'd be zero confusion.
  16. Maybe, didn't see any of the other light though? Never noticed it before, but that doesn't mean it wasn't always there. Yeah, I think so, but i tried rubbing my fingers across it and picking at it and couldn't feel a thing (though it was freezing at the time, so there may have been a degree of senses lacking in my fingers). Had a look at my own, both lights have the wee circle, drivers side was harder to find than passenger side.
  17. Is that wee circle not part of the mould? No idea about the splodges, sorry. Maybe try clay?
  18. Works fine for me But it's sooo slow in comparison and it harasses me with pop ups. Do you not have Adblock? I can't remember seeing a pop up.
  19. A bodyshop will be able to make them fit I'm sure, but as Ian said, pre-facelifts are the correct ones.
  20. There is no problem with referring them, you just have to find somewhere that can diamond cut and there are plenty about. They'll paint or more likely powder coat the wheel after stripping and repairing it, then diamond cut the rim and centre, then lacquer over everything. I don't think the centre cap can be diamond cut, so you'll have to find another method to repair that.
  21. It has air jack, thats worth the money alone
  22. Did it come sealed with a gelcoat or similar? If it didn't and you never did it, it'll probably bubble in a few months with gases leaving the FG.
  23. I'm lowered 35mm+, attack the speed bumps at an appropriate speed and angle if necessary. I very rarely feel any contact, but then again I'm not hitting them like I'm in a Range Rover.
  24. 25nm, which is approximately hand tight plus a tweak
