A backboxes job is not only to make the noise quieter, but also to change the tone to something more pleasing, if you remove the backbox, you will get all the noise, but you'll also get all of the tones, which may or may not sound like a mess to you.

If you like the TS one without the vortex generators attached, look for the Rocket Bunny version, it's the same kind of style, but wider and meets the sides and lines of the bumper.

Heard of this happening before with the cheap eBay tat. I never really understood people fitting short shifters to 350's because it's very short as it is, especially with a Nismo knob.

Not amazing, but pretty decent - though that doesn't mean extra tight. Think I'll do what Alex suggested and remove the headlights so I can get in properly then use some electrical tape to make sure they don't fall out. I had the same issue first time I bought LEDs, bought half decent ones, but they were over an inch long and took forever to try to fit. Lesson learnt. In future I'll buy the short 5 SMD bulbs or something similar because the light from the larger ones is no brighter.

You think? The Toyo that used to be on mine sounded very tinny and as if it's made of thin light materials or something. The OEM that used to be on my other Zed on the other hand, is basically silent in the cabin but has a decent tone from outside, if only it was louder.

Most aftermarket bumpers don't have reflectors, so I think it'll look fine. Can always knock something up in PS to check. Maybe it will, but most other aftermarket bumpers have other details in or around that area so it doesn't look too bland.

I fear that with the reflectors deleted it'll look like somethings missing. As obvious as that may sound, I can't imagine it being more pleasing to the eye.

You can spot HIDs a mile off, so there will be no question IF the tester spots them, he WILL spot them. Now, whether he wants to fail you because of this is up to him, but those are the rules as stupid as they are. I've passed MOT with a Nismo V2 with no washers, but I count that as lucky since so many people have failed on it. Just google it and look for Lancer Evo forums.

Boring? No. Less fun? Yes. You can have a lot of fun in a FWD hot hatch for example. Of course you can't do doughnuts or drift, but they can be very capable cars in every other aspect.

If you have standard suspension including springs you have problems elsewhere if your camber is that far out.
