1. UK have the amber lights too.
2. Did you send him a message or just post on his thread? Carbon looks pretty good too
3. Yup, can be done at home whilst sitting in the car, unfortunately no one seen you had it booked into Nissan and could advise you of the procedure to save you a few quid. Glad its sorted now anyways
4. You should have messaged Adrian to find out. Hope you haven't wasted £80.
5. I've had between 8 and 39, 20 odd is about average.
6. Forum member or not, he may not have known anything about spigots as it's not spoken about often, it's just assumed people know lol Check both the inside of the rim and the outside of the hub on the car, just to see if they all match, can't hurt to investigate further, but you're probably right. Worth messaging the previous owner to ask about it?
7. LED lights, they're amazing compared to the florescent tubes and you can get them in the same kind of strip light fitments.
8. mmmm the rear nankangs were fine before fitting the new RS3 tho with no slip unless giving it some with traction off ..might be the new RS3 needing to bed in as you say ...and okay im going to refit the spigots after iv used some wet and dry behind the 3 original rotas that were tight. id prefer not having to pull the wheels onto the hubs via tightening the nuts . never sanded powder coat before so hope wet&dry sandpaper does the job They were fine up until this time when the roads are cold, possibly greasy etc, thats why you lost it. Says more about the conditions that the tyres. Ref the spigots, did you fit them in the alloy or onto the hub before fitting the wheels? yea i see your point ..the weather has changed rapidly since fitting them. and i pushed the spiggots onto the wheel then placed the wheel on the hubs . the brand new rota was easy ...the spigot just slid on and wheel went on easy flush to the hub with no effort. the original 3 rotas were a different story.....i had to really push the spigots on holding one side on while i pushed the other side of the spigot to get them on the wheels. then they wouldn't sit flush to the hubs so had to do the wheel lugs up a bit at a time (like when using a torque wrench) to pull the wheel flush to the hubs May have missed/forgot this, so none of the wheels had spigots? I guess it's possible that the 3 older wheels have been referred as you say, leading to thicker PC. Have you access to a vernier to accurately measure the diameter of the centre of the wheels?

10. Don't remove the spigots, it's got nothing to do with them. I've had fairly slow over steer moments in the Zed before with decent 4-5mm Hankooks due to greasy roads, it happens us all, just take it easy until you get rid of the Nankangs and the RS3's are worn in a bit
11. True. May order a battery tester. It will come in handy with my old focus daily commuter too. I always thought the dash battery gauge was enough to go by until now. The problem is when the battery is on it's last legs it can play silly buggers with the electrical system and the gauge being electrical, it may be susceptible too.
12. AEM are pretty premium, they make parts for Nismo for example. Cheap tyres is something to get used to if you're buying from a dealer, very very few of them are going to fit £800 worth of tyres when they can fit them for £300 and be legal unfortunately. High clutch pedal seems to be a Zed trait, I don't know about the 300ZX and before that, but the 350 is exactly the same, you get used to it or adjust it. Visibility is awful in all Zeds, small price to pay for a sexy body shape
13. Get it tested rather than possibly wasting £70-£100, no point if it's in good condition and will last a few more years yet.
14. Toyo, Japspeed, Megan Racing etc etc are all 1/3 the price of an Invidia or Ark, but won't last half as long or sound anywhere near as good. I've recently just removed the Toyosports that came on my car for a much much more expensive exhaust and it's the best thing I could have done. There's build quality and also sound quality, no one wants to listen to a droney toneless exhaust.

Tyre sizes

255/40 rears and 235/40 fronts will be fine. I suspect 245/40 fronts may cause issues unless the rears are 265/40.
16. Haha. Pete is a gentleman and a scholar. Known him a long time from the RMS forums. The bodyshop along with Pete done an excellent job. Wait, are you Pete?
17. Just google cheap tyres and check all the top results for the cheapest price for what you want. There's no such thing as the best per-say, they're all the same really. Also, don't discount your local tyre fitters, sometimes they can match or beat online quotes.
18. Welcome to the forum mate Pete's done a good job on the 350 I see, not that I would expect anything but. Good luck in your TT setup, I'll have to get a look at it when it's complete P.S. Dibs on the Nismo induction
19. Hmmm I'll check tomorrow which ones I need/want. Going to be refurbing mine soonish and the ones on at the moment are a bit messy.
20. I have tried a few different bulbs but never been impressed with them. My current front sidelight bulbs touch the inside of the clear lens & I don't want them to melt it. Looking at these some sellers say they're only for Z's of 2006 upwards. I didn't think the design or fitment of the lamps changed whether it was a 2003 or a 2008? But if someone can correct me I'd appreciate it. There's virtually no heat coming off LED's, so they won't melt anything unless there's another problem.
21. Eagle F1's are available in 275/35/19 non runflats. Check out Oponeo.
