  1. Not even a question, the fastback looks sooo much better. If it was a hard top it may have looked better and been in with a chance. Agreed, but I bet the noise with no roof on will be a bit spesh. True, but windows down, boot down will be close. I just don't think a bit of extra sound it worth ruining the roof line. Just wait for the aftermarket exhausts for more noise

    Had my Re-Map

Why is it sneaky? It's a software license, just like the one that comes with your computer
  3. Will you be considering trading the Camero for one when the time comes?
  4. No, now go back to waiting for your inferior V6 Answer the damn question! 370 vs 'Stang? NISMO!! Yes, inferior NISMO V6
  5. No, now go back to waiting for your inferior V6 Answer the damn question! 370 vs 'Stang?
  6. For the price of a new one over here I think you would be more likely to see me on the Corvette forum I just had a look, I didn't realise they're only $53k Still, it'll end up in flames on its roof Not even a question, the fastback looks sooo much better. If it was a hard top it may have looked better and been in with a chance.
  7. So I can expect to see all you guys on www.mustang-uk.com in about 3-5 years time?
  8. But but but it's coming in RHD
  9. I know what you're saying, but as Atkin said, it's being developed for us over here, so it shouldn't @*!# itself at the sight of a corner Even then, I still think I want one! I've added the normal 370 into the poll if you'd rather choose that? As you say £35k is 2009 R35 turf, but it'll be brand new and shiny and won't need a £1000 service every 6 months However, it'll still need new 19" tyre every 3 months if this burnout control button is for reals
  10. They are! 225 front and 245 rear. That's a staggered set up Kyle. We're taking about wheels here, not tyres Maybe so but they are still a staggered set up. Front Size: 18 x 8.0 Offset: + 30 mm Weight: 18.19 lbs Tyre: 225/45/18 Rear Size: 18x8.5 Offset: + 33 mm Weight: 18.62 lbs Tyre: 245/45/18 Rears are wider alloys so a staggered set up matey. No no no, STANDARD wheels, not Rays
  11. OK, I'll bite, which V6 engines are better performing? And of course FI doesn't count The closest I can think of would be the NSX 3.2 V6 VTEC, but it's still about 50 lb/ft torque down on a standard DE, albeit with 15 bhp more.
  12. Apologies ! It came with the car so assumed it was OEM, it fits like a glove? If this is not the case will amend the ad , thanks So does my Peugeot one, a few of us have them due to the price
  13. When I first heard about the new 'Stang coming to the UK on Top Gear in December, I thought it was great, about time, exciting. Then they went on to say how it's only gonna have a 4 pot engine blah blah blah and my interested vanished before the end of the segment. However, today I was having a look about new cars, playing with the building function on various manufacturer website. I came to Ford thinking I'll make up a RS Focus in some made colour and the first thing I seen was this - http://www.ford.co.u...es/Ford-Mustang I clicked it to read about this pathetic engine they're gonna drop into it, only to see that we're gonna be getting the option of a great big fat 5.0 V8 thumping out 420 horsies and they've FINALLY added independent rear suspension This got me thinking, as I have itchy feet for 370 Nismo as it is, can I really trade in the Zed next year and buy a…. FORD?! The Nismo costs about £37k, the baby 2.3L 305BHP 'Stang should come in un £30k here and about £35ish for the daddy 5.0L. There is no doubt that the Nismo will handle better and the V8 'Stang will destroy the '70 in a straight line, so long as you can get the power down, but given the chance, which would you opt for? I think I want the Mustang more

    VLSD

PM GT4Zed, he used to have a refurbed one for sale
  15. Correct me it I'm wrong, but I don't believe that is a Nissan 350Z OEM cargo net, it doesn't appear to have the nylon sides. It looks more like one of the Peugeot ones to be honest.
  16. just tried the same on mine, wasn't the problem. I actually think I had 2 issues. When feeling for the shield I noticed a big lip on the disc, so I think I have a sticky piston and going by the amount of lip, there's probably no pad left On the other hand, I'm beginning to think the plastic buffeting sound at higher speeds is one of the floppy plastic shields under the car. Can't be the main one because I have a Z Speed, but possible the second one. Gonna get her on ramps this week and have a good look. Really hope the caliper isn't fudged!

    Had my Re-Map

Sneaky American idea by the developers of Up-Rev remapping software, the software can be bought by anyone either private or professional, but each map thats created via the software has to have a license, which means that the developers get revenue for each map done, IE one map + one license fee......wish i had thought of it. Can't you remap 3 times with the same license? Yes ~ you only pay for the license once. From Horsham Developments; Even better
  18. No issues here with the same dampers. Have to tried loosening the nuts and bolts and closing the bonnet?

    Front Wing

I've seen them go on eBay for about £60, but then need some paint etc. There was a site mentioned on here a while back that provides new parts painted for the Zed, think the wing was about £200.
  20. £199 from Clark Motorsport I think. Annoyingly expensive for an item that normally cost about £50 for other cars.

    Front Wing

New or from a breaker? New - too bloody much second hand - £100 with good paint?

  23. Great work Arran I've been looking at oil coolers myself recently, but can't decide if if it'll be worth the hassle. Certainly looks good, though
