  1. You guys are probably monitoring the mustang forums closely, any tangible evidence of RHD 350/R models for the UK? GT seems great but the 5.2 sounds brutal...
  2. As with all these threads I still don't "get" forced induction (particularly in terms of the huge cost and effort involved), when you could buy an R33/34/35 instead. Maybe it's just me...
  3. Ah sorry didn't realise it was released in 2d as well, only seen it advertised in 3d
  4. Regardless, she is a sublime heroine. Great but of casting and can't wait to see her kick more ass. No complaints about the film, exactly what I wanted even if he played it a little "safe" and rehashed a lot of IV. Are they releasing a 2D print btw? Might be even better without all that frame rate judder and ghosting you get with 3d...
  5. That is crap but hey think of all the port you can down over Xmas instead?!
  6. I actually prefer it to be wet or raining. I enjoy that much more. I'm doing Spa in April and I'm hoping it's going to be wet. Ah, it's a Integra DC5 so no rust problems More worried about damaging it as only around 300 in the country. Still pondering about buying one although it would be an extravagance and very stupid. Read about rust problems on sills and arches on DC5s though, seems to be a Honda feature! I've never heard of that on a DC5. The forum is also pretty small so most things are discussed and well known. I'll have to look into it so thanks for bringing to my attention. My DC5 is 14 years old and no rust yet fingers crossed I'm the same about a Zed. Really want one to tick off the list but really don't need one, have no need for one and is an extravagance. No room for a fourth car either. If I can find a place to store my Teg which is basically my track car then chances are I would be stupid and end up buying a Zed 're the DC5 rust it's nowhere near as bad as a DC2 but there are threads out there showing rear arch bubbling. Have you had chance to look at one or drive one at all? Yes test drove a couple and also visited TGM. One was heavily modified and felt pretty hard for daily drive the other was standard barring an unknown brand of jap exhaust. Love the dual nature of the car and hilarious cam phase change as you reach up the revs. Both cars felt a lot more nimble and lighter on their toes than the 370ZN but you defo miss the torque! Might take a punt on a standard arctic blue in summer depending on bonus situ.

  9. Yeah those are not nice conditions, what about the guy in the yelllow caterham? Also surprised that you take a teg out in rain like that given their propensity to rust.
  10. Surprised the warranty company covers wear items like the clutch, which one is it?
  11. Never been pulled but most of the undercover cars I see around here are a) relatively new sombre colours c) VAG 4wd models. Audi S3 and Octavias in particular.
  12. Bit like a mini V12 vantage the way they've managed to shoehorn a 5.4 in that little thing.
  13. Well I bought a 370ZN last year - could've bought a 2010 Boxster instead but I wanted something that worked and had all the toys. Enjoyed 8,000 completely flawless miles thus far.... Re enjoyment it's all about how you drive the things and while the Boxster has a superior chassis and powertrain, I'd be seriously concerned about the reliability and maybe not having as much fun in it. The Nismo is utterly thrashed, spanked and yanked every minute I'm in it. It's been to Monaco & back via the Nurburgring and never skipped a beat just like the 350z before it (window motor and accelerator pedal aside). Friends with second hand Astons, Pork, Loti and Ferraris donate most of their income to mechanics. They really are extraordinarily unreliable - The Fezza is literally made of cheese and the Loti have had engine rebuilds. Porsche is best of the bunch though (GT3 / Metzger unit). Note that all the above applies for the guy who couldn't afford a 370 and went for a BRZ or Focus instead. I'm sure they're having a lot of very economical fun and completely ignoring what people think about their cars. They did what's right for them. DT
  14. Motordyne gear sounds immense btw - if you can afford the premium, go for it.
  15. 350z DE - Miltek + Berk HFC is a reasonable mix IMHO, measured when you want it to be, loud when you're pressing on. 370ZN - currently running Cobra CBE and Berk HFC and it is VERY loud all the time but I love it, total hooligan car now but you can just about have a conversation if you keep revs below 3k. Apparent increase in subjective power too (not ben uprevved though). Cobra zorst on its own sounded great but the cats make it sound like a nest of very angry....cobras are being prodded under the bonnet. DT
  16. So in the end I went for a 1tb C-chassis PS4 with star wars and phantom pain....
  17. All depends how you drive them. IME zed owners are absolute speed freak nutters behind the wheel whereas Mr Gupta in his E63 just pootles along in his 600bhp status symbol.
  18. Surprised nobody has mentioned one of the 370z best features; reliability. Let's face it, these cars rarely go badly wrong particularly the powertrain which is the important bit. The clutch lasts, the VVEL doesn't have vanos style issues, gearbox is solid, never heard of diff problems etc. Certainly when compared to anything German and definitely Italian junk like maserati (4200 lol). I know we complain about servicing costs, tyres and stone chips but for cars of this ability they are cheap to run and don't require a Porsche style slush fund or have crazy M/AMG/RS parts prices.
  19. Had this setup and it was perfect. HFC star of the show and no drone at 70mph. Maybe not loud enough at town speed for some though. Fyi the hks panels are not, imvho, better filters than the cosworths I'm currently running. Pay the extra £40 and get rid of those green washing scourer spongey things.
  20. BS are good in terms of wear rate and price but MPSS wet grip and low noise are impressive.
  21. Did you consider the MK1? Had the choice last year and went for the older model. Prefer the newer interior but it just needed the bombastic bodykit and alloys to really set it off. Now you need to rip that dreadful exhaust off, get a Cobra HFC and backbox on it.
  22. Is the 2014+ 370 better on the natural rust prevention or is it also typically Japanese on that front?
  23. Type Rs are starting to go for a lot more these days, want an Integra
