Car looks good, crackles though are stupid, ok for the odd time but I've heard plenty of these in person now going by and its too much. I also get what was previously said about the hot hatches, this turbo crap with pops and bangs from them just.... whats the matter with a nice smooth sounding N/A engine!? (stuff your economy and emissions). I hate that dull Audi turbo sound, I'd have the crackles anyday over it but both are still terrible.
  3. Very nice vid, I skipped a bit but very nice lol... Looks like an epic trip

    Hybrid Z Car

GTR has tonnes of electronic gizmos helping it achieve its ...mentalness.... the Z cars is just a rear wheel drive big engine sports car, nothing fancy...some ESP lol Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

    Supra MkV

God knows what the price is gonna be, stupid probably as most 'old skool era' cars we all loved are chasing higher performance areas meaning BUMP goes the price. Same with the new Zed, if it ever gets made and however they do it, it won't be cheap I bet. You got 309 ponies rear wheel drive and a decent sporty shape for £30K... try near that price now and you get a well handling GT86/BRZ but with woeful power, want 300+bhp? you're gonna be spending upwards towards £40K and if it's a Porsche etc get ready to fork out a hell of a lot more. Another example is the Celica GT of 2000's era, not bad looking IMO, sporty shape, low rear, the GT made it look the part, interior was cheap as hell but had that supercary look with the cascading dash, 7 secs to 60 and I think you were looking at £19K, now its not terrible old yet the thing that technically replaces it (cough GT86 again cough) is just as fast but not really faster....yet you will be looking at £27K+... Where are the performance bargains these days?! (you could say Focus RS but still dear enough). In terms of the Supra styling, I wouldn't want it bang on to the concept, I realise thats not possible. Just stretch it out a bit more and lower the engine (if possible) to lower that bonnet to the arch. Tellin' ye its too sTuMpY... lol

    Supra MkV

From the camo pics I've commented on within another post somewhere on here, it genuinely looks too stumpy, not the long bonnet sleek concept look. It also seems to have that high 'fender' thing above the front arch, like the new Mazda MX5 has... makes it all frumpy and ...crap lol They need to lower that damn engine... or get a bulge on the go
  7. I'd avoid the facelifted non-HR engines, theres been some stories lol Get a good DE or if you can stretch it for an HR

    The 200k Club!

Nice one! I hope still going strong, I'm looking forward to 100K just so I can say I've had a car with that mileage Only at 87K just now though.. lol
  9. What a mess and a bit of a joke of a listing, all the demands I'll open an unpaid case etc, jesus just sell the car don't be a pain lol god knows who'll buy it though,...screams run away to me
  10. Bit late to the party here, but I see the struggle lol Its on hold for now but last year odds I had seriously been thinking of changing (and probably getting more debt..who knows lol) but its hard to find a 'value power car' like the Z, for what it gives you. I looked at a couple of 911's....996's and 997's and yes you get the performance and handling but again, I'm a normal road user so I want comfort and some sort of niceness inside...and the 911...is woeful. Most are this horrid light grey leather, the plastics are dreadful and when I sat in even the latest one I could afford it felt small, not hemmed in and sporty just, small considering the size of its arse. Also for some reason I kept looking at the door panel and thinking, it looks ...flat and cheap. (a strange thing but it seemed to annoy me at the time). Looked at cayman's and instantly dismissed them for being horrid looking from any angle and same interior issues. Looked at the 370's, didn't like the stock noise, wasn't hugely keen on the design of the interior (quality is a huge step from the 350 though) and I kinda missed the Z bar in the boot, it provides a useful separate ledge for stuff not to roll about haha. I also didn't like that it had no 'tail'. I have a thing for long bonnets but must have a little flick of a tail or some sort. Meh... Looked at some M3's but thought this will be expensive if they go wrong and also there not that special looking tbh, especially inside just looked like a worse version of my friend old 07' 318 d M sport (as he at least had silver bits, the M3's I saw didn't lol). I even thought about a loooot of debt in the shape of a vantage but realised almost immediately I'd be poorer than a 3rd world country (a service is how much!?). Eventually settled on an XKR 4.2 cos' they were in my range and servicing insurance etc all fine to boot. Due to housing situation and having to probably try and get on the ladder I stopped. Edit - I've also driven my neighbours on multiple occasions and its super comfy and gives that special feeling just due to its size and look. Not the best of interiors but still full of leather and V8, I could live with one easy. It's def a hard one depending on your budget and affordability towards it, some of my friends think I've 'shot myself in the foot' with the Z for the bang for buck thing. And just having a gander at those last pics, the Lexus LC is lovely looking but I'm more worried about the Supra....the concept was long and sporty looking. They camo pics I've seen make it look short and stubby... not good, hoping we're all proved wrong with something good looking when its unveiled.
  11. Wish you could turn the bloody washers off so they don't go off every time your lights are on for the first shot....grrr
  12. God I dunno why but I hated listening to that guy lol. Also cos' I find it so hard to ....go back in the car and roll the windows back up...with the interior button
  13. http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2018-kia-stinger/#slide-4339180 Couple of other pics on that link. I think it's a winner. Name is stupid but the outside certainly looks the part, Kia have done well with that indeed! Much more interesting than the Germans for sure. I can see the A7 ish bit but its much better executed on the Kia... A7's are terrible looking things.
  14. Locking something up is just gonna cause issues, even with charges for batteries etc, I know people who still get issues lol. Use the damn thing and even if you have another car still bring it out at some point in the week!
  15. Been seeing updates on this through various car news sites, great if you like drift cars but IMO its just a mess lol I can think of better cars and ways to have fun... usually involving something nice looking, a foreign country and some sunny empty roads.
  16. Drivers door does it every damn year no matter what you do or put in the lock etc lol Just remember on really icey nights to leave room on your passenger side. I've had to jump out it even having driven 25 mins to work. Grrr...
  17. Just clocked Ekonas...HR and your fine comment. I've always shoved super in. Has any HR owner on here if just used...normal? lol I'm aware it has things to counter it etc and be 'fine' but I'd be scared as hell to do so. I've even ran about one night nearly running dry trying to find super
  18. Zed driver will likely be dead soon with that kind of driving

    North Coast 500

Love a good car scenery combo... thanks for sharing
  20. Be extra careful with that right foot just now, a fresh coating of heavy sleet came on yesterday as I went up hill (at a slow pace) and the thing was starting to get unsettled... mind you I am kicking about on MPSS
  21. I knew I was right to specifically look for a Z without the sat nav lol. Phone holder and google maps all the way
  22. Honestly one of the ugliest Z's I've ever seen.... lol

    Five Things

Loves: 1. Power, mid-range go 2. Sound (with a Scorpion/Cobra set up ) 3. Different look from most other sports cars, even new ones, it still stands out when cleaned up 4. Two seats... who the hell wants passengers anyway 5. Steering feel, brake feel.. you don't realise til' you jump in other cars how much a sports car in general is 'honed' to feel better. Hates: 1. The endless stupid utter CRAP f*@%""£$%"%$"$ ball joint banana arms that keep failing 2. The reasonably weighted clutch when in big traffic jams... although I might change that to the HR 1K rev 'skip' in the engine timing that makes you jerk in slow moving traffic 3. £500+ tax bill.. oh come on summer .. lol 4. Drivers door every year without fail in winter will sometimes just jam, or not open or not shut, forcing me if I've don't have time to wait to jump over the passenger side. (nothings actually wrong with the lock lol) 5. I don't have much, bose barely skips on mine in winter so I'm lucky.... aw no wait! The bluetooth module that can't be updated, changed and won't hook on to new android phones...grrr!!!
