  1. May have found an answer... http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/What-is-happening-to-the-Michelin-Pilot-Super-Sport.htm Especially thos little bit from.Michellin "In comparative testing in 18" sizes, Pilot Sport 4 outperforms the Pilot Super Sport in 99% of everyday situations, with the added benefit of 10-15% improved wear. The other 1% is on a dry track where the Pilot Super Sport would outperform the Pilot Sport 4 by a couple of tenths of a second around a long track". Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  2. Ok so MPSS all round and next month I'll be looking to replace all 4 (joy..). Checked black circles and they only now have the front size but not the rears! Now I know they'll be other places that have them but they do seem to be gettin sparce which could be an issue if I get a puncture that requires replacement and I struggle to get one. So... I'm now considering a change but not sure what to do. Heard all the stuff about the new pilot 4s? (Whatever there called)... any siggestions. EKONA/DAN..... lol Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  3. Zed's naturally high and awkward... and I've got the slightly easier HR... so yours will feel hefty lol If its not slipping or having issue changing just leave it, save your pennies. Mines has done 92K, 5 yearly trips to the 1/4 with multiple runs and still fine *touch wood*. There strong the clutches on these unless your silly and a bit rough on it. I remember looking at advice in magazines before I bought mine years ago and it said the clutch will last about 40K.....pfft!!! lol
  4. Any marks bubbling etc should settle within 1 day if it does not its not done right and the dot edges should be done also without issue. Ps. You didn't get it tinted very much did you? lol
  5. Good point... I just thought surely they would hide wires kicking about where water can get to them?
  6. Ok random out the blue curiosity here. I'm not technically minded so it may be silly but why are a lot of sport/supercars.vents open and have wires directly inside exposed... Example.below.a 570GT... if it rains heavy it will surely pour into the vent and be all over that wiring box (only taped up to a.certain amount)... I'm gonna guess its waterproof to an extent but looks...dodgy lol Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

    New Civic Type-R

Just seen this post...new civics are...howlin' ... seen a normal new.civic today and they just look a mess. Fussy and the front just jars out. I wasnt a huge fan of the 'bubble shaped' civic original (fn2?) But miles better than this thing Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  8. Oh this threads jumped back lol. I kinda live with it, irrating as hell... watching a DB9 infront of me, going home from work today, with its paddles just smoothly moving along So if I took this to a mapping place and they hooked up some electronic wizardry would this be easily noticed that this ECU exhaust cam timing thing was out??
  9. I was about to say nice..and the wheels look really good, suit the car, much better than the trend of people darkening or blacking them out... but nevermind... Cracking car
  10. Always seeing stuff about this, wouldn't it be better just to...not do it...
  11. I seen something on FB from Infiniti Glasgow saying the V6 was coming in so many weeks to the dealership or thereabouts. You're right with the wheels, the options for them are pretty crap looking. I hate spindley looking multi-spokes, its a heavyish looking/styled car so should have more broad design to the alloys. Maybe be able to try one in the not so distant future.
  12. Honest to god it looks terrible...and then I saw it had a rear seat conversion... avoid lol

    720S in the flesh

Never actually noticed now you mention it, it's still big, stand behind it and it looks wide but again thats cos' of the low roof. I agree the 675LT is the best looker so far. This could grow on me though. I think designers will look at more aero designs as we are peaking around performance and they can't do the same 'classic' design all the time... even though I'd kinda like them too with modern bits on it. Looking forward to seeing what the 3 seat McLaren will look like... prob a bit mental judging by this...

    720S in the flesh

I would agree its not 'pretty' like the 650S, the 650 had classic profile, not a lot of fuss, which is what I like, this thing was curves everywhere and not much of a tail if that makes sense, but when you see it in the flesh it works. I like the eye socket things nice and evil but I wouldn't have them a contrasting colour to the body unless it was a dark colour. I'm boring so I'd end up having a deep type of grey... meh The interior is nice but not as swoopy as I would have liked... so right there and then I decided to cancel my order..
  15. Skipped into Mclaren in Hamilton after work as I found out this bad boy was in for one day only.... christ its only just been unveiled lol Not sure what dealership is next on its tour. Wanted to see if it was as odd looking from some pics but trust me it still looks the wide body beast that a 650S was and then some...and sounds good too! Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  16. Just watched episode 2...brilliant, much better, all 3 gellin' well... more of that please! (certainly better than GT)
  17. Looks good, if they could do it with an aggressive lip at the back instead of that horrid boy race spoiler it'd be fine lol

    McLaren 720s

I was ready to hate the car (as if I could even afford a wheel off it) and there still is odd bits but I think I like it. It's the side 'profile' I pay attention to, I love design, so there's always gonna be bits that won't be or can't be 'right', so when I saw the bubble roof I wasn't so sure, its like the Z that rather curved arch that is more prominently towards the front is not as sleek as I'd like. The current 650S has a great side profile as was the orignal 12C, nice n' sleek, this doesn't seem to have the same effect. The rear also os tapered down, I personally prefer some sort of lip to give the car a bit of length or tail to it but I realise a lot of manufacturers are hiding spoilers etc so they don't ruin the looks but sometimes I think a little tail or lip helps. See the DB11 and its terrible back end and compare that to the nice profile end of a DB9 (2013+) to see what I'm on about. The 720S interior also is ok, I liked the cascading swoopy dash of the 650 they've went for a more upright one with the screen and a little curve down below it. Over all though I think its pretty good, when watching the videos online it looks good on the move, I like the socket-eye design although I'd have them body coloured. Only two other things are I'd make the roof colour the same. Like the DB11 that black or diff coloured roof looks bad IMO and also...those '2 skin' doors....I'm guessing theres drainage in there somewhere as from the outside it looks like a big slit for water and all sorts to fall down, be a pain in the a*** to clean inside. One things for sure it's gonna be stupid fast... can't wait to see proper reviews on it.
