HR is the way to go my friend! lol You'll love it and from a stock point of view the Z will eat Civics... trust me I've 1/4'd quite a few of them lol (mind you not with 370! lol) Totally different driving experience but you'll love every moment of it. HR Discliamer: If it skips/jerks at slow speed around 1K revs... its fine lol (you can smooth it out with a tune apparently, I've just never bothered)

Yasss more Scottish Z members Welcome my friend! I wouldn't worry about the mileage I've just ticked over 100K on my HR and it still pulls like a train. Get some pics up to we see it lol (even though we all own one but still...)

Quite a few Z's and GTR's and not a single one on here... Scotland letting the side down.

I literally...made sure I was able to stop when it clicked over Now its a case of.... whats gonna go wrong next and the ticking time bomb of the gallery gasket that I hope I never see! (ps... she didn't go out without a fight before 100K... I was driving down and could smell an odd burning smell, but different... tried air con, nope still there.. opened window and could hear a weird noise in time with the wheels spinning... the tin guard behind my left rear disc had rotted and half broken, rubbing on the dish, had to be broken off... bloody thing lol)

Clicked over tonight when going for petrol (super of course)... 100,000 miles and just passed its MOT prior. The ol' girl still going strong!

I love the Vanquish, I'd have one straight away lol... but not this one, its just a special with paint and insides you'd be able to spec by giving them some money... I'd much rather have the one below, simple but enough...and the wheels look better. If I had my way I'd ban black wheels from every car, it looks terrible. When I see black alloys I can only see a corsa 1.2 with them... thats all it reminds me of. Silver/greyish... but not black.

Remember though, there's a difference between wanting people to appreciate you in the car and ....to just appreciate the car. I don't care that people know whos driving but if its a nice car its good to see that recognized, whether its small acknowledgement from someone older or the frantic pointing and smiling of a kid (cos we were all that kid at some point)... its good to share that experience with others who are also interested in cars or even people who aren't and are just amazed at the look of whatever is going past as its different

Tartan Tarmac yesterday, massive turnout! Saw two black 370's, one parked up and one endlessly driving around with everyone looking for a space lol A black and a white 370Z Nismo (Mk2) and also saw a dark blue GTR, Orange GTR (2017) and a black GTR.. just seen this one briefly (Cragus?). Only got pics of some of them... (not fussed on the regys as there posted all over TT's facebook lol)

Sometimes... worse is better! You drive about in amongst traffic with all the TT's, siroccos, 425's etc... then you get the stares and positive reactions when the Z's all cleaned up, different is better... IMO anyway. For this reason I will never own a 3 series,4 series etc etc.. Better for lots of things (dear god fuel for one)... but boring and bland to look at. I like driving experience but it can always come a close 2nd to the styling for me (I'm the kind of person that would love a TVR... if I had the bank balance of a company director and a fondness for rusting chassis)

I would hate a Cube... however everytime one goes by you go "OH A CUBE!" I like that Volvo also, nice sleek GT/Coupe look. Volvo's are secretly stylish these days, like subtle but good looking.

I hate big lumps but I think its ok for what it is... it's hard to make a box look stylish, the rear is a bit...'thin' I'll agree lol. I don't check nuttin'...I just give my opinion..... (huh eh...huh..Mr . opini...no?... ok )

First two don't look like roads I'd be zipping down anyway, third one yeah I prob would... if they weren't there of course haha. No ones completely innocent with cars like Z's etc but theres a time and a place (and remember not to get yourself into trouble and take emergencies services away from someone else!) ... but theres still a point I think, you can still enjoy cars these days, in the right place... just

ok ...... done this time... I think (I did pass English I mean I'm sure of it... christ I do responses for stuff at work.. ) Its late..ish I still like Mr. Opinion ... or how about Mr. I don't like it anyway... lol If your gonna buy a big car, to ferry people about or keep your family safe..buy a Range Rover. Otherwise... buy a car (I dislike big 4x4/crossovers, I wonder if you can tell) If I won the lottery (I'd need to play it first) I'd have a Range Rover, but for someone who loves cars I can honestly take that phrase about a car being a tool and apply it to 4x4's, I just wouldn't 'lust' after one.

I'm of the styling first of car moaning lol I do like design (although its subjective so a hard case to argue when you do haha) I like that I'm now developing notable trends .... but honestly...burn this X2,3,6 whatever... thing PS. Mods.... I don't have the biggest post count but I have been here a while and reasonably (or annoyingly) known to the oldest members haha... when can I apply for a 'sub title'? Like instead of Z Veteran... how about 'Mr Opinion' (I'd take that..)

Honestly why do people buy these. I wouldn't buy a BMW as I'm more into looks for cars but I like the M4, M2 , 2 series etc but these 4x4's, crossover things and same with Merc and their GL, bulbus looking shapes for high rise cars... what is going on? It can't just be me...surely. I get if you want to protect your kids, be safe etc but you must also surely be looking at the styling of the damn thing...and who in the hell is gonna look at the X2 and go ...yeah..mmmm I'm sure some of you will like it but hey.... YOU'RE WRONG (I studied design when I was younger so I have huge opinions on styling... despite it being subjective... remember you're wrong though... lol) ...and yet they'll sell by the bucket load. I think people just see the badge, like the original 1 Series... terrible thing but hey...I've got a BMW

I've a feeling...IF...they are gonna do anything they'll use the TTV6 out the Q60. I wouldn't let it put you down though, the things 'can' cost a fortune to run as such anyway (depending on your miles). I'm less than 300 miles away from 100K, its just passed an MOT with no advisories (after replacing some bits lol) and I wanna keep it for another couple of year. Clutch is solid, touch wood... and I'm just praying the gaskets hold up until I want rid of it It'll def have around 150K before I get rid of my HR.

If its the rev up DE avoid it incase of the oil issues you keep seeing mentioned, I'd go for the HR, if not make sure the DE is in good nick and take that instead. I wouldn't pay 7K either for an 04', little bit lower... again though condition, servicing is key. (you just can't tell what fuel they've been putting in )
