  1. Always see info (usually US sites) saying Zed can do 13 odds but it would have to be PERFECT conditions lol. I'd say at best for most drivers your looking at very late 13's low 14's. Quickest I've ever had out my HR was a 14.3 @ 103 (I've decided to retire it's 1/4 days after 5 yrs on the trot, it's done well, beating most stuff it raced - Except Kris's TTS... just incase hes watching from the shadows! )
  2. The simple answer is ...yes change about your exhaust... but no... don't de-cat things lol Its a no brainer. Not helpful I know but if you someone said to me you can do 'x' to your car but the result is a possible MOT fail or each year you'll need to swap stuff about, I'd be like...nah I don't need that. I see people doing this and see the same problems and feel the need to moan about it haha. sorry
  3. That's mine in my signature, Grey HR, tinted back windows, private reg. besides that stock... well the exhaust but you'll hear that maybe, not see it as much lol. There is a couple of silver ones I've seen, a modded one I'm aware of with gold alloys and a stock HR I've seen on the motorway. I'm usually on the M8 to and from work but you'll catch me going through Newmains/Wishaw/Motherwell regularly enough on random trips to shops n stuff. I'll keep an eye out for any black GTR's kicking about and give it a wave, see if its you. I've seen one near uddingston but it was pre-11' with exhausts that didn't fit well lol (Also seen two new 2017 GTRs, orange and grey in Newmains, just incase anybody knows lol)
  4. £198 a tyre! No chance lol Paid less than that for my new MPS4's
  5. I know its not a Z but just in case anyone knows it or seen it lol Was at my mates yesterday in Newmains just up from Asda and all I heard was this 'trumpet', looked out and a brand new GTR passed, and rocketed up the street towards Cumbusnethan. I've seen a dark blue one round there before also.
  6. Just changed all four to MPS4 and I can say even in the wet there impressive, nice bite as soon as you turn in, grips seems to be good. Plus its made the car a bit comfier now I have some new 'shoulders/tread height' lol
  7. Well apparently the MPS4 outperform the MPSS I hope so, they were awfully expensive lol (mind you so is every tyre I buy for this car) It is a money pit. Tyres this month, tax, service...probably brakes next
  8. ... we really are car geeks, we so are...
  9. Just noticed the inside...unlike other tyres ive had there all rubber feeling and black....theres a funky texture feelin inside these, not sure why but wierd to touch lol Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  10. Had a delivery of 4 large pressies today Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  11. Oohh a slight diversion haha... my comments are meant for people who like cars (or say they do..). If your into photography, as are some of my friends, I could think of better things to shoot, but again nothing wrong with it. If your there to see cars though, take some snaps then put it away enjoy the cars. and.. ....I didn't realise this was yours?! Hella' different from the last time I saw it (aka in your picture!) I feel bad now haha its fine if you'd seen mines is full of dings and wee scratches (from other people! ) and then a major bumped scratch/**** up at the rear (my own fault not paying attention ). Its plastic so I haven't bothered to fix it as of yet and its on the line before it curves under so...still looks ok when washed lol
  12. Sunday June 25th 9:30-12:30 Motherwell college. Please come and show me your GTR (say the inner child in me).. I'll take you a run in the Z...
  13. Despite my last post I assure you I did plenty of 'laps' to pour over the cars outwith a camera haha. Heres some snaps from yesterday TT event Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  14. Oi! Wheres mine haha I had parked up next to a DE all blacked up, looks as if it was used for driftin' as it was stripped out, might explain the splash and dash paint job it had lol Some really nice stuff at it indeed, I didn't realise how small the wheels are on the Ford GT (not the width obviously).
  15. http://www.carbuzz.c...usiast-7739201/ Some good little pointers on that link, but one part about the excitment of cars I agree on most certainly. I went to Tartan Tarmacs event this morning and it was busy as hell, great turnout from classics to sports to supercars. Now I don't mind taking a few photos but I like to soak it in, do another round of 'laps' and pour over the cars. One thing I've noticed is the amount of kids (wearing skinny jeans... that trend needs to end somewhere lol) with high end photography kits and camera and there bounding about just.... taking pictures and swiftly moving on to the next not even giving the cars a second glance. I'm sorry but isn't the point of an event to see stuff you would never see, savor the moment. I'm 31 christ and I still love peering in gaps, vents, windows, looking all around and at the general design of stuff, getting close up to the stuff that gives the wow factor. These kids I was seeing were just snapping away and when people were trying to look at the cars (good on them), I could seem some feeling a bit pushed out the way as these other folk were standing trying to get the 'shot'. Tip: Don't be one of these knobs standing in front of cars and generally looking through a lens all day. You see those vids on youtube of London or Monaco... genuinely what a terrible place to live. I love cars, I love the design, shape, proportions but even I would hate it, groups of people just stopping traffic and also causing a bit of a pain to other drivers...its still a road! Maybe too many people trying to be youtube stars or something but tbh wouldn't you just prefer to be that little kid you were years ago and still be amazed by stuff you see, I know I do. Thoughts on this kind of thing?
  16. Can't mind the reg but it passed my grey Z not long after coming of the slip onto the M8, so I would assume you would notice another one next to you haha If I see it again I'll try and mind the reg
  17. AMT

    350z & R35 GTR

Nice pics! Love the side by side ones haha. Awesome combo
  18. Ok so called up my place for fitting I've used for years. Quote me.for.some pilot sport 4 please.....certainly... fully fitted £790.... jeabus! Lol so even though its a dearer charge for fitment if you take the tyres to them, if I buy from black.circles all in fitted will be £609... which is dear as hell but certainly better than a direct purchase. 790... dear god lol Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  19. .... I hate you..thats amazing...god whats gone wrong in my life Welcome back! Car looks stunning
  20. Saw it in the morning and then again heading home from work. You passed me not long after joining from the slip road. Decided to sit behind and have a look at ...my car lol And the Toyota Avensis that seem to be right up your chuff Still love how the Zed from behind looks like a mini squat supercar thing, definitely different from everything else
  21. 35 all round will be fine and it should keep the wear on the tyre spot on. I'm looking forward to replacing all 4 to MPS4 soon too, should be interesting as I've been running MPSS for a while now.
  22. After lots of internet chat and also just a bit less online in certain sizes, I just watched an online review of the new Lexus LC.... which will come with MPSS?! They can't be gettin' rid of them if there supplying them for brand new car. (albeit it could be just for that car and some others but you get my point...)
  23. MPS4 it is then, I look forward to seeing how good they perform once bed in. Next month however, this month....TAX! (increased yet again lol)
  24. I also note the new pilot sport 4's are cheaper than the MPSS slightly... good times lol I've read there is a MPS4 and a MPS4S.... I take it the MPS4's are fine and the ones to go for? I think I'll go for these bad boys see what there like. Longer lasting (apparently) and cheaper... win win hopefully
